Family Holiday Vacation

The property is a great place for a large group to have plenty of space to spread out and engage in various activities. It is stocked with just about every kitchen appliance and utensils one might need. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, exercise studios was a plus. The staff was quite responsive to any concerns that came up. I would suggest trying out the heater for the jacuzzi as soon as you can, to make sure it is in working order from the beginning of your stay. The driveway is difficult to negotiate, however with practice & patience we got the hang of it. All 8 family members had a wonderful experience staying in this home.

Family vacation

Had a wonderful time, house was beautiful, loved the pool and spa. Plenty of room for all. Property management was quick to respond to anytime I had a question or something needed taken care of. Would definitely stay there again. Soper family

Excellent property and location

Fully met our needs with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Main room and kitchen provided plenty of room to cook play games and hang out. Kitchen had everything we needed!

Dream House

Great location! Amazing house. We had a very large group and this house had plenty of room. The beds were great. Tons of beautiful pieces in the house. If you're going to Kauai, this is the place to stay!

Beautiful home with above and beyond amenities...like keurig AND drip, tea warmer, ceiling fans in every room as well as portable fans. Two washer dryer units... and more. The house was spotless, well maintained. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet (except for the roosters crowing every morning, (which we loved)! A great advantage was that we were within walking distance of a grocery store, which we took advantage of numerous times. We would definitely use this house again.

Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great Location

The home has a wonderful pool and while it isn't heated, the Kauai weather always keeps it warm enough. The layout of the house was fabulous for a family of 10. The kitchen has everything needed. It was wonderful to have coffee waiting for us. It was also fun to have pool and beach toys as well as beach towels. We did have a couple of issues. Sand flees were prevalent and the sheets and comforter cover in one bedroom were not clean upon arrival.

Fantastic family time!

Perfect house for the 10 of us! Loved the large table for meals and games- the home is beautifully furnished and beds were super comfy! Lots of extras- everything for a beach day- all kitchen equipment needed was provided- the grocery store was just a few minutes walk. We loved the neighborhood and will for sure be back. The only drawback was how cold the pool and hot tub were- we were not used to that. But overall had a fabulous week!

Wonderful 70th birthday celebration!

Nalani Palms was the perfect house for our family of 10…ages 18 months to 70 years young. The home was beautifully appointed with more than adequate space for our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and satisfied the cooks in our group. The pool area was wonderful and greatly enjoyed by all! The welcome basket of local fruits and treats was much appreciated. The location in Princeville was perfect….a lovely neighbourhood, close to many beautiful beaches and walking distance to decent shopping. We highly recommend this property, and the attentiveness of the management company.

North Side Excellence

Great location, house was clean with lots of amenities. Very comfortable for a family of 10. No yard but we didn’t need a yard. Appreciated the beach chairs. Left for boogie boards. No air conditioning did not bother us. Hot tub was perfect. Our only complaint was the pool was cold. Hardly used at all because it was too cold to stay in. Although, It’s close to many beaches to snorkel and boogie board. Thank you for a great Kauai vacation!

Hawaiian Christmas 2024

As new empty nesters (one daughter in college and two sons in the military) we knew that everyone was going to be traveling from somewhere to make it home for Christmas. The family voted and decided that since we would all be traveling anyway we might as well make it nice. With girlfriends and spouses we had a total of eight in our family and needed at least 5 bedrooms. This starts limiting our options. Doing a little research I came across Nalani Palms. Folks, this is a magnificent property. It had the 5 bedrooms we needed (all very large) and two separate living areas. It had a very well equipped and large kitchen, two washing machines and two dryers. there are only two televisions (none in the bedrooms) but after the first day none of us really missed it. The pool, hot tub and BBQ all worked and were well used. In the garage there was plenty of beach gear including surf boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, two ice chests and toys for the kids. Really, everything you need for a day at the beach. The house itself sits in the Princeville Resort (North Shore) just minutes from numerous beaches and the Princeville Makai golf club (I also highly recommend). Side note, the conditions at the beaches can vary from day to day or even hour to hour based on the weather conditions. If the surf is rough at one beach you may have better luck at another beach close by. They do fill up early though. Back to the property. Check in was super easy. 5 stars. Can't recommend highly enough.

Safety issues/ needs better cleaning

The house is a wonderful property landscaped beautifully. The layout is nice. The driveway is very narrow and hard to back out of. First the lack of air conditioning is the most immediately noticed problem. It’s time the owners step up and invest in a good HVAC system. Very uncomfortable if not impossible to sleep in this house. This would also increase the value of the property. 2nd item is the complete lack of any grab handles in any of the bath tubs or showers. Floors in tubs are very slippery and there’s nothing to grab if you fall. 3rd item is the lack of a railing on the pool steps and on the hot tub. Very hard for seniors to get in or out of the pool and tub. The tile around the pool area is very slippery, my wife and I both came close to falling several times. 4th. For what we paid for cleaning the property it should have been a lot cleaner. Every fan is full of black dirt and blows off in chunks. The swimming pool looked like it wasn’t cleaned in several weeks. 5th. The upstairs dining area window coverings have many pieces missing and the allows the sun to glare into the living room and dining room making them uncomfortable to use.

Princeville stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely. My only concern was the living quarters, master, kitchen, dining room and living room were on the second floor. As a senior stairs can be an issue for me.

Great for three couples and two kids

Check in was easy, plenty of space, clean property and accommodated a few requests. There were small tweaks that would help but nothing to stop a 5 star experience. (For example, basics like salt and pepper would be helpful, one of the shower heads needed a tweak but everything worked great and you can get what you need at the local market.)

Birthday bash

All our family -G/G + family of 4 + family of 4 + girlfriend gathered for grandpa’s birthday. The house was wonderful with so much space to relax and having a pool was so awesome. Convenient to all shopping and activities.

Awesome kauai

Our family of 11 had the most wonderful stay at Nalani Palms. The house is so spacious that if someone wants to be alone it’s possible!! Everybody loved the pool. Having multiple washer and dryers was very helpful. The kitchen was very well designed. The location was so convenient for all activities. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Lovely home

We fully enjoyed our stay at this home. It had everything we needed plus beach toys. You need to point out in the listing that the master suite, living, dining and kitchen are all on the 2nd floor. A person with disabilities would find this difficult.

Kauai Family Time

The house is beautiful and was perfect for our family getaway of 12. Our plane had come in way early, and they were kind enough to allow us an early check in. Which was fantastic as we had a 2 year old. There is actually more things closer than I realized when booking the property. There are places to eat that are in walking distance, and a Foodland as well! They had all the snorkeling stuff and surf boards we could need, but we couldn’t find any boogie boards, so we bought 2 and left them with the property. The nights are cool and comfortable, so air conditioning was not needed. The week went by too quickly with so much to do on that beautiful island. It fast became everyone’s favorite.
