Lookout Lodge at Pretty Beach Heath Lodgers

Lookout Lodge is a romantic cabin at Heath Lodgers holiday house perfectly situated for a special getaway. Pretty Beach is just that and more with Killcare, Hardys Bay and Wagstaffe all in walking distance. However, the cabin has all you need for a relaxing weekend with your partner without having to go anywhere. A comfy queen bed with views over the water to Wagstaffe, ensuite bathroom, a wardrobe, and dining table with chairs. There is also a kitchenette with tea & coffee making facilities, a toaster, a mini fridge and microwave.
If you don t like sitting on the deck watching the birds in the garden below as the sun goes down, there is also a television to keep you amused.
Lookout Lodge has a ceiling fan and air conditioning too.

Great place

Lovely place, clever use of the space, has everything you need. View from balcony/deck is amazing and the sunsets are stunning. Nice shady walking trail accessed directly from the property’s steps. Heidi was there to welcome us and show us how to get down to the water from the property. We’ll be back!

A hidden gem by the bay

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint lodge, tucked away in a serene location with relaxing views of the bay. The property is very dog-friendly and fully fenced - with and direct access to the water. This hidden gem was an ideal spot for some much-needed downtime. Our host, Heidi was very warm and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed, from equipment to toiletries. The lodge itself was spotless and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. We can’t wait to return for our next getaway!

Anniversary weekend

Beautiful view from the balcony where we read and relaxed. Lovely garden surrounding cottage. A great base to explore Bouddi NP. For a small, quiet community there are a selection of places to eat and replenish supplies. Lovely weekend away.

The place was great, everything provided was so convenient and appreciated. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing, close dog friendly walks, cafe's and the dog beach was amazing.

If only we could stay longer.......

2nd time staying at the property. Once again had a great time, and wished we had a longer booking. My only suggestion for improvement would be a slightly larger table on the outside deck, as this is a perfect location to enjoy a meal (which we did), but the small table made 2 plates and wine a bit tight. Will definitely look at staying again in future. Thanks to our host Heidi for such an enjoyable short break

After a long drive, this adorable little beach side community had everything we needed for a well earned rest for both us and was super dog friendly. Heidi was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed.

Central coast hideaway

If you want to be close to beaches and the water but don’t need a huge amount of space then this little studio will suit a couple perfectly. Water views, easy access to local cafes and a short drive to the beach or ferry to palm beach make this a great base to launch a romantic weekend from.

1970s catchup

A beautiful little cabin, well set up. We only used it as a base for operations as we spent most of the weekend with friends at their nearby home. Cabin amenities would be ideal even in unfavorable weather. Great to sit out on the verandah in the morning for a coffee and a relaxing read. Short walk to Pretty Beach, not far to local village shops, nice drive into Gosford.

Pretty Beach should be called discovery beach.

This is a very nice cottage for a long weekend or mid week break, with a beautifull outlook over the water. Heidi was an exceptional host who made us feel very welcome and ensured all was good for us. The cottage is an excellent staging point to discover all that is around Pretty Beach, especially the hike out to Box Head, very worth doing.

Relaxing getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lookout Lodge. The accommodation had everything we might need and was very comfortable. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds and to sit on the balcony enjoying the view. Hardy's Bay provided a club and a bistro that were great. Our host was incredible. We only regret not being able to stay longer.

Great location - friendly community

Heidi was really lovely and showed us around the property. The property was very clean and easy to find. The location was amazing, right on the water and the edge of a dog walking track. On the opposite site of the bay there is a 4km stretch of dog friendly beach (putty beach). The restaurants in the area had amazing food, and the people are very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend if you have small to medium dogs you’d like to take with you on holiday.

Perfect little coastal getaway

A cute little lodge in a great location. Absolutely loved the off lead walking track for our dog, right in front of the property and being able to walk to Killcare shops for cafes and restaurants. Recommend as a great weekend away

Perfect cabin with contained garden for your dog

Such a nice and secure location for your dog. Area is very dog friendly with an off leash dog walking section to walk to Hardy Bay. Nearby Putty Beach also dog friendly in parts. The cabin was cosy with a handy kitchenette and outlook to Pretty Bay. Very quiet area. Heidi is a very helpful host
