IL CLUB DELLA TARTARUGA - Piscina, accesso al canale e barca

The Turtle Club è un rifugio accogliente nascosto nel villaggio di Avon. Il layout è su un unico livello, una storia, e è la metà di un duplex. Ha due grandi ponti coperti nella parte anteriore e posteriore, che sono l'ideale per la cattura di mattina / sera sole e offre un sacco di ombra nel bel mezzo della giornata. L'area comune dispone di un ampio soffitto cattedrale rifinito in legno tavolato, e comprende la cucina e zona aperta. C'è un camino a legna, un angolo bar e una moderna cucina completamente attrezzata con bar dell'isola mangia-in prima colazione con 10 sedie. Su entrambi i lati della sala comune sono due camere da letto che sono uniti da un bagno completo e un mezzo bagno al largo della zona giorno. Ciascuna delle quattro camere da letto ha una porta scorrevole in vetro uno dei due ponti coperti.

Caratteristiche uniche della posizione:
- Una piscina condivisa è a pochi passi dal ponte anteriore, è condivisa dalla gente che soggiorna nell'altro duplex (per la maggior parte è la piscina privata).
- L'azione sport acquatici attende proprio fuori dalla tua porta dato che il Turtle Club si trova nel complesso Kite Club Hatteras, il che significa che le lezioni di kiteboarding e stand up paddleboard partono ogni giorno dalle banchine.
- I lunghi bacini sul canale sono perfetti per pescare, fissare e attaccare la tua barca e c'è una stazione per la pulizia del pesce sul molo più piccolo.
- Grande grill a gas nella veranda sul retro.
- Doccia all'aperto e lavanderia sul portico anteriore.
- Scusa se non abbiamo il cavo, tuttavia sono disponibili collegamenti per laptop per lo streaming di programmi e film alla TV.
- Lenzuola e asciugamani da bagno sono forniti senza alcun costo aggiuntivo.
- Ci sforziamo anche di fornirti tutti gli utensili da cucina che avresti a casa tua.

North Carolina's Most RESTFUL Retreat

Turtle Club provided a cabin-like experience.). It's location feels like country while being close to beaches and shopping.

We had a wonderful stay

Our stay was incredible, 2 weeks of outstanding weather, the accommodations were great. We could not have picked a better place to stay. Melissa and Christo were incredible hosts right onsite and were attentive to our every need. Highly recommended for couples, or a large family. Thank you Melissa and Christo for making our vacation so wonderful.

Quite peaceful and relaxing

We enjoyed the Turtle club. It’s off the main road but close to everything you need. Beds were comfortable. Showers had good water pressure. Everything was clean. Outside shower was nice to have to wash off the sand. My son loved the pool.

Spacious inside and out

Nice open space. Loved the Jack and Jill setup on each side of the common area. The front and back porches were such a relaxing place to hang out. Comfortable chairs and swings. Owners were very friendly. Location was a nice walk to the marina, ocean, canal. Only problem was the Roku didn't work but we really didn't miss TV except for the playoff games.

Great place to stay!

We had a great time at the Turtle Club! The space is great--fits lots of people comfortably. The kitchen has what is needed, and sharp knives! Christo the host was very friendly. Only thing to note is the location--even though it is right in the heart of Avon, it is down two back roads--making it a pretty long walk to the beach. We had no trouble, with cars and bikes. That said, it's right on a lovely canal, and they even let us use a kayak! Go left out of the canal and you get out to the sound; go right and there's a nice, more natural canal with lots of birds to check out.

Mts. To the Sea

This property was perfect for the four of us. My husband and I along with our travel buddies loved the spacious house, large open concept of the kitchen and living room. Everything was provided in the kitchen. The deep porches were great for catching the breezes and enjoying happy hours as we overlooked the canal. The fact we were located in a nice neighborhood for walking was a plus. Didn’t take advantage of the pool or the kayak and paddle board as we were there the first week in November. We did make use of the grill and nearby restaurants. Would love to return next year in warmer weather to take advantage of the water!

Une belle maison de vacances

Maison parfaite pour des vacances. Tout sur un même étage. Peut être moins intéressant si vous souhaitez moins de promiscuité. Super intéressant avec la piscine creusée mais la maison (duplex) est dans un terrain éloigné de la route pas très attirant. Endroit calme et paisible que je recommande.

