Great place to stay on the beach

This property does not have the most up to date finishes but don’t let that stop you from staying. It was very comfortable and had everything we need for a nice, relaxing week at the beach. The bed is very comfortable which is so hard to find. We enjoyed the big, walk in shower in the master bathroom. It actually had good water pressure. The balcony is large and the outdoor furniture was comfortable. We love Tradewinds overall. We have stayed at this property before. It’s a smaller complex and a lot more quiet than some of the others. It’s always clean and people are friendly. There is also enough parking so you don’t have to worry about not finding a spot.

In one word, "Perfect"

Our family had such a great time at Orange Beach and this condo was amazing. The unit was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was nice and updated, we cooked daily in the unit. The pool was great, we spent more time at the indoor pool because the weather wasn't top notch but we still found time to go to the beach everyday. Everyone is so nice at the condo and in town, plenty of great placed to eat. I can't say enough good things about the trip, simply it was perfect! We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!

END OF SUMMER

Our trip was End of Summer, but this condo should be listed as End of Life! It had that musty, been closed up for a long time, smell! The patio furniture was very uncomfortable. The linens were thin & scratchy like something you would expect from a cheap motel. The rug in the living room was filthy & needed to be thrown out! The items in the laundry room meant for beach use were rusted, rotten, & full of sand like they had just been thrown in there & never looked at again by anyone. On a positive note, the appliances were nice & new & VERY large. Spending time in the kitchen is just not my thing when I'm on vacation. As for the Tidewater complex as a whole, I hope they will take some time in the off season to do some cleaning & fixing up. Many of the tiles were missing around the pool. The furniture at the pool area was ugly & very uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

Just like the description

We were able to check in an hour early. The host communicated the information on how to acess the property well in advance. He was in close communication with us and offered to assist us if we needed anything. Upon arriving the condo was CLEAN, which is really the main thing everyone wants. There were plenty of towels and two laundry detergent packs. We washed towels once during our five night stay. Kitchen was stocked with anything someone might need to cook and serve a meal with plenty of plates and bowls and silverware and utensils. The refridgerator was large and CLEAN with ample freezer space. Blender, toaster, pod coffee machine and drip coffee machine. There happened to be two beach chairs and a beach umbrella in the laundry room closet but we did not use them since we had our own. Sand toys were also in the laundry room. Twin beds in the guest room was great for my teens. KING bed in the master was a nice treat for a rental. Two full baths meant we could get ready without fighting for space. Very spacious balcony with table and four chairs for dining and two tall chairs and tall table for sitting with drinks. We used two out of the three TVs and they had DirecTV that worked just fine. Internet was easily accessible and had no issues.Conveniently located to restuarants and shopping. We walked across the street twice for dinners at two different resturants and ice cream. Kids walked to Coastal via the beach for food and drinks. We would rent again and recommend!!!!

Overdue getaway to a favorite place!

Wonderful condo with excellent communication from owners. Kitchen was fully stocked(much appreciated) along with every other detail well tended. Very clean and nicely decorated unit. Check in was the easiest method ever. The Tidewater complex was a wonderful small/mid size to enjoy instead of the larger complexes. We would definitely return to this unit as the owners have created such a wonderful experience for guests of all ages.

We had a great time. The Tidewater condo is sandwiched between two very tall buildings. You are on it before you realize it. With heavy traffic it can be very difficult pulling in. Needs better signage from the road.

Senior Spring Break 2022

Family vacation for Spring Break. Couldn’t have asked for a better place! Close to restaurants and shopping. The beach wasn’t too crowded and we saw dolphins, ghost crab and stingray right in front of the Condo. Highly recommend for families!!!

This condo was in a great location and the complex was not so large that the beaches are over crowded. It was perfect for my daughters, granddaughter and me. If only the rain had stayed away!

Great 4th of July

Love the Tidewater. Third time to stay at this property. Steve the property manager was great! We even got locked out accidentally and had to text him and he super quickly responded. Perfect location, in the heart of OBA. Parking is good, the condo was clean, everything was great!
