Loved staying here! Kitchen had what we needed to cook a few meals and we loved the outdoor space. Can't beat that view!! Thank you for an amazing weekend!
Overall we had a great stay in an outstanding location (can’t beat it). The house is nice and although the furniture had been moved around it was still nice to stay. Biggest problem was cleanliness. The house itself always ok clean, but it was clear and obvious the bed sheets were reused and not washed from the previous guest. The property management took two days to answer our call and it took another two days for them to send new sheets. By then we had run to Walmart to buy our own. There is no professional cleaning company and no washer dryer so this was a big issues for us. Otherwise I would totally recommend this place
The four of us had a wonderful week using this house as our base while exploring the Tucson area. Large windows throughout the main room look over Tucson to the mountains , which provides marvelous views!
As hikers, we appreciated the trailhead into Saguaro national park just a five minute walk from the house. These trails go to beautiful areas filled with a perfusion of cacti and beautiful views.
The house and the location could not be beat, and the owners were great answering any questions we had very promptly. The house could definitely use some updating and a few minor fixes, but it was still great over-all. If you are looking for a house in a beautiful spot with incredible valley views, I would highly recommend you rent this one!
We loved our stay! The house was well equipped- new outside dining table, coffee filters, coffee, tea, spices, pots, pans, lots of towels & toilet paper. They even gave us a case of water in the fridge for our stay. Views are amazing and nice hiking trails right around the house. Owners were great to deal with and everything went well. Highly recommend the house!
This is truly a beautiful location overlooking Tucson! We arrived a little early, so the owners were still there getting everything ready. They are very nice people, and we enjoyed hearing about the area and a little history about Tucson. The outdoor areas of this home are wonderful, the views, the wildlife, the Saguaro wilderness are stunning! The only reason for not giving five stars is the inside comfort. The furniture is very uncomfortable and the recliner is broken when leaning back. Note also that there is only one TV in the home with very limited service and there is no washer and dryer available. Overall it's a great place, especially if you spend most of your time outdoors.
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving “quarantine” in sunny Tucson and just loved being so close to the hills. It was quiet and the sunrise from the porch was stunning each morning. We took advantage of our proximity to Mt. Wassan and climbed to the summit one of our days. We had our groceries delivered and cooked every meal in the house.
We were surprised that the internet was quite slow; while we didn’t need cable TV (which this property doesn’t have) we did plan on internet to stream entertainment and work a little. In addition the property is much closer to the road and the neighbors property than we thought based on the pictures and the acreage of the property (which is listed at 13 acres). The kitchen is limited in bakeware and other cooking gadgets/tools but we made do. Finally guests should know beforehand that there is no washer/dryer on site. Since we weren’t planning to go out we just decided to wear dirty clothes most of the time:))
Overall it was a nice change of scenery for us!
This property is set in the hills outside of Tucson. Amazing 240 degree views of the desert from the living room and the covered terrace beyond. At night, the city of Tucson glitters in the distance. Easy access to Tucson sights and restaurants. House set apart from others, giving a feeling of total privacy. A great way to experience desert living.

Serenity
The serenity and comfort of Don's home was the kicker on another wonderful stay in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. The views and landscape were exactly what we were looking for, and Don and his wife are the most gracious host's and genuinely wonderful people. Highly recommend considering their property if you're headed to Tucson......we can't wait until next year!

Quiet area, great views
Lovely views of the city and mountains, surrounded by Saguaro cacti. About 20-25 minutes drive to downtown and a very short walk to a trailhead for hiking. Beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Setting
Spectacular views! We sat and drank coffee in the morning and watched deer play on the hill across the road and hot air balloons drift over the valley. A hiking path into the Saguaro National park just down the road. The house was comfortable and suited our needs.

Wonderful views
This property has wonderful views, and despite being next to the road is peaceful and quiet. It is nicely located near a trail head, you can see the parking lot from the property. The owners are nice and helpful. This home was less clean than others we have rented and the network connection was barely sufficient to load a webpage. We enjoyed our week long stay.
