La casa bella e accogliente

Partiamo con un po’ di nostalgia perche lasciamo le vostre belle isole e la vostra casa bella e accogliente. Davvero e’ la casa “vacanza” piu’ bella che io abbia mai visto. Ospitalità eccezionale!!!

Frank è bravissimo!! Ha organizzato tutto. La casa era bellissima e molto pulita. La nostra vacanza è stata breve (3 notti soltanto) però siamo stati molto bene. Ci hanno persino fatto trovare in frigorifero una piccola spesa ( latte, acqua, formaggi, affettati, frutta...) non potevamo chiedere di più!!!!

Un soggiorno bellissimo al Mediterranea Gozo

La vacanza a Gozo è stata piacevolissima .Appena giunti sull’isola, siamo rimasti affascinati dalla bellezza del paesaggio e dalla calda accoglienza. Infatti il proprietario della casa in cui soggiornavamo si è dimostrato una persona gentilissima in quanto giorno per giorno ci indicava il modo migliore per visitare l’isola ed apprezzarne così sia le bellezze naturali che storiche. L’appartamento in cui soggiornavano era molto confortevole, offriva una meravigliosa vista panoramica ed il servizio offertoci è stato impeccabile!! Consiglierei a tutti coloro che amano vedere e scoprire luoghi ancora incontaminati , un soggiorno su quest’isola!

Vacanza autunnale a Gozo

Gozo è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Un mare stupendo, un clima mite e un'ospitalità perfetta ne fanno una meta ideale anche nei mesi autunnali. Per quel che riguarda l'alloggio, si è dimostrato una scelta validissima per noi, due coppie di amici che volevano passare una settimana di vacanza insieme ma nel rispetto della privacy, garantitaci dalla disposizione delle camere e dei bagni su due piani diversi, dalla presenza di 2 terrazzi e di un solarium, che non ci obbligava in alcun modo a condividere gli spazi. Molto curato l'arredamento e la dotazione della proprietà: non mancava veramente nulla! Dal forno a microonde all'asciugatrice, dalla piastra per lisciare i capelli al mini impianto stereo nel bagno! Addirittura i teli di spugna da stendere sui lettini e due biciclette per esplorare l'isola! Pensavamo di noleggiare un'auto, ma, così come consigliato dal proprietario, abbiamo deciso di valerci dell'ottimo servizio di autobus, che raggiunge tutti i siti più belli dell'isola e che ferma proprio a pochi metri da casa. La disponibilità di Frank, il proprietario, è stata altissima: ci ha dedicato parecchio tempo per illustrarci le mille attrazioni di Gozo, lasciandoci tutto il materiale che di solito si trova solo nelle agenzie turistiche, compresi i menu dei ristoranti presenti nelle vicinanze. Ci ha messo in contatto col diving center più vicino e ci ha prenotato addirittura i biglietti per l'opera! Conto di tornare a Gozo nel periodo estivo, per poter apprezzare ancora meglio la bellezza delle spiagge e la meraviglia del mare.

RELAX e MARE

Un pò scettica ho accettato la proposta di amici di soggiornare una settimana all'isola di Gozo, malta; sin dal traghetto mentre guardavo il m are sotto di noi e l'isola in lontananza capivo che il mio scetticismo era svanito per lasciare posto a tanto stupore per le bellezze che vedevo!!!! un posto incantevole, un mare da favola ( e vi assicuro che ho girato moltissimo, ho fatto quasi tutte le isole caraibiche) e al nostro arrivo la ciliegina sulla torta è stato Frank, il proprietario della casa che avevamo affittato!!! Ci ha riservato un'accoglienza fantastica, lui e sua mamma sono due persone divine, ci hanno viziato e coccolato per tutta la settimana...disponibilità totale, 24 ore su 24.....ma davvero su 24!!! La casa poi.......che ve lo dico a fare, grandissima, con una super terrazza dove guardavamo le stelle comodamente sdraiati su dei lettini morbidissimi!!! sinceramente le foto non rendono giustizia alla bellezza della casa e alla sua posizione strategica. arrivavamo a piedi ovunque o quasi e comunque c'è un servizio autobus iperattivo!!!! Io ci sono stata con una coppia di amici, i miei bimbi di 9 e 2 anni ed un'altra coppia di amici con una bimba piccola....perfetta per tutti...!!! se poi avete voglia di discoteche e non vi bastano quelle che trovate in spiaggia ci sono traghetti ogni 30 minuti che in 15 minuti vi portano alla valletta!!!! Ci tornerò sicuramente e soprattutto tornerò da Frank e sua mamma!!!!!! Grazie di cuore per tutto. Cathy, Massimo ed i bambini

Splendita casa su più livelli

La casa è situata nei pressi del porto a cui si arriva da Malta, ben arredata e pulita, è suddivisa su più piani, assicurando in tal modo grande privacy a chi vi dimora. Accessoriata di tutto quanto può servire, non occorre riempire la valigia di cose inutili... Nelle vicinanze poi ci sono i ristoranti migliori dell'isola, e da qui si possono raggioungere le mete più ambite! Poi si può sempre contare sull'aiuto di Frank!

