Questo allegro cottage offre un letto matrimoniale e un divano letto per dormire fino a una famiglia di 4 persone e un angolo cottura fornito. Puoi sentire i suoni rilassanti dell'oceano dalle tue finestre! A pochi passi dal tratto lungo sette miglia di ampia spiaggia sabbiosa e con il molo e la striscia principale proprio dietro l'angolo. Il posto è abbastanza lontano dall'azione per non disturbare, ma abbastanza vicino per raggiungere facilmente a piedi.

Angolo cottura completamente attrezzato con microonde, tostapane, macchina per il caffè, utensili da cucina e da mangiare. Frigorifero e piano cottura dimensioni angolo cottura. Perfetto per una vacanza in famiglia.

A Quiet Corner of Old Orchard Beach

This is a clean, well-maintained rental in a residential neighborhood, with a dedicated parking spot and fenced backyard area. There were ring-style cameras at the front and back entrances and secure locks on the doors The rental is located in a residential area, less than a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach. There is easy and reasonably-priced parking in the downtown area if you choose to drive, and there is also a trolley with a nearby stop. When we invariably locked ourselves out Chris was quick to respond via the Vrbo app. He touched base with us soon after booking, and several times before, during, and after our stay. All of the interactions were very friendly. Chris went out of his way to share some information about places for our family to ride bicycles (bring yours if you can, we definitely enjoyed having them!) and where to safely store them. The unit was well-cooled with air conditioning units both upstairs and down. As other reviewers have mentioned, the stairs to the bedroom are steep and slippery - be sure to not take the stairs in socks! If you’re traveling in a group, be aware there is no door to the bedroom area upstairs. This was a pet-friendly rental but it is preferred that pets stay off furniture/beds - be sure to bring your crate for when you head out and a sheet or blanket to keep things fur-free! Our family of two adults, a first-grader, and a small dog enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent from Chris and Sue again.

Overall very pleased: We had a situation outside of the host control, but they communicated and handled the issue immediately with our best interest in mind. Very thankful and would return and recommend.

Tranquillité

Petite maison chaleureuse, bien situé pour la tranquillité. Seule chose , si on avait eu de la place dans la voiture , on aurait aimé avoir un charriot pour amener nos choses à la plage. Même si la plage est seulement à 15 minutes de marche, le retour est plus pénible après une journée de soleil! Un charriot serait un plus dans les accessoires disponibles de la maison. Chris est un hôte très accommodant et répond rapidement aux questions. Séjour très agréable, nous retenons cette adresse pour une prochaine fois!

I have a hard time with your application. Everything was perfect. my quote is excellent on each of the above questions. Super neat appartment. Well located on a quiet street. the appartment was newly painted and well furnished. Nothing was missing. a big WOW. The host was communicating with us to make sure everything was ok. We really enjoyed our stay and if we go back to OOB next year, we surely rent this cottage.

Beach Cottage Near the Ocean

Great space attached to rental property. Cozy and quiet, easy to get in and out. Could use an upgrade on the pull out sofa for sure, but all in all a nice spot for a small family. Thanks for hosting!

Lovely place to visit

This was my first trip to Maine, and we stayed in Old Orchard beach. Our lodging was close to the beach, amusement park, restaurants, arcade and shopping. We even enjoyed a drive-in movie! Food was excellent and the people were friendly. Definitely a place I'd visit again.

Petit logement pratique et conviviale

Très bien pour une famille de 3 (2 adultes et 1 enfant). C'est confortable, tranquille et fonctionnel. Quand même bien situé, mais tout de même à une bonne distance de marche de la plage (15-20 min). C'est une bonne idée d'apporter des vélos. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et répondent rapidement aux questions. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre expérience et le recommandons sans hésiter.

Perfect, quiet location just minutes from the pier! Very cozy!

The host was very responsive and had a very easy check in process! Location was perfect and quiet yet very close to everything. We took advantage of the board games left out when the sun was a bit too hot!

Enjoy and Relax!

When you are done with the hustle and bustle of the beach and pier, it’s nice to go ‘home’ to a quiet neighborhood. Our dogs enjoyed the neighborhood walks and the fenced in yard. We appreciated the spacious living area, kitchen and the use of the grill. Communication with the owner was always friendly, professional and timely. We’ll worth the money !

Pleasant time

House was pleasant and process was easy. 3 critiques. One, linens are not included and you need to bring your own. That was made clear before visit but required extra packing. Two, the TV required more technical skill than we had to keep going consistently. Three, bedroom is up fairly steep steps and requires some dexterity to move around. This is difficult for guests of “a certain age” to navigate safely. We slept on the sofa couch to be safe. I think property is better suited for guests who are younger. Main floor was roomy and very well appointed. Whoever decorated has a nice eye. It was lovely. Owner was very responsive. Great property for the right guests.

We were only able to stay at this property for one night due to plumbing issues. The owner was extremely responsive -- checked out the issue right away and offered us an alternate property to use for the duration of our stay. Wasn't at this original property long enough to truly offer an opinion - but can attest that the owner is great to work with and his other property worked out very well for us.

Great cozy place very close to everything at OOB.

My son and I rented this house while at OOB visiting family. Super clean and quaint. Perfect for just the two of us. Close to everything, but far enough not to hear the train. The ac was a plus! Also, there is a great coffee shop right around the corner that we could walk to every morning.

Hi,

My name is Chris and I'm a Maine native born in Portland and grew up in Gorham, ME not too far from OOB. My wife, Sue, is from NH, but is fast becoming a big fan of Maine. We're pretty easy going and love sharing the great state of Maine with newcomers, especially those who have never been here before!

In our spare time we spend a lot of time with family and friends and love finding new adventures. Some of our favorite past times are enjoying the outdoors when it is warm, playing cribbage or taking our beloved Teddy to woods where he leaps like a gazelle with glee over brush and trees, or to the beach where he would give a greyhound a run for his money for hours!

I built houses with my dad when I was a kid. A handful of them were on Chebeague Island where we would stay in a tent often while we were putting up the frame out there. I learned a lot from him on how to do much of the work, so most of the place has been refurbished by myself, a layer of Sue's great eye for decorating, and some pros sprinkled in to try to make this place the best it possibly can offer.

I found this hidden gem back in 2017. The street is quiet, the neighbors are great, and there is so much to do in the area from the beach and pier, to the quick drive up to Portland, or down to Kittery. OOB is about as centrally located as you can get for the southern Maine coastline.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

When I found this place it had solid bones, but needed some serious TLC and I saw a lot of potential in it. It has taken me many years to refurbish this place to its former glory after what looked like a couple decades of neglect. I wanted to keep some of the OOB summer campish feel with the kitchen while balancing it with an ocean side, warm home feel.
