This luxurious 5300 sq ft house with 8 fabulous bedrooms (jacuzzi & sauna !) will make you feel right at home in the upscale Oakridge neighborhood of Vancouver. Tastefully furnished to the finest detail and absolutely perfect for family and friends to stay in spacious comfort. Designed with privacy in mind, each of the 4 upper bedrooms in our home are equipped with full ensuite washrooms. air conditioning (rare feature for Vancouver houses) .This will truly be your home away from home.

- Six gas burners plus griddle, a double subzero fridge, crisper & freezer, and three dishwashers

Everything we could have asked for and more

I stayed at this property over New Year's Eve 2021, and it surpassed all my expectations. I am originally from the UK but live in Canada, and stayed here with my partner's family and my family flying in from England. The property was big enough that everyone had their own room and space but not so big that it felt empty and there was plenty of room for everyone to eat and play games. Annie was helpful at every stage, responding to any questions within a matter of hours and doing her upmost to make the stay as seamless as possible. The only minor issue we faced was that with so many people we ran out of hot water every morning and some had to have a cold shower. However I relayed this back to Annie and she said she would get her technician to look into this right away. Overall an extremely positive experience, would 100% recommend staying her and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Room for many peeps!

We used the house for a business meeting and it worked great. Had 6 people attend and each had their own bathroom and bedroom. Fast response from the property manager as well!

Great place for a lot of people

The house was just it was advertised. It was clean with lots of room to move about. Each of our family members had their own room and bathroom on the upper floor which was a bonus. The kitchen area has a great space for gathering. Oversized frig was perfect for lots of food and we liked having 2 dishwashers for the large crowd. th neighborhood is beautiful and very inviting for our morning walks.

Large Family vacation

Our family with 3 generations stayed for a week at this lovely home. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were 19 of us and the space with the bedrooms was wonderful. My suggestion would be to have more single beds in the bedrooms along with the King beds because if small children want to sleep in the room with the parents there is no other bed. We blew up an air mattress in the master bedroom and also used the futon so the small children could be in the bedroom with the parents. The teens wanted to be together in one room but with one bed in most of the rooms only, we had to buy another air mattress. Yes, there is sleeping space for the number of people it says the house will hold but the bedroom configurations was difficult for our large group. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house is not far from grocery stores and anything else you would like to find. We would definitely stay here again if we come back. The kitchen was well stocked and the inside and outside areas were perfect. We loved the fact that the yard was walled in by beautiful hedges. The kids ran around outside and there was no worry of anyone running into the street. The hot tub was also a fun thing for everyone. There is a great outside eating area right off the main kitchen/dining/living room area so the kids ate outside most of the time. A basketball court outside by the kitchen was also a big hit. You definitely will have a great time if you decide to book this place for your family.

Just what we needed!

The Hudson House was chosen for our family (3 generations) to gather in one location for our granddaughter’s wedding. The first criteria was wheelchair accessibility - from front entrance to main floor to backyard. Second criteria was room for everyone. The lower level had space and privacy for the youngest generation, the top floor with 4 bedrooms accommodated the second generation and the main floor was great for seniors and wheelchair… or anyone. There was ample space for everyone to gather in the family area and kitchen with formal dining just steps around the corner. Extra supplies were provided in storage areas. The backyard was well used from basketball to hot tub to outdoor meals. It was a great area to host a large family gathering. We pre-ordered our groceries which were delivered within 2 hours of our arrival - very convenient. Location was great as was the access to amenities. The response time from the host was good and always helpful. One suggestion - check the carpeting in the master bedroom. Thank you Hudson House for meeting our needs and helping us create fond memories.

Family birthday bash

Hudson House was perfectly suited to our needs… clean and spacious, and well stocked with paper goods needed. The hosts were very accommodating about an early check in which helped us immensely. Hot tub was ready for use and enjoyed. The kids enjoyed the patio during down time. A great home base from which to both collect family from the airport, and to explore Vancouver! Thank you!!

Stellar property!!!

This property is wonderful! Very well stocked, exactly as described and the owners were great to respond with. We didn't have any issues at all and in fact the owners made sure we had everything we needed! The hut tub was marvellous ... everything was really great. 5 STAR HOST. Thank you for a great stay and look forward to returning again.

Fabulous weekend in Vancouver

We come to the city often. Sometimes just as a couple, sometimes with the kids, and once a year, we have a gathering of 20 people where we plan out restaurants, events, exhibits to visit, parks to bicycle in. And we all hang out at the house. It’s a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of free parking. The house is spectacular. Plenty of comfortable beds. Spectacular kitchen for cooking.

Family celebration

We had a party of 16 stay at the Hudson House for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and it was the perfect place for a large family gathering. Annie and Lynn were very responsive before and during our stay for any of our questions. Moreover, the property was nice and clean upon arrival with very clear instructions. The kitchen is nicely furnished with everything you need to cook or eat in. The house does feel like it’s a rental as there were a few light fixtures that were loose or bulbs that needed replacement, but understandable given the size. Note that there is only one television in the entire home without cable so if you need to keep little ones entertained, that can be a bit difficult. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Very nice, big, home!

Group of 9 co-workers traveled to Vancouver for work. Very nice, big, home for everyone to have their own space to sleep. Kitchen is very nice to spread out and enjoy a meal. Can't wait to come back!

Great stay

The home was very welcoming. We were family group of 17 and disembarked from cruise early morning. The owner was kind and helpful to allow keepnour bags at the home before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice and conveniently located.

Celebrating our 50th anniversary, we took our family of 19 to an Alaska cruise and stayed at the Hudson House for 4 nights before the cruise. Our family travels a lot together, it it really not easy for a big family like ours to find a clean, comfortable, friendly, convenient and safe place that we can all stay in one house. Hudson House is the perfect one. The house is big and roomy, everyone can get comfortable sleep arrangement. The decoration is tastefully done. The amenity is adequate. There is a big lovely kitchen and a very nice back, side and front yards for kids to play on. The hostess was warm and accommodate in each and every way. Truly a home away from home. Can not be pleased more!
