The main floor apartment* is well appointed with new linens, plush towels, original artworks, and an eclectic mix of mid-century modern antiques and contemporary furnishings. Our kitchen is set up with tailgating in mind! From a full compliment of prep equipment to the French door refrigerator ready to accommodate large trays of tailgate treats, there's ample space to prepare for a big game or a graduation celebration.

Located literally on the city limits of Pendleton, Raven's Ridge is only 6 miles from Death Valley and mere minutes from Ashtabula and Woodburn historic homes, Pendleton Square, and The South Carolina Botanical Garden. Venture a little further and take in Stumphouse Tunnel, T. Ed Garrison Arena, Twin Lakes State Park, Whitewater Falls, Eastatoe Falls, Duke Energy World of Energy, Westminster Playhouse, or Table Rock State Park just to name a few of our local treasures. Whether you spend the day cheering on the Tigers or exploring the Upstate, you can relax your cares away in the luxurious garden tub.

*PLEASE NOTE: The main floor of our spacious home is yours to enjoy. There is a full-time resident in the ground floor apartment, so no raucous parties allowed.

There are six steps to enter the house, and many doorways are narrow, so Raven's Ridge is not handicapped accessible.

Nice place and location!

Nice location, clean and homey! The owners are nice and thoughtful! Just about everything you need , kitchen had an assortment of cookware. spices and condiments. We hope to stay there again!

Very comfortable stay!

The property was very comfortable. It was full of extras that made us feel at home. The kitchen had everything for preparing meals; the bathrooms were full of plenty of towels; beds and pillows were great and a few inside lights were turned on for us when we told the owner we’d be arriving late at night.

Perfect Location:Well stocked

Wonderful house!

We enjoyed our stay while visiting our Tiger. We were able to play board games and have family dinner and game night with all the comforts of home while being only a few miles to campus.

Clemson trip

This house has everything…

This is the third year we’ve stayed at this property. Each time has been a great experience. The house is clean and fully stocked with anything you could need - especially in the kitchen. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and very relaxing. Esther is a very good host and will answer quickly if any questions arise. We will be back!

The host and hostess are very communicative and personable. The home is convenient, clean, and comfortable. Esther did a fabulous job of thinking of so many small details to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I really appreciated all the extras provided. Finally, the home lives up to it's name Raven's Ridge and is decorated with ravens in each room.

Home Away from Home

Esther has thought about everything you need to have a great time. Clean, organized, and well-stocked with kitchen tools, pantry essentials, and bath items - even books and board games. Mostly quiet neighborhood with opportunities to see animals from the neighbors. My only wish would be stronger wifi to accommodate remote working.thanks for you stellar hospitality!

Perfection

If you stay at Ravens Ridge once you will want to return. Esther and staff go the extra mile to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable. They seem to have thought of everything you might need...are they mind readers now? In my opinion, it is just the best in area. My husband and I both love to visit our grandchildren and then head back over to Ravens Ridge for some wine and relaxation every night!

Awesome Rental. Great Visit.

My wife and I were in town to visit two of our kids who attend Clemson. Everything about this property was perfect for our stay. Location is excellent - Pendleton town square is just down the road and downtown Clemson is a very short distance. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything one could need and it's probably the most well stocked out of any short-term rental we have stayed in. It was great to be able to cook a few meals for our son and daughter. Ester was kind and helpful. We can't say enough good things about our time here and would certainly recommend to others.

Best VRBO we have ever rented.

We have stayed at VRBO's several times across the country. Always have been please, and more, Raven's Ridge 🐦‍⬛ is spectacular, very homey, very clean, and a kitchen stocked just like a home, everything one could need to prepare most any meal. Every type of cooking utensil and pot or pan, etc. Lots of spices, flour, sugar, coffee, you name it, everything was there. Walking in you automatically felt comfortable, like that feeling when you arrive home after being away for awhile, even though it wasn't our home, Raven's Ridge has that welcoming feeling. If we ever go back to the area, Raven's Ridge will be out first choice. Thank you Robin and Rick N.

About the host

Hosted by Esther Revis-Wagner

Esther & Ken Revis-Wagner are 40 year residents of the area. Ken taught Biology and was the Pre-Med Advisor at Clemson until he retired in 2008. Esther owned Nick's Tavern & Deli from 1985-2014. We love being grandparents, traveling, craft beer, and the Clemson Tigers.

Why they chose this property

Never one to have idle hands, Esther always has a project or 20 going. After we sold Ken's parents' home in Florida we wanted to re-invest the money in our community and offer other travelers a comfortable place to relax, rejuvenate, and get ready for more fun!

What makes this property unique

We chose Raven's Ridge for its proximity to Clemson without being in the middle of all the craziness that is a football weekend. At the end of the day, we are ready to put our feet up and enjoy a little peace and quiet. Our grandkids see deer every time they stay here and there's an owl that visits the back yard with regularity. The light in the house is fantastic. The sun rises outside the twin bedroom, master bathroom, and kitchen windows. Sunset views from both queen bedrooms, the living room , and dining room are magical.
