Grande casa sul lungolago recentemente rinnovata proprio sul bellissimo Lago Superiore con case vacanze per tutto l'anno a partire da febbraio 2019. 200 piedi di lungolago con scale per il lago e la spiaggia. Casa a più piani (2.000 mq) con 4 camere da letto, 2 bagni, sauna e garage annesso con area di lavoro. Cucina aperta, sala da pranzo, soggiorno e sala da pranzo con vista sul lago e sui boschi circostanti. Decolla dalla bellissima camera da letto principale per goderti il tuo caffè mattutino mentre guardi i Loons nel lago o rilassati la sera mentre aspetti il lampo verde del sole al tramonto. Fai una sauna la sera e rinfrescati nel lago. La casa ospiterà una famiglia o un gruppo di tutte le età abbastanza comodamente. Un miglio a Calumet Waterworks Park e sei miglia a Village of Calumet. The Hideaway

I want to say it is terrible so I can come back again and again but I have to be honest and say this was the most beautiful spring break we've had. I hope to come back to Stella's hideaway many times. The accommodations are so very thoughtful and Keith is a wonderful 'neighbor' and host. He went out of his way to make sure we felt like we were right at home. This place is one of a kind. We saw the northern lights 3 nights in a row. Can't wait to come back when it is warm and try out all the fun lake toys!

Perfect Winter Lodging

This place right on Lake Superior was excellent for a winter getaway to the Keweenaw. Close to Calumet but still in the wilderness to feel isolated. Sauna onsite is excellent. Plenty of beds as well as a really nice master bedroom. Responsive host. Highly recommend!

Winter Wonderland

Our family of six plus an old dog had a fantastic time at Stella’s Hideaway. Everything we needed was already there. The Hideaway was perfect for game time and the beds were cozy. The wifi was strong. The sauna was warm and eucalyptus oil was available for the water bucket. The shoreline ice was dramatic and mesmerizing out the many picture windows. We skied daily at Swedetown and enjoyed visiting shops in Calumet. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Wonderful weekend

Loved the living room for hanging out and a beautiful view of the sunsets over the lake. The dining room was a perfect place for family meals and board games. The kitchen was on the smaller side but had all of what we needed. Beautiful views from the primary suite and lots of sleeping spaces for family and friends. Keith was quick to respond and very helpful. Finding a Christmas tree in the living room was a wonderful surprise and added to our December trip.

Beautiful Location

This isn’t your all white modern condo with new furniture. This is a home with nooks, crannies, and rolling floors. But it has all the amenities of your own home. Coffee, dish soap, trash bags, etc, etc, etc. And a welcome basket! I can’t stress enough how wonderful the views are from most of the rooms in the house. In fact, the main bedroom’s view and private balcony were extra special. Bikes, kayaks, and sauna were all used and as advertised. Was very nice to have high-speed internet. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Lovely fall getaway!

Perfect spot to land for some beautiful fall colors! We always love being by the big lake, and the views from here were wonderful! Sunsets, waves and stars in abundance. The hosts were wonderful and had everything set up so well. Teens loved the new kids loft, lots of fun games and puzzles for everyone, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen! Thanks so much for sharing this place with us!

Incredible all around!

What a magical place. We had a small family get together at Stella’s Hideaway and it was absolutely perfect! From the communication with Keith prior to arrival to the amenities at the house, everything was amazing. The outdoor space with the fire pit was a wonderful place to spend the evenings and we got a special treat of seeing the northern lights! And don’t even get me started on the view of the lake! We loved every minute at Stella’s and we are already talking about our next visit.

Wonderful stay at Stella’s Hideaway.

We spent just four nights at the property but had a wonderful time. Everything was as described online. The fall colors were beautiful and the sunrises and sunsets were lovely. The lake was pretty rough so no swimming or kayaking. We visited Copper Harbor, Quincy Mine, Mount Bohemia,, Brockway Mountain, Fort Wilkins, Estevant Pines, and Eagle Harbor Lighthouse. A good time was had by all!

A little piece of paradise

We spent a great week at Stella’s Hideaway swimming, sauna-ing, hiking, biking and exploring. We wish we had had more time. The view and sunsets were spectacular and the house had everything we needed. It was a great central location to get to all of the mountain bike trailheads easily, and Calumet was close for restocking provisions. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful Place

We had a smaller group and it was the perfect space for the 5 of us plus two dogs. Space had everything needed for a week long stay to be comfortable and the store isn’t too far of a drive for any other needs. Most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen in Michigan. The beach was awesome but it was really only warm enough on this last day for prolonged swimming. The sauna is a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again if we ever re-visit the area, its very welcoming

A Special Home in a Beautiful and Peaceful Place

There’s something about walking into a cozy home with windows opening onto the expanse of Lake Superior that is literally breathtaking. We were immediately wowed by this place. It has a ton of space and enough beds for 15. Keith was communicative, welcoming, and thought ahead of everything so we never needed to reach out the whole time, though it was comforting knowing he was in the neighboring home. This house is situated on a large property with neighbors on either side, but far enough away to feel secluded and private. The sauna and the lakeside were by far the best of the many wonderful things about this place. Such a perfectly peaceful place with plenty to do: kayak, ride bikes, take saunas, rest on the large rocks by the beach or on the bench overlooking the huge lake and beautiful sunsets, reading a book next to open windows, listening to the waves. The only thing we regret about our trip there was not spending enough time at Stella’s Hideaway. Just a perfect place, and we hope to return again!

Keith was very helpful. We had a flat on the way up and he gave us information on finding a place to get the tire fixed quickly. The view was spectacular and the amenities were amazing. The first VRBO house that had absolutely everything we needed.

Agates, sunsets, yooperlites and polar plunge!

Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone knobbies. The teens loved the sauna and took their first Lake Superior polar plunge. We are already planning to stay again, we really loved the comfort of the home and it’s location. Thank you Keith for a great stay!

Enjoy beautiful sunsets, sandy beaches, and Lake Superior in its awesomeness! The house has a lot of space to accommodate a large family or group (enough beds for 15 people). The water to the house is supplied by an artesian well producing the purest natural water to every faucet. Large lawn for outdoor activities hidden away by the surrounding woods and lake.
