Modern Hideaway 10 Minute Walk to Downtown Asheville / South Slope
The Crows Nest 2.0 is a green home built in 2018 that was designed to provide a private and comfortable getaway space in the lower portion of our home for guest of all backgrounds. This space has a private entrance to come and go with ease. Guests have access to the entire lower suite of the house. Energy efficiency and modern features allow our guests to make the most of their experience in Asheville and the surrounding areas while treading lightly on the environment and local resources.
Justin and Autum live and work upstairs. Both are professionals in the community and deeply involved in the outdoor recreation, health/wellness and music community and happy to share their tips and suggestions with guests.
Your space is a private lower-level section of the house with a private entrance. It includes two bedrooms with queen beds, a 14 x 20 main room, and ceiling fans in each room. One room has a closet for storage, while the other has easy access to the bathroom.
A full private bathroom stocked with TP, shampoo, soap, a hairdryer, and fresh towels.
The guest living space includes a big comfy sectional couch and an HD projector for a cinematic experience. Enjoy your favorite music, movies, and shows via Apple TV, which provides access to Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and Amazon apps. And games galore!
The beverage/breakfast bar has coffee, tea, water, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, a microwave, a mini fridge, and snacks to get your day going.
Bike, kayak, and S.U.P. storage are available upon request. We also have a Mountain Bike washing station available and can provide maps of Pisgah for all our guests.
We have two dogs, Cedar & Willo, who may bark from our space above when you arrive. They do not have access to the hosting space while guests are staying.

Justin and Autum are professionals in the community and deeply involved in the outdoor recreation, health / wellness and music community. They have a wealth of knowledge on what to do around Asheville and love to share their "do not miss" trails, restaurants, waterfalls and breweries.
Justin is a local Realtor, pro mountain biker, stand up paddle boarder, DJ and all around outdoor enthusiast. In the ten years he's called Asheville home, he's ridden/hiked or raced every trail within an hour's drive and floated the French Broad from Brevard to Hot Springs, NC. With ten years of experience as a full time real estate broker his knowledge of downtown and the surrounding areas runs deep. And as a beer and food lover, he's happy to share where to get the best IPA, slice of pizza or fine dining experience.
Autum is the expert in health & wellness options around town and is an acupuncturst and yoga instructor and has taught or practiced at Asheville top yoga studios and she both practices acupuncture and has taught classes at local massage schools.

I spent the next 2 years designing the home and construction took over a year.
