Extraordinaire!

Ça fait plusieurs fois que nous hébergeons à Waterpointe 1, 1ere fois à ce condo, dernière fois datait de 5aans et c’est encore plus propre et bien aménagé. L’endroit est magnifique, sécuritaire, bien équipé, près de tout (Barefoot Landing, Outlets, Épicerie,…)

Family Getaway

We were incredibly pleased with the property. Out of all properties we have stayed at in the past several years this one was our favorite. It is steps from the beach which was perfect my 74-year-old mother-in-law and carrying my 10 month old down to the beach every day. The check-in process was incredibly simple And the listing was even better than the pictures. I would absolutely recommend this listing for a family vacation. Lastly As silly as it may sound, one of my favorite amenities was the fact that we could all shower and not run out of hot water And the water pressure was great, which has not been the case at many other properties I have stayed at. Thank you for listing and allowing families to enjoy this perfect condo at the beach.

Good unit, terrible rental company

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself was clean and in a great location! The second parking lot needs some work but it's great to have that over flow lot option. Be ware of the rental company. On arrival day we requested an early check-in. The rental company said as soon as the unit cleaning was complete the packet would be in the lock box for pickup. We checked the lock box 2 hrs before check-in time and found the packet, retrieved it and headed to the unit only to find the cleaning lady, her husband & toddler still in the unit (specifically hanging out on the balcony). She stated they were complete and quickly left. Within 15 mins I received a call from a lady from the rental company, who screamed at me about going into the unit before the cleaning was completed and then continued to tell me I shouldn't rent from them again. So be ware of the rental company. Even if it's their fault they will blame you. They are extremely unprofessional.

The place was great. We had a great time. They keep everything top-notch clean their the pools, the bathroom, the lobby, the elevators. It was really kept up good and it was so clean the maintenance guy. There was very friendly and did an awesome job.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was a great place to stay for a week. The rental was a great place to stay for a week. Our only complaint was in regards to responding to maintenance request. We left messages about the dryer and one television on both Saturday and Sunday and actually talk to an individual about them on Monday. No action was taken the entire week.

Great location and friendly building maintenance/housekeeping

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location on the beach. Close to lots of attractions. The cleaning/maintenance staff for the building was terrific and the lobby/pool was always very clean and tidy. Our specific condo could use a bit more of a deep clean between guests. There were remnants of sand everywhere and under the furniture needed cleaned. The washing machine had black mold/mildew that we couldn't wipe off or clean off. Made using the washer a little gross. There were a few details (paint missing near the sliding door) that you noticed if you were being nit-picky. :-) The keypad on the door was a great feature and we didn't have to wait forever for the elevators. Overall, a good property with a great location and nice pools/hot tub.

NMB Summer Vacay

My son, wife and I have been coming to Windy Hill and specifically staying at WaterPoint 1 for several years and normally a few times a year and this vacation didn't disappoint. This unit had everything we needed for our two week stay and it was very clean and well decorated and the beds and furniture were all comfortable. We stay in this building because of the indoor and outdoor pool and the super easy access to Barefoot Landing, obviously the beach and so many amazing things to do and see in the North Myrtle Beach area. The management company was decent, they just weren't extremely responsive with one issue we had with the unit and I had to follow up with them after reaching out and letting them know vs. them following up with me. Fortunately the issue worked itself out without their intervention. Outside of that one issue, it was a great stay and I would certainly recommend this place, especially for families.

Beachside Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed the location of this condo. We were steps from the beach and pool with great access to Barefoot Landing and other places. The kitchen had lots of space and we enjoyed the keurig. One thing is that their wasn't a knife sharpener and that was a bit tricky with dull knives. The master bath towel rack was loose and couldn't hold more than one towel. We hung our towels around the room. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony seating and morning coffee views from it. The doors with the humidity were a little hard to move at times. We had 4 teens with us and sleeping arrangements were a bit tight in the first room. There isn't a lot of space but it works. I specifically liked how clean it was when we checked in. We will definitely return. Everything from check in to check out was easy.

2021 Family Vacation

We loved everything about it. Check in was easy. Very nice and quiet. Loved the washer and dryer and the homie feel of the place. BTW the grocery carts are so helpful to get stuff up to your room. Highly recommend .

Needs a remodel and DEEP cleaning

The kitchen, appliances, and living room furniture were fine. The rest of the condo is falling apart and needs a serious cleaning. The showers had mold along the tubs, the vents were coated in dust, and the beds were worn and extremely noisy (like cartoonish squeaking). The property management team - Southern Coast - were extremely unprofessional during my first phone interaction.

Overall great stay

The unit was perfect for what we needed! It’s decorated very well and the location is amazing. The only complaint is that I feel they need to work on some small upkeep items. For example, the bathroom door hinge needed some adjusting as the door was hanging uneven. Luckily one of us is a contractor and was able to easily fix it. Another example is that one of the kitchen cabinets handles kept coming out do to the screw starting to strip. Other than a few little items like that everything was wonderful.

Great stay condo 503

Had a great time and we loved it!!! The view in this condo 503 was absolutely breath taking :-) There was everything that we needed ... Pots pans silverware cups glasses ... I brought all kinds of stuff with us laundry soap dish soap hand soap salt & pepper coffee filters etc... but it all was already there so when we left I left it all for the next guest :-) the shower pressure is absolutely amazing it was so powerful that it almost knocked me back lol the lobby and outside was extremely clean and the pools was clean and just perfect . We didn't have any problems with anything in the unit everything worked great. The only thing that I would have liked to have that we needed was a luggage rack to put our luggage on :-( we had to put them on the floor other then that it was an amazing place and we will definitely stay again in 503. Oh and the little lights in the fireplace was a great touch we left them on all the time just made a great touch. Thanks for offering your condo to us and if you are thinking of renting this unit you will love it we did.

Very poor maintenance

This unit was very disappointing. Either the owner or the rental company is doing a very poor job of maintaining the property. Both sliding glass doors are almost impossible to open as tracks are bent, HVAC filter was filthy, Kurrig coffee maker didn’t work, the master bath tub had mold and mildew so bad on the caulking that the entire bathroom smelled. There was no soap in any of the bathrooms nor was there any dishwasher detergent. I would not recommend renting this unit.

Reviewer Comments: Condo was smelled of mildew, both sliding doors broken, Kerrigan coffee machine broken, piece of wood with nails laying on counter (door molding), tile on shower walls broken filled with mildew, bed linen laying on bed had to make your own bed, no soap in bathrooms, told to start dishwasher but yet there was no dishwashing detergent supplied.

Summer Escape

Great property, great location, not too crowded. I would recommend. Need to fix the main sliding door, it sticks every time about 12" open, gets annoying after a day of struggling with it. Also needs a better vacuum to keep up with the sand!
