Kotimme sijaitsee kätevästi noin 4 korttelin päässä Michigan-järvestä ja rannasta. Se on myös noin 4 korttelin puinen lasten puisto ja keskusta. Mökissä on 3 makuuhuonetta ja 2 kylpyhuonetta. Se nukkuu 8 hengelle. Kaikki mitä mahdollisesti tarvitset, löytyy mökistämme mukavaan oleskeluun. Meillä on pesukone ja kuivausrumpu. On 2 kuistia rentoutua ja piha / ulkokalusteet. Hyvää varaus.

Fall stay

The house was nice and clean. Wish the check in was earlier than 4:00. At first we could not find the code to check in and I contacted the host and she never got back to me. But overall our stay was great.

At The Beach

The premises were comfortable. Everything worked and if there were any problems the owners took care of it immediately. The only suggestion we could make was more baskets in downstairs bathroom and bedrooms and more hangers in downstairs bedroom. We enjoyed our stay and the facility was close to downtown and the beaches. Thank you for providing a comfortable place to stay. Cheryl

Great place a short walk from town!

The home was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and bathrooms on both floors which was convenient. This was a short walk from downtown and in a nice, safe neighborhood.

Good house

Overall, we had a great time. One thing could be improved, thought. The children's room (with bunk beds) has a super-high window with no covering on it, meaning it was bright in there till after sunset. Our kids go to bed by 8, so that was an urgent problem for us. Another less-than-ideal issue was the distance to beach and downtown was a bit farther than the listing suggested. Little kids could never make it to the beach on foot. Finally, the neighborhood was fine, but not attractive. This may not matter to anyone. Otherwise the listing earned its overall 5-star rating.

Too short!

The property was comfortable except the stay was way too short! We had to wait until 4p to check-in and we had to be out by 10 a. The reason we could not check-in was because they have someone cleaning for five hours before each guest. Then when we did check-in I noticed the stairs were not vacuumed and the upstairs bathroom, toilet, tub and showers were not very clean. The shower water fixture in the upstairs bathroom was really strange every time someone used it they couldn’t figure out how to turn off the water and left it running for someone to figure out. They need to replace that!! It was rather warm upstairs with the high ceilings and the ceiling fan was blowing hot air down on you and it should be set in reverse so it brings the cool air up. They did have a decent standing fan so that helped! The beds were comfortable but the TV upstairs we had to reset the cable box for awhile because it wasn’t working which took a bit of troubleshooting. Overall comfortable but I don’t think I’ll stay again.

Nice tidy homebase

The house was very very clean and good size for our family. We enjoyed the location (as we have stayed in South Haven before). That being said, even though the house was a little further from everything than described (a little under 15 mins walk to downtown and the beach) it was a short drive to very beautiful overlooks and beaches. The downstairs was cool but the upstairs was very warm (and we appreciate the fans). The kitchen had lots of spices and condiments, but the kitchen ware (pots, pans, mixing bowl etc) was less than adequate for a family of 5 to cook and prepare food. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come and stay again, but we would be more prepared had we knwon these things up front.

Plenty of room, great location

Easy check-in/out process, plenty of space for the kids, & tremendous location right near the beach & downtown. Hosts were extremely responsive & kind. Highly recommend, & I would absolutely stay here again.

Simply perfect

The house was immaculate. The rooms were all good sizes. The main bedroom was large, yet charming with storage and a full bath. Thank you for the nice touch of the jar of homemade jam.

Girls Weekend!

My two friends and I stayed for 3 nights. The property was great. Everything we needed was included - bath towels, beach towels, lots of toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, shampoo, ceiling fans, standing fans, etc. There were even 4 mini bottled waters in the fridge! The only thing missing was a wine/bottle opener. Loved that there was a front porch and a sunroom - we used both! Location was perfect. We walked to the downtown area every morning. South Beach was a short drive away. No complaints. The only reason I did not give the property a 5 was the lack of communication from the owner. I stay in rental properties all the time and am used to more friendly responses from the property owner. Customer Service to me is a big deal. Everything else though was great... would definitely recommend.

Ladies visit

We enjoyed our stay in South Haven. The house was comfy and well equipped. The location is great and the neighborhood is quiet. We are getting older and notice little things like hand rails now. The back porch step could use a post or hand rail to help our senior set. We didn’t have time to enjoy the backyard, but the fire pit looked inviting. Would love to visit again.

Great place to stay

The property and house is exactly like the pictures. It is only a short walk (4 long blocks) to the south beach. It is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It had everything you need to stay for the week. If we ever come back to the area we will stay here again!

Great for the family

This house was perfect for our little beach trip! My husband and I were traveling with 3 kids, grandma, and a babysitter and there was enough room for all of us to spread out and relax. Grandma appreciated the bedroom on the first floor. Both the porch and the sunroom were wonderful additions to the space and we used the grill and fire pit for dinner and s’mores. I loved that we were walking distance to the kid’s corner playground and the beaches were minutes away too. We would definitely come back to this clean and comfy cottage!

Quiet home on parade route

Perfect for family of 4 or 5, quiet neighborhood, as advertised. Did have an issue with washer but owner did fix. Plenty of parking space, lots of charm. No texts from owner ever came through, had to use VRBO app to communicate instead of number listed on binder.

Nice location

We were pleased to be able to rent this house for only one night. We previously stayed in Holland, and wanted to continue our vacation in South Haven. The home was very clean and had plenty of space for my husband and I and our 4 children. We rode our bikes to the beach , and to downtown South Haven. We took the 6 min drive to Sherman’s for ice cream. The home is in a nice location and we enjoyed our brief stay.

Loved our first trip to Michigan

The pictures were exactly as the property was in person. It was very clean and smelled so fresh right when you walked in. The previous renters didn’t leave the shed key where we could find it, and tbt wonder was very quick to respond and brought her key over for us to use. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and linens. There was plenty of towels, wash clothes, laundry detergent and shampoo/body wash if you needed to use theirs. The walk to south beach was 10-15 minutes and you could walk to downtown if you wanted but we chose to drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property and location

The property is exactly how it appears in photos. It's charming and comfortable. There's enough space for one or 2 cars depending on the vehicle to have off-street parking. The location is great. For us, it was an easy walk up into town. A nice park is located even closer for those bringing kids. We had wonderful and prompt communications with the owners. We would not hesitate to stay here again if coming back to the area.

We have been in the hospitality for over 20 years now. Our family used to own Historic Hotel Nichols in town. We sold the Inn a few years in order for mom to retire. We have over 50 years experience in the cleaning service industry and service countless summer rental homes.
