This place is very large.Wheelchair accessible lots of room for groups,parties huge backyard.Its very comfortable 4 bedroom,2 bath,2 living rooms,rec room/Bar.whole building right off of State Highway M-28 minutes from Pictured Rocks, Munising, Au train, Kewadin Casino,Foggy’s steakhouse/Bar,Xmas motorsports park. Right off the ORV trails. Enjoy the view of Lake Superior Grand Island and take in all the beautiful sunsets from the comfort of the living area. The large parking lot off of State Highway M-28 not only accommodates all size vehicles but also large vehicles hauling/pulling trailers.The outside has a fire pit and grill. This is a great place for family and friends that love all out door activities from snowmobiling, skiing, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming and going off road on an ATV/UTV.

Recent updates include all new log furniture, memory foam mattresses, bedding, linens, stainless steal kitchen appliances, new shower and vanity in the bathrooms.Each bedroom has a closet and TV with cable. WIFI is also available through out the building.The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook even the largest meals! The Master bedroom has an incredible view of Lake Superior Grand island.

You will be very comfortable staying here and will want to come back again.

Christmas in July

Great location and the accommodations were amazing. Only suggestion would be a book for how to work TVs for local stations and the fireplace. We had a great time! Your place is fantastic!!!!

Christmas in July

We had a blast hiking, fishing and swimming in the lake. Close to town but not too close. Enjoyed that people randomly pulled up to take pictures 😎

Snowmobile trip

Our group of snowmobilers stayed at “The North Pole”. It was very clean and great for us. Very accommodating and Dan was very responsive. I’d rent from Dan again! He was awesome. Very easy to reach trails and close to casino and gas station. Perfect location.

Great Iconic Spot to Vacation!

For those of us who grew up driving by this building it was a kick to stay there. It’s been nicely updated on the second floor to accommodate a group of 5 or 6 single adults comfortably. Close to Munising and Marquette it’s a perfect location for exploring all that the UP has to offer. Dan was very good to work with and he responded immediately when we had questions about the WiFi/TV service.

Great place for our group

We came to Christmas to ride side by sides on the trails. This house is in a great location to reach the trails, and the large entrance makes it easy to store bulky clothing if you are riding in colder weather. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the living space felt cozy! We will return!

Fun Location

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Super cute and clean, convenient location to Munising. Had fun with all the Christmas decor! Only minor complaint is there’s no lamps or night stands next to the beds in 2 of the bedrooms. But this was minor, would still definitely stay here again.

Quirky place that my family thought was so much fun

The property is exactly as pictured. My husband and son just loved it. It is on a main roadway, which makes it kind of noisy, but the same time it is very convenient to get to everything in both Christmas and Munising. There are fans in the rooms, so we just turned the fan on for some white noise and slept just fine. The beds are very comfortable.

Wonderful place - close to Munising!

This place is wonderful! It was SUPER clean and very well stocked. There was an abundance of nice towels :) We stayed for several days and found it to be very spacious and a great location. Yes, you do have people stopping by to take a picture with the large Santa, but they can't see you upstairs. It was nice having two bathrooms. Would definitely stay again. Dan was a great host as well!

Great spot in the UP!

The place is awesome - right off the main road, very nicely furnished, comfortable beds and plenty of space!! Close to Munising as well, with the casino and Duck Pond within walking distance!! Totally recommend for a weekend up North!
