Upstairs guests will find two additional bedrooms with private bathrooms and an additional living room with balcony overlooking the beach. Wifi, cable, keurig, tea kettle, elevator, garage and much more! DeBordieu is truly one of the best kept secrets of The Grand Strand place where families vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy this gem for a week, a month or a long weekend!

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained property. 3 couples were very comfortable with enough space for both group gathering and privacy. Well stocked kitchen. Nice linens/comfortable bedding.Perfect location for sunrise.

Reviewer Comments: The upstairs A/C unit was out for the first three days of our stay which made for a few uncomfortable nights, but the TideLife staff was very responsive and the owner made an accommodation for our troubles, which we very much appreciated. Otherwise, we had a wonderful vacation. This was our second stay at High Cotton, which is in a perfect location. We love DeBordieu and have been vacationing there for ~20 years. The house was clean, well-appointed, and well-maintained. High Cotton perfectly fits our family's needs. We hope to return again.

Wonderful stay

Such a lovely place to enjoy some slow paced, family time. Only complaint were the ants in the kitchen. They got to all of our dry groceries and while management quickly brought traps and spray, it wasn’t enough to keep them away. The ants stayed with us all weekend which was not ideal for the premium, we we’re happy to pay, to be there. Otherwise, everything was lovely and we look forward to staying there again soon - sans ants.

Awesome trip

House was amazing. We decided we are going to book this house every year. Beautiful view of the ocean. Cleaning job could have been better, but other than that, amazing trip. Highly recommend.

Beautiful. But...

For the most part we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful. Unfortunately there had been a dog in the house a week prior and we were greeted with feces and a urine soaked rug in the office of the home which we needed as an extra bedroom. Very unfortunate.

This is a great house! The view is OUTSTANDING! You feel like the house is actually on the water. Our families were very comfortable and the layout was fantastic. House was clean and orderly. There were some stains on the upstairs sectional and some construction that was extremely noisy going on next door but the latter was only for a few hours a day and luckily didn't disturb us too much. Aside from those two things it was pretty close to perfect! Would come back to this house in a heartbeat and certainly hope to do just that!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We completely fell in love with everything about this house. It was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we needed for our family. You also can’t beat the location as it’s perfectly placed steps away from water. We watched beautiful sunrises with dolphins playing in the water, and then the dramatic shift of a storm coming in off the back porch. A short walk from the house gets you to the wildlife preserve area of beach which is so serene. Very hard place to leave and we will definitely be returning as often as possible.

Excellent Beach House - over the top!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for five days and the house was well equipped with towels, toilet paper, kitchen pots and pans including coffee cups, glasses and dishware. All the basics were provided. The house is right on the ocean and it has an outdoor shower at the bottom of the house. There was only one thing missing and that was a gas grill and since the house rules don't allow charcoal grilling, we had to fry or bake our meals. The community is very upscale and mostly everyone stays to themselves. The pool was very clean and Tiki Bar had delicious finger foods and adult beverages. This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in and at different times during our stay, we had as many as 15 family members sleeping over. Excellent Property!

Best Family Vacation EVER!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: By far the best family vacation ever! This home is superb as well as Suzanne and her staff. Simply put the best of the best! Next year we will eat every meal at the house and never leave. There is no need to leave, you have everything you need at the home and it's so lovely you really don't want to go anywhere. Our grand babies loved riding around on the golf cart and looking at the deer, rabbits, alligators and flying fish. The newest member of our family proposed to our daughter on the beach with us over looking from the balcony while the dads were sneaking around playing paparazzi. Beautiful memories were made and we cannot wait to go back next year! Thank you Suzanne and staff for this home and your service.
