The property was lovely! I stayed Friday through Sunday. Parking on the street was easy, and the property was walking distance from the quarter, French market, and Jackson square. The neighborhood itself was quiet and there were local bars nearby for a more low key night. It was clean and comfortable. I liked the the door had a code making it easy to check in. Overall, it was the perfect place to stay the weekend!

Touro home stay
It’s was a mesirable stay upon arriving the unit we stayed in was no what the description stated. There was no stove no microwave, refrigerator and freezer didnt cool, the stairs was a accident waiting to happen not safe at all I have never been afraid to go up a pair of stairs in my life… reached out to owner and told him it was very false advertisement of his unit never stated that the unit was upstairs stairs are held up by bricks and partial of the stairs is broken. Hair was through the entire fireplace yuk.. he moved me to a down stairs unit where also was no stove but this one did have a microwave and working refrigerator had no choice but to stay cause my money was already spent and of course it Marci grad everyone else was booked up…. Nope want stay again with him.. location was cool I can say and neighbors were nice street parking also good didn’t have to pay for that..
We had a great stay here! We were coming right after all the snow had hit and were worried we may not even be able to make it in town. He was very accommodating,
I have no clue why anyone would give this place a 5 star review!? I just don't have the time or patience to list all the things wrong with this "modern condo". It's just a run down converted house in a shady neighborhood. Please read ALL the reviews! Bring towels, sheets, extra pillows, silverware, drinking glasses, toilet paper...etc.
This box wont allow enough characters to tell about my whole visit, so I’ll have to simplify it the best I can. The key is located on the railing in an old crusty lockbox. To get to the unit you have to walk down a muddy and mossy uneven brick walkway, but don’t look at your feet because you’ll bang your head on a window ac unit. Once you climb the mossy slick stairs in the backyard you’ll get inside and at first glance it looks fine. The floorboards are loose and pop up when you’re walking, the oven is tilted forward so when you’re cooking it slides towards you, the coffee mugs were so cheap when my gf was pouring coffee from her cup into another the handle broke and cut her, also it splashed hot coffee on her and the counter. The only thing to clean it was an old stiff sponge. The sheets are cheap and ripped, the walls are unfinished, there’s only 2 thin pillows, the bricks on fireplace were crumbling and loose, there’s a low spot in the shower so you’re always standing in ice cold water. He only leaves 2 towels, and 2 washcloths and 1 roll of tp. Stay somewhere else. After the mug incident we attempted to contact the host and he didn’t respond in 24hrs.
I stayed over Thanksgiving and never had to move my car. It was street parking. I walked to Bourbon Street every day it took about 15 minutes to walk. The space felt safe, it was everything I needed and I think it was a great price point
Perfect location to walk to Bourbon Street and through French Quarter. We only was there to sleep. Bring own towels and pillows/blankets if you prefer, but there are all of those there. Parked right out front for free. Cool neighborhood, great people. It’s older but updated, Better than a hotel, you actually feel like you live here in New Orleans.
This little duplex was so cute. It was like all of new Orleans, an old house with charm! Not sure what other people were complaining about that the house was old... You're staying in New Orleans! The neighborhood isn't GREAT but the people are nice. It's about a 10 min walk from bourbon but right around the corner to Frenchmen. The bed albeit was a little broken on the legs but it was comfortable. Clean linens. We didn't use any of the dishware but there is a small coffee maker (bring your own coffee), there's a fridge, and the shower was hot and stayed hot. What more do you need? If you're not planning on staying a lot of time in the room this is a perfect place to stay. Free street parking, which is a plus because you have to pay EVERYWHERE you stay closer to bourbon St. Would stay here again.
The entrance to the room was located at the back of the house, accessible via a staircase that appeared to require some reinforcement. However, the room itself was cozy and inviting. During the day, we watched neighborhood children riding their bikes and playing in the streets, while neighbors cleaned outside their homes. I felt safe in the neighborhood, and we enjoyed walks to the French Market and along Bourbon Street both during the day and at midnight, without any fear. We Uber to locations areas, with our highest fare being just 10. Gaining access to the room and securing it was effortless. The check-in process was straightforward; upon our arrival, we received a message through the app with clear instructions on accessing the room.
My girlfriend and I stay here for about 5 nights. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We stayed here because it was a better value than a hotel in the area.
We, unfortunately only have to give this place a 4 star rating. There were minor things that can't be overlooked! Specifically the bathroom sink is not attached to the floor in the second itself. It's not attached to the i'm not closing pillar. We had to buy a new shell rod in current. Because the one that was there fell on my girlfriend's head.
In addition, we bought a basin and a dish rack and left it there for others to use.
People should know that it is on street parking. End a suit laundry situation.
With 3 different units. This location isn't very handicapped accessible, also, please be advised to bring your own bed linen and pillows
This charming place has everything you need and more. Its clean and beautiful i highly recommend staying here. We were very comfortable and safe.
If i could give it a 20-10 i would 🙂
Start off with the check in process. We didn’t get the information until 2 hrs before we got there and that is after we asked about it. When got there the room we were sent to had someone else things in it. Then when we given a different room it was not clean the floor had a layer of dirt on it, there was a big pale of hair in the bed, you can see through the door because of a crack along the side. The third and final place was clean but the fireplace bricks were falling out and instead of a table there was some creates and a pallet. We didn’t stay there at all we took a hit and got a hotel
First the all the access system was terrible, only having a phone made it impossible to gain access because you would have to go out of the app to get the code, then when you went back to the app it gave you another code. The host wasn't responding. it took 3 hours before gaining access which was about 11pm. If it had not been that late I would not have stayed the one night. The place was a dump, the wood floors swelled, you had to force the front door open, the wall over the bed had water bubbles, the entry door had a huge crack, you could see outside, rotten wood on the baseboards, the smoke detector was open with no battery in it, the fire places were falling apart, missing bricks, the bed frame needed repair, cheap and flimsy, walls and floors were poorly done, the backyard was a mess and the bathroom window didn't lock and the front door didn't lock properly. it was bad location, so I didn't feel comfortably staying there or leaving my belongings. I have photos of the place. I found a hotel and checked out the next morning. i would like a refund for the remaining 4 days.

Stove
In picture was a clean stove for cooking. Once arrived, there was nothing but a Burner, and a toaster. Wife and I made the most of it, and all was well!
