This little home is special. The owner provides all the perks. The only suggestions I have are bring a sleeping mask as light floods in from the apartment behind and if your a couple be good at cuddling as bed is small. Other than that everything was perfect!
we are a pair of travel nurses and had zero complaints about our stay. Grill available, firepit too, full kitchen and lots of personal touches. We were greeted with our own quiche baked by our host!!. Host was AWESOME and was always available. Highly recommend
The cute tiny house has all that one needs. It was neat, clean and furnished nicely in shabby chic. There was a nice yard area, and the breakfast quiche was a nice touch in addition to the fresh fruit. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and Susan was a great hostess. I will definitely stay again!
The space in this tiny house is maximized to the hilt. We were well stocked with coffee and all the coffee essentials, a wonderful quiche which we were able to eat for two delicious nutritious meals! There were muffins, cereal and milk, most all the choices one would expect in a breakfast buffet. Everything else we needed was there at hand. The hospitality was above and beyond.
The tiny house was so neat and tidy and completely well furnished with everything from puppy treats to quiche fresh fruit, and plenty of things to drink. Toiletries and great linens!
Susan is a jewel. So accommodating. Homemade quiche, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and more. Tiny cottage is neat, clean and comfortable. Location is blocks from Old Downtown. Lots of shops and restaurants. Susan had suggestions of places to go. Recommend!
The hostess could not have been more welcoming! She had left a water bowl and a jar of treats for my dog as well as nice selection of breakfast options for me, then brought over a homemade quiche. She also gave me the OK to walk my dog in the property's yard and there is a nice park with a walking trail just blocks away. Small but comfortable.
We had a great experience staying here. The house was charming, very clean, and close to downtown. The breakfast was fantastic and the owner was exceptionally helpful. We will definitely be back!!
Lovely & Charming! My husband and I (plus our little dog) had such an enjoyable stay--comfortable in every way possible. Susan, the owner, was an outstanding hostess who provided all kinds of delightful tasty treats along with an amazing homemade quiche--Delicious!! And... she even had doggie treats!!

Quaint tiny house in a quaint town
The tiny house was just as advertised. Very manageable space stocked with everything you could need. Susan even provided paper goods and breakfast which we turned into two meals so that was a treat. The bath is a nice size and the kitchen is fully functional with plenty of space for two. The downtown area is walking distance and there are lots of historical homes to see in the area. Susan was available for any questions I had.

Perfect for Round Top Shopping
Very well stocked small house for a couple with off street parking. Wonderful host who communicated well and promptly. Excellent breakfast and snacks which we took with us in the car for our days treasure hunting at Round Top antique week. Great to get away from the fields and to Brenham each night to relax and make our own meal in the full kitchen. Thanks !

The owner of this B&B has thought of everything one could possibly need or want. The best!!!
We felt like we were in the comfort of our own home. Furnishings are attractive and suit the period of the home. Wonderful balcony to relax and enjoy the scenery and birds. Delicious breakfast to enjoy in our own apartment. Susan, the owner, thought of everything!!
Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

About the host
Hosted by Susan McGee
Having had a life long dream of owning a historic bed and breakfast, I finally purchased this home in 2014 and began extensive remodeling and upgrading. It has been a wonderful journey, meeting guests from all over the world and making them feel right at home here.
Why they chose this property
This home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because it was built in 1910, in the Four Square American Movement style. It is conveniently located only blocks to downtown, yet sits on Pecan covered half acre lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. A quick walk and you can have a choice of great places to eat, awesome live music, a brewery, parks, galleries, live theatre and multiple historic sites.
What makes this property unique
You will love the relaxing atmosphere at Historic Holle House, it's unique antiques, fully stocked kitchens and great hospitality. Whether you are enjoying the big yard with sweet magnolias, the huge covered porches with swings and rockers, the full country breakfasts or the array of shops and things to do see & do, you will surely enjoy your stay.
