Beautiful view

Majestic it is. What a beautiful view to wake to. Thank you. We had a wonderful stay. I just wish the one room had at least a queen bed. But other than that i would have given 5 🌟

Close to Sylvania Wilderness, yet all the comforts! Relaxing & enjoyable.

Majestic indeed! The views are captivating, especially taking in the morning visits by a bald eagle. Small mouth bass fishing just steps away. The Majestic Point experience is like being on a private island. Definitely plan to return soon. Thank you for sharing!

Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay at Majestic Point. The house had wonderful views of the lake, and was very comfortable. It was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and linens. The wild life was abundant, and we had a very relaxing time.

About the host

Hosted by Sue Schemmer

Host profile image
We have been married since 1978 and have two grown children and three beautiful grandchildren.

We both grew up spending summer vacations in the UP. Both of Wayne's sets of Grandparents retired to Thousand Island Lake in the 1970's. Wayne Sr. lives there full-time now and manages our vacation home.

Why they chose this property

We always admired this house and dreamed of buying it someday. When it came up for sale, we were very lucky to be able to purchase it. The house was built for all year use and we snowmobile there in the winter.

What makes this property unique

Our family owns the entire peninsula and there are only two houses so it is very private. The living room has windows on three sides and has great views of Thousand Island Lake.