Wonderful location on Gozo

Frank was a wonderful and informative host. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our weeks stay.We were within walking distance from the Mgarr ferry terminal, and close to bus stops which easily take you anywhere on the island.The supermarket was a bit of a longer walk (about 20 mins) but as the weather was usually wonderful, it was very enjoyable.We loved our stay on Gozo, and loved our stay at this spacious, and quiet house.

Wonderful Stay in Gozo and a host that went above and beyond!

We spent the holidays in Gozo and found this property in Ghajnsielem was perfectly located. It was exactly what we hoped for. Our host, Frank, made arrival incredibly easy. He picked us up from the ferry to help with our luggage as well as having delicious food waiting for us upon arrival. He proceeded to take us to the grocery store and then even picked up the 4th member of our group. He went through a map and highlighted walks and sights we should try to hit as well as giving detail instructions on bus lines and transportation. Most of which we did. There were bikes available but we hit the island on foot and tried to emerge ourselves into the beautiful Gozitan culture. It was amazing! The beds were comfortable and we loved all the balconies and patios because even in December, we had amazing weather. We would highly recommend this rental.

The best host ever.

Frank was the perfect host from start to finish and clearly wanted us to enjoy Gozo going out of his way to tell us everything that might help us achieve that. The property lacked nothing. We especially appreciated all the balconies, giving either sun or shade for each moment of the day. The only down side for us was the noise of the road traffic at night, accelerating as they climbed the hill, but we come from a very rural area and are not used to any traffic at night.

Spacious house close to harbour

The house is great, clean and spacious. It is spread over 3 floors, with a roof terrace above, so a lot of stairs to deal with, but the view from the roof is gorgeous, across to Malta and Camino. There are balconies and terraces everywhere, the master bedroom has it's own bathroom AND large terrace ( though the view from there is not so good as building works are currently going on right behind the house). Air con is good in the bedrooms but you have to keep emptying buckets of water that it produces. It is about 10-15 min walk to the harbour, steep hill though, with steps at one point, so can be hard work coming back. There are no real beaches within walking distance to the house; you can swim from very rocky areas if you are brave, but best to travel. Frank is next door and very helpful with local info. I would have liked a beach a bit nearer but that was my fault for not researching properly! It's a great location for getting around the island and for the ferries.

Everything you need with a wonderful host!

We could not have asked for more from this rental! The home was spacious, clean, well equipped, with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, and the views from the numerous balconies allowed for a 360° view of the beautiful Ghajnsielem, Gozo region. Our wonderful host, Frank, could not have been kinder or more helpful! Frank picked us up at the ferry terminal and drove us to the rental where he had prepared a few traditional Gozo snacks. After giving us a tour of the house and offering many options on what to do, where to go, and how to get around Gozo, Frank drove us to the grocery store to pick up a few supplies. All of these features got our stay in Gozo off to a fantastic start! We highly recommend Frank's rental. We very much enjoyed our stay. Susan and Dave Nova Scotia, Canada

Gozo adventure

The property was in a great location for ferry and bus access to every part of the island. Close to restaurants in marina and we did two coastal hikes from house. Also a fantastic spa at the Grand Hotel. Frank was an unbelievable host. He picked us up at the ferry and had wine and snacks ready. He also briefed us on what to do and how to get there on buses. Best of all he took us to the supermarket and fresh fish stores since we were staying a week. By far the best communication with a host.

Everything was more than perfect!!!

We had a wonderful stay on Gozo. We have to thank the very beautiful house but also the wonderful landlord Frank. Frank has already before the arrival touching cared for us, gave tips on how to get there and then also greeted us very warmly with welcome snacks and lots of additional information about Gozo. The typical Maltese house is located with a beautiful sea view only 15 minutes walk from the harbor. Restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity. Exploring Gozo

We have just returned from a 10 day stay in Gozo. We had a wonderful time, we booked this particular villa as the reviews were excellent, particularly regarding the host Frank and it did not disappoint. Frank was a fabulous host, from the time of booking until after we returned, his communication, advice and assistance was outstanding. His villa is immaculate and very welcoming with all the amenities you will need for your stay. With wonderful views over the local harbor, and a short walk down to all the bars and restaurants and a small beach at the end of the harbor for swimming and close to the ferry it was a great location. We explored Gozo on Frank’s bikes, some hired E bikes ( not cheap but great fun ) and buses which are very reliable, good value and air conditioned! We managed to see most of Gozo and also had a day out in Malta. I can highly recommend this villa and if we return this way will definitely stay again. Thanks again Frank for a fabulous time!!

