About this property

Fairly New Cottage in a Quiet, Safe area on Beautiful Caye Caulker, Belize

** We are now Gold Standard Certified with the Belize Tourism Board and offer stringent cleaning practices so you can have peace of mind while staying with us**

The Lily Pad is located just 5 minutes from the main town area and 10 minutes from the popular "Split." It was completed in March 2019 so it is a fairly new cottage with all the amenities. 1x (5 Gallon) jug is supplied for a 2-4 night stay OR 2 x (5 gallon) jugs of water are supplied with a 5 night stay (or longer)(extra jugs are $3.50USD/each), A/C in both bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout the House. A full-size fridge and gas stove are also at your disposal. For a 3 night stay or longer, we offer a complimentary pick-up service from the Ferry terminal to get you and your luggage to our cottage and 4 Bicycles are provided for our guests as well. There are multiple Golf cart taxi services on the Island or you can choose to rent your own Golf Cart while you are here. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us.

Excellent - perfect for us

Our stay was all we had wished for. Clean and roomy, the place was just far enough from the busyness to feel like a retreat, but it was easy to walk to anything we wanted. Mike and Lilliana were perfect hosts - available, informative and quick to respond to any questions.

Quaint and delightful stay

Our experience was wonderful in all ways. The house was very clean and adequate for 4 adults. It was away from the busy section of town which was actually a bonus for quiet evenings. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend this spot highly.

Perfect cottage with great hosts!

The cottage was cozy and quaint it had everything we needed. The property was quite and not very far from the action. Having Harley and Bruno made us feel extra safe. Mike and Lily were so accommodating and gracious. They really made an effort to help us enjoy our stay. Gave us great tips on good restaurants and guilds for excursions. Offered to arrange a taxi to take us to the ferry when it was time for us to leave. Arranged taxi transportation to the airport in Belize City. I would definitely recommend this property when visiting Caye Caulker! Thanks you Mike, Lily, Harley and Bruno!!!

Wonderful place on the island!

A friend and I stayed here for three nights in February, and we really loved it! First, the location was great. It was far enough away from the action to be quiet, but it was an easy walk or bike ride (bikes provided - a great amenity!) to anything you want to do on the small island. We also felt like the home offered everything we could want or need - even a Smart TV for some quiet downtime! I especially loved the two dogs - big boys who might look intimidating but were so sweet and friendly! We will definitely stay here again on any return trips to the island. Thanks, Mike, for the hospitality and help with anything we needed!

Beautiful 10/10

The grounds and the home, both beautiful. Shower with wonderful hot water (if you’ve ever stayed on small islands you realize how important and rare this is)! The bikes they supplied with the apartment we used every day, very convenient & thankful for this thoughtful extra. Would not hesitate to rent this listing again. Thank you so much for everything Mike and Lily.
