Beautiful 2 bedroom home, nestled on a quiet country street. Sleeps 5-6, a large bedroom with a queen bed, and a queen bed with full trundle bed in the smaller bedroom. A nice air-bed with extra bedding is available, if needed. Open kitchen/living area with new furniture, dining table, Smart TV with WiFi access. Fully furnished kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, outdoor propane grill. On-demand hot water heater for plenty of hot showers, large bathtub, washer/dryer; linens are provided. Large wrap-around porch. Fire pit for s’mores or cool evenings. Beautiful yard to watch the birds and deer. Trailer/RV parking available. Minutes away from premier hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling.

Many local activities include the Grand Encampment Museum (a must see!), Winter Carnival, Woodchopper's Jamboree, Copper Days, Steinley Cup brewfest, WhatFest music festival, and many more. Home away from home

A quiet neighborhood and very clean place to stay. We were able to visit family and have a comfortable place to sleep.

Cimfort and with hummingbirds

Quiet spot on the edge of town, but close to food and major roads. Many birds. Very comfortable bedrooms. Easy, well appointed kitchen. Thoroughly comfortable.

Quiet location.

This property is quiet and peaceful. The deer and birds in the yard every morning were a nice thing to see. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay in small encampment

Communication was great! We had a storm to travel around and the property manager was great to work with and we were able to check in a day early! The house was perfect for a couple of guys to stay at while snowmobiling. Quiet neighborhood with deer to watch right out the window. Parking was a breeze even with a trailer. Will definitely be staying here again when the snow flys!!!

Absolute Serenity!

This is the first place I have stayed in that looked exactly as it did on the internet. The inside was also wonderful and so well maintained. We were so very pleased after trying for two years to get it booked. It exceeded our expectations, and the cabin has anything that you could possibly need. The owner's Mom, who lives near, was so sweet and friendly and had no problem with us arriving a little early. I will definitely return again if the chance ever comes up. We loved watching the deer and birds off of the back deck. They came every morning and evening.

Secluded location

Nice property, clean but smells of old cigarette smoke. Coffee with the yard deer and heard coyotes in the evening.

Ad said property on river. Never seen river. Property was in a subdivision, neighbors on both sides and in back. ad gave the impression of more isolation. Lovely well maintained, clean, comfortable. Problem with toilet overflowing, bathroom floor around toilet needs repair.

Great stay for outdoor summer family vacation

Family of four stayed here. The bunk beds were great for the kids 13 and 10. We were in the area for hiking and UTV trails. The property was clean and a good fit for us. We had deer right in the front yard. Encampment is a great little town. We had dinner at the Divide restaurant was very good. We stopped at the museum in town; it was amazing would recommend.

Perfect Spot for an Outdoor Getaway

If youre looking for a clean, spacious getaway in the heart of an ubundance of outdoor recreational opportunity, this is a great place to check out. The only negative was that the washer had broke very recently before our stay and we were without laundry amenities, but we were able to get things worked out to get us through the time there. The deck is great and the kitchen has plenty of room to handle meal prep if you chose to go that route. All in all this is a great place with a great host, highly recommended!

perfect for us

The house was very clean, quiet and accommodating. It was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the condiments, coffee and kleenex. It was relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the birds after a busy day of sightseeing and hiking. It is the perfect spot between two mountain ranges. We enjoyed watching the mule deer roam town in the evenings!

It’s a beautiful place to stay

The house is pretty much what you would expect in encampment. It is very comfortable and convenient and in a beautiful location. The only complaint that I have is the stale grease smell in the kitchen. I’m not sure how to get rid of it but it’s kind of rank.

First time in Wyoming

The location was perfect for both our trips trout fishing in the Saratoga Valley and hiking in the Snowy Range. Mother mule deer and fawn came by daily and the local marmot was also a frequent visitor. The only negative was when I heard heavy breathing and grunts coming through the window screen as I was sleeping. I shined my cellphone flashlight out the window and saw a large hairy black animal looking at me. Thought it was a big black bear but it turned out to be a neighbor's cow that got into the yard. I will admit it scared the begezzus out of me. LOL.

Snowmobile Trip 2024

Very pleasant place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet. Plenty of room for 2-3 trucks and trailers, if needed. Was some initial confusion about physical location of cabin, per google maps. Reached out to owner and received a quick response informing me of the proper location. Everything is up to date inside. They were kind enough to leave us some shovels so we could clear the deck when we got 6 inches of snow overnight in town. Only comments would be the following: 1. To have them add a longer pull cord to adjust the fan speed in the living room. 2. Have an exterior light added to the corner of the house where the driveway meets the steps to walk onto the deck. Other than that, this is by far the most up to date and comfortable place I have stayed at in Encampment over the last 25 years.
