We have stayed there 3 times and love it!! Neighborhood, view are wonderful. Al is a great landlord and Lyn, who cleans is great. We highly recommend! Are back again next year!!!
Not a real fancy house, but it was what we expected. We like houses like that. The best thing overall was the neighborhood. We went to so many places on the island where there were just so many people, but we saw very few people while sitting on the lanai watching the waves roll in. We really enjoyed staying there.
The house was clean and and the view of the ocean was beautiful. Loved the ocean being so close and hearing the waves and tide. The house is about a 20 minute drive to Lydgate Beach, which I recommend visiting while there. The owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay there again if lucky enough to get back to Kauai.
We enjoyed the house. It was everything that was described to us when we rented it. The house is cozy and quiet. You often have a sense of being the only one home in the neighborhood. Loved that!
Loved our stay. Spent most of my time on the back lanai. So peaceful and restful. The cool breeze and sound of waves washing over you as you sleep. Doesn’t get better than that. The home is clean and has everything you could need. Great communication and easy check in and out. Want to go again on next trip to kauai. .
Exactly what we were hoping for. Super quiet away from the typical tourist areas but easy enough to drive to amenities. Beaches to the left and right that we had to ourselves most days. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Al is a great host.
We loved our stay at this ocean front older home. It’s in a neighborhood dotted with long time residents and vacation rentals. Although it could use some TLC maintenance inside and out we appreciated its premier location and cost. Everything was pristinely clean, kitchen well outfitted and king bed comfortable. The best part was the large covered lanai about 20 feet from the sea wall. I would highly recommend Al’s place. Loved the quiet area, the sounds of the waves, the nearby beaches and would most definitely choose to stay there again. Wished we could stay longer. covered lanai
