Awesome property and Lee and Jeanne were excellent hosts. I really enjoyed the way was cabin was decorated for the holidays, from the bed sheets to the dinnerware. Great option if you're looking to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet.
We enjoyed several days at the RUSTIC CABIN when a fire approached, and we had to be evacuated for a couple days. The hosts were very concerned for us and our safety. We were allowed to come back the last part of our stay. The hosts graciously refunded our money. We would definitely return to this peaceful retreat!
Please
We had a one night stay at the rustic and I wish it was for longer. Beautiful place and even better sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. They had the cabin fully furnished with WiFi, washer/dryer, full kitchen, etc. Close to dinning and great outdoor activities! Thank you for your hospitality!
Couldn’t be happier that we chose this property for our stay. Safe and quiet location was perfect for us. Super clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Can’t wait to go back again!
Perfect place to relax. Cabin has everything you need and the property is quiet. Not far from places to shop or eat out….although the kitchen is perfect for home cooking!
Our stay at the Rustic Cabin was a fantastic experience. This is a great place to stay for families. Our children really enjoyed sleeping in the bunkbeds, laying in the hammock, hiking in the property, and the use of the basket and basketballs.
The property was very easy to find (Jeanne and Lee provided very clear and easy to follow directions). The road to the property and driveway were very well maintained. We were able to take day trips to explore different attractions in Divide, Cripple Creek, and Colorado Springs.
The cabin is very clean and cozy. It has a washer and dryer which makes it easy to travel with kids. It was fun to sit on the front porch and drink coffee in the morning. It was so cool to stay in a cabin that had walls made of logs!
It is just such a neat place to stay and we loved being in the mountains! We had a wonderful time here and hope to return.
This cabin was perfect for us as we were passing through the area. The set up was perfect with bunk beds for the kids and a regular bed for us. Our little dog was also able to join us and it was a cozy little oasis tucked into the mountains. They had a fire burning as we arrived and it was perfect. They also provided some movies and a tv with all the subscription services available! Highly recommend!
Our cabin was very cozy with a comfortable bed, ample room for two people, well supplied kitchen and bathroom, plenty of outlets to plug in our devices, surprisingly great Wi-Fi and cell service, great drinking water, would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The accommodations were everything we needed and more. The property was quiet and remote while remaining juat a few miles from town. The property owner was prompt to reply to us and helped facilitate a get-a-way to remember.
We drove in from the Denver area to get some fresh air, and it was the perfect place to stay. The woods around the cabin are beautiful for a peaceful walk. We found some fun activities in Woodland Park ~15 minutes away from the cabin. Colorado Springs also has LOTS
This spot is perfectly located within a short driving distance from so many towns with so many activities everyone in the family will find something they want! The hosts were very friendly and the cabin and property were exactly as described! We will definitely be back! We are excited to experience the area in the summer!
This cabin is far enough from the city to feel peaceful, but close enough to be an easy drive for an overnight. We had fun just hanging in the cabin during a cold snap, but plan to come back to Explorer the trails when it’s warmer. highly recommend this hidden gem.
I'm not much for writing reviews but my family really enjoyed staying in this little cabin. It's called the Rustic cabin but we found it clean and fairly modern. It's on a beautiful property with a few other cabins. Make sure you verify the correct address because Google Maps takes you to a not so pleasant neighbor. I really liked this property and will stay here again when I'm in the Divide, CO area.
