October 2022 visit

Great cottage and location. Problem is the pool area and that is why people pay extra for homes with private pools. The picture show a nice clean pool with lots of sunshine however the trees cover any sun that could shine through. The trees keep the pool dirty. Needs landscaping work bad. This is a very nice cottage home. So very cute and clean. The location is wonderful.

Amazing stay!

This was my second year staying in this lovely home. As always it was a great experience. The pool and pool deck were clean and well kept, the house in impeccable condition! We love staying here and look forward to more years!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this chariming beach home. The home is in the perfect location! The interiors of the home could not have been more lovely. The owner was fantastic to work with and took the time to check in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay! There is so much to do and see in the area and we can't wait to come back! If we were ever to buy a beach home, this home would be exactly what we would want! A dream stay! Looking forward to planning our return.

A great house for two

My husband and I had a wonderful week at this home after 2 years of staying home, We felt very comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated and obviously loved by its owners. The house is well stocked with everything we could want for enjoying meals in the cottage. We appreciated its convenience to all that Grayton Beach has to offer. The weather was cool so we did not utilize the backyard pool, or the front porch but appreciated the quietness of the “offseason” in this area. We loved walking the beach and the bike trails that are so accessible from this home. Grocery stores ( Publix and a wonderful market in Seaside) and an awesome bakery are nearby. We hope to return one day.

Amazing stay!

I have been coming to Grayton my entire life and my family has outgrown the current house and branched out to multiple houses. This is my second year getting the second house but my first year in this property. It was the perfect size and fit and the pool was perfect at the end of the day. The fenced in porch and day bed were an absolutely relaxing mood. Joe, the owner personally communicated with me throughout the trip and was so nice. I can’t wait to return next year! The home is beautiful and well taken care of and you can tell Joe and his family have a love for it.

Wonderful house with amazing service!

We made our initial reservation for April 2020 to get out of our house from quarantine for spring break. Unfortunately so many things happened and Joe could not have been more flexible, helpful and understanding through it all. Needless to say, we finally made it to the house this spring break and it was worth the wait! Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable, great pool for the kids and amazing screened front porch! We had the doors open to the porch all week! Walking distance to a great beach and many restaurants! Highly recommend and will be back!

Charming cottage

My husband and I loved the home and the old Florida feel of the neighborhood. When entering through the porch the three french doors with transoms and the gaslights provide historic charm. The home is decorated in a eclectic decor with a nice mix of antiques , interesting art and an overall cozy feel. The kitchen provided everything you needed to cook and plenty of seating. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated all the storage.

Excellent property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed home. Location was amazing, the beds were so comfy and the front porch is a fab living room extension. We walked to our fav restaurants as well as the gorgeous beach. So much to see and nature to enjoy! The pool was not cleaned unfortunately but that’s our only negative. We stayed plenty busy otherwise in gorgeous Grayton! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!💙

The house is beautiful, comfortable. The screened in porch was cozy

Called several times after hurricane Sally to get property cleaned up pool cleaned out. Was the main reason i rented was for the pool. Was not usable. I ended up sweeping all tree debris. In front. Although a nice house i will stay elsewhere next visit in the spring. The pool area was not usable after after wednesday. Lot of money spent, disappointed.

Quaint Beach house

Perfect little beach house, close to the beach, with a nice pool for dipping in. At night you can sit on the patio and not worry about bugs and if you listen close you can hear the ocean. Joe was easy to communicate with and super helpful.

Perfect in Every Way

We had such a relaxing week and wonderful experience while staying in Grayton Beach in this beautifully decorated cottage. Joe was a thoughtful host that went above and beyond to make sure we were comfy and well informed. The quaint street was perfect for morning walks, easy beach access and lazy days on 30A while the porch swing and swimming pool were like icing on the cake. Live oaks offered us shade and privacy but the location was close to all our favorite restaurants, shopping, hiking in Grayton Park, and biking adventures. Well done rehab of a Grayton original gem that is just perfect!

Fantastic

Y'all!! This place is fantastic! The homeowners went above and beyond to make our stay one that I will never forget. My boyfriend (spoiler alert - now fiance) surprised me with a last minute trip to 30A last month. We had a super easy flight on Allegiant Airlines down to Florida, and he booked this fabulous house for us. The decorations in the house were magnificent. It looked like something Joanna Gaines would design. But, now for the best part....My boyfriend proposed to me on the beautiful beach at sunset, which is just a short walk from the house. And he must have coordinated with the home owners before we took our walk because when we got back to the house there were red roses and Champagne laid out for us(he has never told me how he pulled this off). So, thank you to the homeowners for making this the best trip of my life. I can't recommend this place enough for future visitors. Everything is super convenient, and now we are in the process of planning our wedding on 30A!!

The perfect beach house

This is the perfect beach house and was better than advertised. This summer was actually the second time we've stayed at this beach house we had such a good time last year. Being located just a few minutes walk from the beach or nearby restaurants plus a little convenience store was great and kept us out of the car for most of our trip. Something I really appreciated. This part of Florida has the most beautiful beaches anywhere and this part of the beach is relatively secluded from other larger tourist areas so it was never crowded even when we showed up later in the day. The house was charming and perfect for our family of four. When I was tired of the beach my kids had a blast swimming in the pool well into the night. My favorite, the outdoor shower. We will definitely be back.
