Absolute “Bliss”- (Perfect Happiness, Great Joy.) This is what you will be experiencing when you come and stay here! With views of the ocean and waterway from the front deck and a close beach access this home will be perfect for you. Absolute Bliss has had many exciting updates for you to see in 2025, like a beautifully updated kitchen, new appliances, ceiling beams and many more things!
This inverted home has 4 bedrooms with one bedroom being on the upper level and the rest on the lower level. The upper level features a very spacious fully loaded kitchen for all your cooking desires with a door that takes you onto a spacious screened in deck. A large dining area that seats up to 8 people. A cozy living area with an abundance of seating for family movie night with a Queen sleeper sofa (With sheets provided), sound system, HDTV, and expanded cable, all you are missing is the popcorn! A King bedroom with bathroom is also located in the upper level. Going down to the lower level you will see bedroom 2 with a Queen bed, and 3 & 4 with King beds. All bedrooms also include HDTV’s.
Don’t forget to bring your 4 legged friend along as this home is pet friendly with payment of pet fee. Head on down to the ground level and enjoy the large enclosed Hot/Cold outdoor shower/changing area and a picnic table. Pack your floaties and relax in the pool! With lots of space and chairs around the pool you can sunbathe practically anywhere! The beach access is located less than 5 minutes away. (Between 126 & 128 OBE). Come create “BLISS” and book today!

Bed Linens and Towels are provided for weekly rentals only.

Paper products such as paper towels and toilet paper are not supplied. Make sure to bring dishwashing and laundry detergent.

Our favorite beach

Holden Beach has become our favorite North Carolina beach. It is so much quieter, uncrowded, and peaceful compared with some of the better known ones (I'm talking about you, Outer Banks!). This is like a small town at the beach -- great combination. The surf here is typically much more gentle than in other locations. The inlet at the east end of the island is fantastic for beachcombing and playing in the shallow water. Absolute Bliss was a great house for us and our dog. Totally clean, plenty of room, beautifully set up. The ground level under the house was so convenient for dropping our beach stuff, using the outdoor shower. There were lots of toys, bikes, and supplies in the shed room, an unexpected bonus. We rode the bikes around the neighborhood -- safe, flat, no traffic, and fun. The walk to the beach is a few blocks, about 4 minutes. The neighborhood around Halstead Ave. is really pretty. I actually prefer this location set back a bit, so that you are away from the cars going up and down the main Ocean Blvd. From here you can also stroll a few minutes to the restaurants (Castaways, etc.), and the ice cream shop under the bridge. Great to do with the kids in the evening without having to get in the car! If you like to fish or try crabbing, you can also walk right to a little dock on the causeway that is literally 100 yards from the front door. The only way Absolute Bliss could be better for us would be if they could add a pool in the backyard. We left Saturday morning with daydreams about buying property here!

Enjoyed our visit

House was in a good location. Convenient to restaurants and close to beach and waterway. Kitchen well stocked. They shared chairs and bikes which was nice. Area was nice - good for walking/riding bikes. Loved the front porch and sunset views. Only thing we didn't like was that all the beds were very firm (we are used to mattress toppers). All in all, would definitely recommend the place to others.