Relaxation and Adventure

Quite the memorable week at the Turtle Club in Avon. We weren't there to kitesurf but to have a family vacation with our three young kids. It was so nice. Different from the northern parts of the outer banks. We miss some of the fun stuff in the upper parts, but I love the laid-back vibe of Avon and Hatteras island. The waves were rough from the atlantic our week but we found a spot (Sandy Bay, ocean side) on Hatteras' south side where it was shallow enough that we could boogie board with the kids. We hit it up every day and did all sorts of interesting stuff to fill out the days. We visited a salt farm and an oyster farm, taking a boat out into the Pamlico sound. Great seafood everywhere and recommend orange blossom bakery, buxton munch, and the mad crabber, the latter has great seafood and vibe literally within walking distance of the place. Only thing I'd say negative about the place is the picture shows a king bed in one of the bedrooms and my wife and I were looking forward to claiming that as our bedroom but alas there was no king bed so we had to share a (full, i think? maybe queen), which wasn't the worst thing in the world but a notch down from the luxury we were expecting. That said, the place is great, we had plenty of room and comfort, and Christo and Melissa were awesome hosts! They live next door and are very helpful and genial. It's like they are your friendly neighbors. The Pamlico Sound surged up into the carport and surrounding areas during our final night there, as we got pelted with high winds in the wake of Hurricane Michael, which was kinda crazy, and a little bit scary at times, but all in all, it was a pretty cool and memorable experience. Christo knew exactly the right place to move our car to higher ground and kept watch during the wee hours while my family slept safe and sound up in the Turtle Club. It was fascinating to see nature at work and I think a lesson for the kids and something to not forget to top off our memorable fall break in Avon. Thanks!

Great place for families with young kids

We stayed the week before Labor Day with 4 adults and a 3yo and 7yo. Plenty of space, very comfortable, and the pool right outside the unit was a hit, as was the well-outfitted kitchen. We will definitely be booking again next time we come down to the Outer Banks.

MOST RELAXING TRIP WE'VE EVER BEEN ON

The turtle club is awesome! The duplex pictured here that we stayed in was very clean and had almost everything we needed to cook and run our daily lives with. They even had a toybox full of toys for my 2 year old daughter and my friend's 6 year old. It's extremely private and that's one of the main things that we loved. It has a pool which appears to be shared by 4 units. We were a little worried about that when we first pulled in because the pool is smaller, but, it ended up not being a problem at all. Each family pretty gave each other the space to enjoy the pool and it was extremely refreshing! We had a lot of fun in that little pool alone! This was such a chill vacation. Every other vacation we've had we are rushing to get here and there and do excursions but this was it for us. we look forward to coming back next year! If I had to critique one thing it would be the beds...Not very comfortable, all of the adults had an issue sleeping on them. and it sounds like it has Grandmas 1970's plastic covering them. Overall, awesome stay!!!!

Convenient location yet secluded.

Great service from the owners. The house was clean and quiet. Nice clean pool, steps away from the house. You can swing on the front porch and watch the kids in the pool. Plenty of parking. Enjoyable stay!

Great place!

Great Place to bring the family .

I’ve stayed on the OBX before but my family really love it this time . The house is on the perfect spot to relax and still close to the action . Very clean well taken care of . Owners are very friendly and always there . We will be coming back next year . Thanks Christo and Melissa your house is awesome .

Excellent base for fishing charter

The property looks just like the pictures. It was clean down to the baseboards, and in superb condition. The location is tucked away, but very close to the main road, shopping, etc... Overall my group and I were very satisfied.

Nice place!

Loved it! We loved the pool, and the convinient location close to the beach and stores. It was close to everything but still secluded enough to be away from the crowds. Thanks Kristo!

Great place to stay

We stayed here over thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The home is well equipped and we would definitely stay again. It’s located on a canal and that is a nice way to access the water. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a great time. Thank you!

This is Melissa and Christo, we met in the Outer Banks while kiteboarding and began working towards making Hatteras our permanent home. Christo is a kiteboarding instructor and manages his own school: Kite Club Hatteras ) which will be right next door. We love surfing, stand up paddle boarding, kiting, biking around town, exploring the local art scene and cooking. We would love the opportunity to make your stay in the Outer Banks as special as possible.

We love that Avon has everything we need and it is all within biking distance: the Avon pier, grocery stores, restaurants, Club Koru’s events and catching beautiful sunrises or sunsets. It is situated perfectly between the Northern and Southern villages, so you can get everywhere else you would want to be on Hatteras Island in less than 30 minutes.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Our location back in the village is one of the most secluded and laid back areas in Avon, more of an old fishing village feel, even some really cool old abandoned houses right around our property. It is set back in Avon Village where the sounds of nature crowd out the sounds of highway 12, yet it is still within walking or easy biking distance to the food, shopping and entertainment. Although back on our road you'll be part of the Kite Club Hatteras community, which means kiting, stand up paddle boarding and interesting people to meet as well.