Stay like a local

We stay at different VRBOs once or twice per year, and my teenagers said that this was their favorite. It had everything we needed (enough beds/bedrooms/bathrooms, a washer and dryer, clotheslines for wet swimsuits, bikes, wifi, snorkeling gear, linens and towels). The house is in the same town as the Gozo ferry terminal so it was convenient to get here from Malta. It's also within a block each way for two bus stops that will give access to the rest of the island. Frank made us feel right at home when we arrived and served as a trusted friend for the whole week. He gave us recommendations on the best places to swim, eat, and sight-see (and how to get there). He even helped us find a mail tube at the Malta Post Office to protect a souvenier poster that we bought. The house itself has three levels and balconies front and back so you can be outside in the shade morning and night. You'll feel like you moved into the neighborhood when you stay at this place.

Our stay in Ghajnsielem

The island of Gozo, and coastal walks are stunning. The good things about the property are its location and convenience to Mgharr harbour. This property is perfect for someone staying for a few days. We stayed for 5 weeks, and the rustic nature of the place started to weigh heavily on us. The place is well equipped, but it is certainly not luxurious. Look elsewhere if you want to stay for more than a few days.

Beyond Amazing

Our stay at this amazing seaview holiday home exceeded all of our expectations! Frank, the owner, was absolutely wonderful!! He picked us up at the ferry, welcomed us with milk,wine, beer, bread and fresh pastizzi. The home is outstanding. It really is. Frank had everything (and then some) that we needed. The location was perfect. Frank was the best host that we have ever had. The view from the terraces was breathtaking. We would recommend staying at Frank's beautiful home to everyone. It was one of the best experiences of our lives.

Pleasant Christmas on Gozo

We were staying in Malta for three months but wanted a quieter location for Christmas. This house provided just that and more. The pictures and listing accurately show the rooms and amenities provided. It is in a great location not far from the ferry from the mainland and on a bus route that can get you into Victoria or elsewhere on the island. The buses were easy to use so we would not bother with a car on Gozo. Bicycles were also available in the apartment and looked in great condition, though we did not use them as we preferred to hike. The apartment is in a quieter village but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and the grocery store is a short walk. There were good hiking routes nearby and it was easy to take the bus to most of the sites on the island. The apartment was well-equipped and had everything a couple or family might need. Stone houses are a bit cooler in the winter but the heating worked well and wood was supplied for a cozy fire in the the fireplace. There are four balconies/terraces so there was always someplace to sit outside in the sun. However, the best part has to be the hospitality of the owner, Frank. He collected us at the ferry, briefed us thoroughly on what we might want to do in Gozo and was easily available to answer questions (since he lives next door). Frank stocked the apartment with a couple of days of basic grocery requirements (we still seek out the nice Maltese wine he provided) but also drove us to the grocery store and waited while we picked up a few things. He even dropped off a bag of oranges picked from the family grove across the street, which we used to make fresh orange juice at breakfast using the juicer in the apartment. Frank was a great host, available when we needed him but otherwise left us to our privacy. We would definitely return to Mediterranea Seaviews!

Toller Urlaub auf Gozo

Wir verbrachten hier sehr schöne Ferientage im Februar. Frank ist ein vorbildlicher Gastgeber schon im Vorfeld erhielten wir sehr viel Informationen. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und kann bis zu 6 Personen beherbergen.Die schönen Terrassen konnten wir im Februar nicht intensiv nutzen.Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet.Den Kamin im Wohnzimmer haben wir fast jeden Abend angehabt, das Holz hat uns Frank zur Verfügung gestellt.Wir haben tolle Wanderungen unternommen auch eine Tour mit dem Hop on Hop off Bus war sehr abwechslungsreich.Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

In the 8 months we have been on the road travelling our way from Australia to Europe, this is the first place we have felt truly at home. Malta and Gozo was a last minute decision to visit enroute to Greece and it was the best decision we have made yet! We absolutely love it here and what has made it even more special, Frank, is your beautiful home and wonderful hospitality. We have stayed in many accommodations around the world and Mediterranea Seaviews is by far the best we have stayed in and your hospitality and kindness has exceeded any other host. You have thought of everything your guest would need to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. The welcome lunch was a beautiful gesture, pickup and drop off from the ferry. Taking your time to sit with us and share your knowledge of Gozo, even the trip to the beach has made our stay all that more memorable. Our only regret is that we did not stay long enough, but it gives us an excuse to come back next year and spend much longer. To us this is the perfect escape and we have come to think of it as our second home. Thank you for everything Frank. You are an absolute star. See you next year!
