Great Getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying here! It is the perfect location, so close to the beach and near the bridge so we you can get into downtown. The host provided everything we needed and communicated very well! We will definitely be recommending and visiting again!

We absolutely loved the Penthouse. Beach is literally steps from the door....the views and sounds of the waves absolutely peaceful. The owners extremely attentive and timely with any questions. A little welcome coffee, water, coupons, and free local attraction tickets with a personalized note was so surprisingly nice touch. We WILL recommend to our friends and family and we WILL be back in the very near future. They had everything we needed right in the Suite.

Vilano Beach Stay

The location of this apartment couldn't be better if you love a quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach! We could hear the waves from our room and loved it. The apartment was clean but somewhat dated. Our host was a great communicator.

Vilano beach stay

Love love the quaintness of the area. Walked down the cute path every morning for the magnificent sunrise-you can also see it from our room but add the sand below your feet and the ocean mist hitting your face-it almost brought me to tears the first morning. Healing. Close to all sorts of cool history and things to do. Great great location. The absolutely only negative thing I would say is the mattress is too firm for me. And the mini kitchen sink stopper needs a good scrubbing-water pressure for the shower is poor. Those are not big deals at all just something for the owners to be aware of and fix if possible.

Steps from the beach

Great little bungalow with beautiful views of the ocean. Convenient to stores, tennis court , restaurants and steps from the beach. The unit was immaculate and had a terrific mattress too.

We loved it. Very nice, convenient to get to the beach. comfortable bed. The bathroom REALLY needs a new faucet! We do plan on renting this unit again. Thank you.

Beautiful stay

We really enjoyed the beautiful view and non-crowded beach. The room was super clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well every night. We also appreciated the beach chairs and extra towels. We would absolutely stay here again if in St. Augustine.

The penthouse

Our stay at Vilano beach was wonderful. The area is quiet and not crowded at all on our part of the beach. The kitchen in the unit is really a kitchenette. This would be perfect for a 1 to 2 day stay but we were there for a week and a toaster would have been nice additi to prepare bagels or toast. The utensils were primarily used plastic utensils whiwhiI found unusual. My biggest problem was with check-in. We drove from Virginia and traveled through the night to avoid the 4th of July weekend day traffic. I notified the host, I-Trip Vacation, that we would be ariving early and that if at all possible we would like to check in early letting them know i was willing to pay extra. The unit was not rented the night before we were to arrive, so I was hoping it would already be cleaned. I was told to text first thing Saturday morning which I did. I was then told that it had not yet been inspected and potentially not cleaned. I was told that they would notify me when it was ready. At 3:15, i apologized for bothering them but wanted to know if the unit was ready. The response was "oh you should be all ready to check in". So it had been ready and no one notified us. I realize that check in was at 4 buatI also would think that there would have been some effort to get us in sooner. Anyway, we did meet the owner of the unit which was a joy She is a delightful woman with a wealth of knowledge about the area-even wrote a book about Vilano and North Beach which she gave us a copy of!

Vilano Beach retreat

Excellent correspondence with property manager. Perfect location for what I needed. Lots of steps to top but good exercise ☺️ Bed was super comfy. I did have a little trouble getting on raised bed but I am 66 and did manage. Enough towels were provided and I appreciated the free trolley tour I used. I would stay again. Thank you!

Awesome location

Great location steps away from the beach and conveniently close to anywhere near St. Augustine. If we knew we were going to imbibe, Uber was easily accessible.

Pure Peace

Seeing the Sun Set from the bed is the best and the Sun Sets are spectacular. From the short path to the beach and the Broadwalk under the bridge everything is within walking distance - Publiks, Parks, restaurants and bars. The Penthouse is Pure Peace.

A wonderful place to stay with a beautiful view!

We enjoyed a long New Years weekend at this beautiful third floor unit in Vilano Beach! The location is very convenient to St Augustine but much quieter. Everything you need is nearby and beautiful beaches only a short walk away. The unit itself was clean and well furnished. The bed was really nice as well! Communications were fast with all questions answered in a very timely manner. We are completely satisfied with our stay and plan to stay there again in the future!

weekend getaway

The loft was such a nice place to getaway for the weekend. The steep stairs were safer than I had imagined them to be. The morning views from the bed was just what I had expected to wake up to in the morning and was why we booked this location. There was a little kitchenette that we did not use but good to know for the future. And the location was perfect, close enough to St. Augustine that it wasn't a hassle but far enough that it was restful. This might just be our secret annual getaway.
