This townhome has 1,300 sq. ft. of space with a large Arizona room overlooking the east facing patio and Santa Rita Mountains. This unit has a master bedroom with queen bed, two large closets and full bath remodeled in 2016. Just down the hall is a guest bedroom with murphy bed, desk and dresser. The second bathroom is across the hall and was also remodeled in 2016. The front living room is spacious with a beehive fireplace and large mexican style armoire with TV inside. The sofa is a queen size sofa bed making this townhome sleep a maximum of six. There is an eating area just off the living room and kitchen.
A galley kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, with a full pantry and laundry area adjacent. The Arizona room has saltillo tiled flooring, eating area, another flat screen TV, sofa and recliner. Large slider and windows with great views of the mountains from inside.
The only carpet is in the master bedroom. The guest bedroom has a hand painted tile floor and the remainder is faux wood for easy maintenance.
Since this is an artists home, all the pictures hanging on the walls are original southwest pastels and oil paintings collected over the years.
The neighborhood of Desert Hills 2 is very quiet and isolated on three sides by arroyos. Expect to see javelinas walking on by in late afternoon and early evening. Other animals you may see in the area are mule deer, coyotes and bobcats. This unit is on a corner and has a one car carport although two vehicles can easily fit in the driveway. Common area parking is nearby.
