Our family is lucky to offer you this beautifully remodeled queen anne victorian home that is on the quietest block in urban Denver. The home, built in 1893 has all the old world charm with the modern conveniences you will need. It boasts gorgeous crown molding, ten foot ceilings, a gas fireplace, italian oak stairway, skylights, original leaded glass windows and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There are four balconies and a 2 ½ car garage which is very rare in this urban setting. This 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home is perfect for business or pleasure.

Wonderful home in fantastic location!

A lovely, comfy retreat in a fantastic location. Check-in was a breeze, it was great to have access to garage parking, and the house itself is so homey and was super clean! We loved the architectural details and wished the weather had been better so we could have walked the neighborhood more & enjoyed the back yard. Everything we could need in the kitchen was available. We would definitely stay again at this wonderful house!

Family Thanksgiving in Denver

This was a perfect location for our time with my daughter in Denver. The Baker neighborhood is quiet and charming but close to restaurants and city activities. This is a beautiful old home with so much charm and character.

Beautiful home

What a great place! The house was so fun, beautifully decorated for the period and was spotless (and I am picky). All the amenities were well thought out, from coffee to spices if needed. The area was awesome, on a quiet tree lined street, but just steps away from downtown to walk to great bars and restaurants. Made our first trip to Denver a blast.

Very pretty and well-maintained home.

Upon entry, one is impressed with how beautiful the home is. Sharie is a very responsive and friendly property manager if the renter has any questions. This was my second time renting this property and if the occasion arises, I would rent it again.

Friends weekend

My friends from college and I stayed at Sharie's for the weekend. It's a beautiful home in a neighborhood of other Victorian homes close to everything we needed (e.g. grocery store) and wanted to do (Denver Art Museum). It's walking distance to restaurants. It was a very hot weekend so it was great that the main areas of the downstairs were nice and cool. The house itself had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed hanging out on the back deck in the morning and evenings when it cooled down outside.

Perfect

This property was perfect for three adult friends and two teenagers. The keyless entry was seemless as everyone arrived at different times. The ability to walk to shops and restaurants was awesome. We parked in the garage easily, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Sharie the host was super nice and easy to communicate with. We had a great stay at the Baker house! Thank you!

A wonderful stay...

This is a charming, updated, older home. The accomodations were welcoming and very comfortable for our weeklong stay, and exceptionally well stocked for a rental property. We truly felt like guests in our host's home. Loved having our breakfasts outside on the back porch on cool, quiet mornings. The neighborhood is a similar mix of older homes that felt very safe and nearby SoBo with its restaurants and bars was a very short walk away. Even found a vintage record store, a personal weakness of mine. Location was great, a short Uber ride to multiple in town destinations, we left our car in the garage unless we were leaving the Denver area. Would not hesitate to recommend, or return, if our travels take us back to Denver. Thanks.

Great little house near downtown

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights with our two young children (4 & 7). This was a location that is surprisingly quiet given its proximity to S Broadway. Good proximity to the 25, downtown, and lots of restaurants. The house is well appointed. It can get a little warm upstairs, but there are fans to use and Denver cools down pretty well at night. Kitchen has everything you need though we didn’t use it much. Decent yard and a 2 car garage though you can only fit one car in it. Note that we rented a Camry and it fit with maybe 6-8 inches to spare length-wise. Larger vehicles might have an issue. People will park on the street in front of the house so there some non-local traffic. The up side is that you get to watch people try to parallel park. Overall, we were happy with the house and our hosts. My kids were sad to leave, but we know where to stay the next time we visit Denver.

Beautiful House in wonderful area

The house was very roomy for all of use, the house was big enough not to run into each. Well maintained loved the 2 car garage, short walk into the downtown area with many shops and eateries. Would love to stay here the next time I'm in Denver, no regrets. The host was very response every time I asked questions host would get back to me in a short time, just loved it.

Family Visit

We enjoyed our stay in your beautifully restored home. We had everything we needed. The neighborhood is very interesting and we enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants. We had one car in the garage and another parked on the street with the permit provided for us. In spite of this we did receive a ticket on our last night even though we were parked legally and the permit was displayed. (?) Communication with the owner and property manager was easy. Both were very helpful. One little thing that would be helpful for people staying with babies would be a pack of plug covers for the many outlets along the floor boards. We realize unless you had a crawling baby you would not think about this. We would definitely recommend this propoerty.

Perfect Weekend

We came to Denver for a weekend getaway and were extremely happy with the home. Just enough space for privacy and áreas to spend time together while also allowing for privacy. Such a charming historic home. The stained glass windows were my favorite. We lived being walking distance from cafés and restaurants as well as a short drive from so many other attractions in Denver.
