About this property
Hollywood-Mid-Wilshire-Beverly Apt. Near CBS-TV City, the Grove, Farmers' Market
Quiet, private, furnished, first-floor, mid-'20s, flapper-era, Spanish-style bedroom villa--with its own conventional front door, unique street address and mailbox. An entire-house apartment w/own entryway for long & short-term working or leisure stays. Only five blocks to mid-Wilshire area (offices & museums, e.g., LACMA, Petersen Auto, LA Craft & Folk Art Museum) and, equally down Beverly, CBS TV Studios, the Grove, Farmers' Market, Pan Pacific Park, the Fairfax District and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. (NOTE: Wish to stay one month? Inquire as to a *31*-night stay to avoid LA's $300-plus bed tax).
Five minute drive to Beverly Hills; 3-bls to Pan Pacific Park (fitness-recreation); CBS-TV City (HBO shows' studio); The Grove (shopping); Farmer's Market (ethnic food-showbiz hangout); markets such as Ralph's, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Erewhon. Personal, private front door, mailbox and unique address; off the living room, a fully private outdoor dining patio; off the kitchen, a personal laundry with full-size separate washer and dryer. Features renovated kitchen and bathroom. Equidistant from mid-Wilshire, Miracle Mile, Beverly Blvd., Melrose Ave., Fairfax Ave. districts. Walkable to landmarks like the Grove, Farmer's Market, CBS-TV City, Pan Pacific Park, even Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (please search those terms to learn more about the immediate area, which is on Hollywood's southwest border, and is also known as Mid-City West).
In addition to enjoying apartment's own, exclusive front door, street address and mailbox, you will receive a permit for City of L.A. street parking, which is available directly in front of the house. Off the living room, there is a large, front-facing, fully private, tree-hedged, paver-stone patio (good for open-air dining). Apartment is updated with new paint, hardwood floors; fully-equipped, sunny, eat-in kitchen; a laundry-room with full-size washer-dryer separates; again, the new patio, with 9-foot umbrella (and again, it's great for al fresco dining, entertaining); a walk-in closet; an Italian queen-sized bed with French linens; a new 42" LCD TV with DirectTV (cable includes movie channels); a custom cream-colored wicker rocker; a blonde-wood rocker with white-cotton cushion; a long desk, desk chair, generous shelving, and a robust and reliable WiFi system. Five- to 15-min. trip to famous sites such as Universal Studios Hollywood, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Hollywood Bl. & Vine St. Also a short walk to funky and/or elegant shops/eateries on Melrose Ave., Beverly and La Brea Blvds. Your short five-minute walk to the Grove or Farmer's Market will be highly rewarding (adjacent to the Grove, Farmer's Market is a casual showbiz meeting place with produce stands and ethnic food stalls). It's a short walk, too, to other high-end cafes/shops, offering kosher and ethnic cuisine. Or for foods to prepare or ready-to-eat meals to take away, walk to close-by (again) Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Erewhon, and Ralph's foodstores. Take two-block walk to Pan Pacific Park with its hiking trails, Holocaust museum, free fitness center and adult pool. Need health care or emergency help? It's only a five-minute, two-mile car trip to Cedars-Sinai Hospital & Medical Center. A car is not essential due both to the central location and public transit nearby at Gardner/Beverly (connects notably to Metro subway station at Vermont/Beverly). But if a car is still desired, nearest Hertz Rent-a-Car office is a 12 min. walk away (.6 mi); nearest Enterprise Rent-a-Car office is a 13 min. walk away (.7 mi). Zip car station is also nearby.
