A beautiful apartment

Our visit on Banana beach was perfect. A great and clean apartment on a nice spot in Marbella. Nice beach just in front of you. Not to busy like most beaches in Marbella during the sumer. We certainly come back again.

Fantastic!!

Communication with John has been very good from day 1 that we saw the apartment on Vrbo. Description of the apartment is exactly as it is. We arrived and it was neat and most importantly very clean! The apartment is fully furnished with everything you need. Even a lot of cleaning items. The view is phenomenal! We really enjoyed it with our family :-) we highly recommend this apartment! Superbe séjour, superbes hôtes

L’appartement de John et Marissa est une perle rare ! La localisation, la propreté de l’appartement, les échanges avec les hôtes et les équipements de l’appartement et de la résidences sont parfait. Nous étions 4 mais la capacité d’accueil du logement est de 6 personnes avec chacune son espace. Je ne peux que recommander! À bientôt :)

Wunderbar

Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben, groß, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, wie zu Hause. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist ein Traum. John war sehr nett und aufmerksam, und der Parkplatz in der Garage des Gebäudes war bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur wie ein Wunder und nicht nur das, man bekommt dort draußen nicht wirklich einen freien Parkplatz. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen

Estupendo

El apartamento de John es magnifico, hemos disfrutado mucho esa terraza tan agradable mirando al mar. La playa no esta muy concurrida, por lo que tambien es un plus. Se encuentra a la entrada de Marbella, a unos 10 min en coche del centro y un paseo andando. Eso hace que estes en un sitio muy tranquilo. El apartamento esta muy limpio, las camas agradables, la cocina con lo necesario y la comunicación con John excelente. Tiene un pequeño supermercado a 5 min y un Mercadona a 6 en coche. Un lugar para volver sin duda!

Querría una casa así para vivir

La casa es muy amplia y sobre todo, luminosa. Desde la sala ves y oyes el mar, lo cual es un lujo. Tiene de todo lo que puedas necesitar, algo que no ocurre en todas las casas, por ejemplo, todo tipo de utensilios de cocina. Está bien ubicada, no es el centro pero andando en 20 minutos estás. Y justo debajo comienza una Senda Litoral de varios km. muy bonita. Resumiendo, una estancia muy muy agradable que ojalá pueda repetir.

Lovely appartment on the beach

We were a family of four staying for one week in late October. The communication with John (Owner) was very good and the apartment is as described. Everything was spotless and overall very comfortable. We were lucky with weather so use of the south facing big balcony and the great sea views were fantastic. There is a long sandy beach which is ideal for early morning walks and the sound of crashing waves hitting the beach can be heard from the apartment - again very nice to fall asleep listening to. The location is at the edge of Marbella so a healthy 10min walk to the old harbour and some good fish restaurants and 20 mins stroll to main Marbella strip & old town. There are a few beach hut restaurants beside the apartment which was convenient for sundowners although food wasn't that good. If there was one fault, it would be that the location is that bit of a walk into main town and the building is at the commercial end of Marbella (mostly suite of car show rooms) however that does mean its exceptionally quiet / peaceful if that is what you are looking for. We would recommend this place if you like long beach walks and sitting on a balcony with a glass of wine however if you want the nightlife, then it is that bit further out and perhaps a closer to town location would be better. Overall we loved it and will definitely return for another week.

Excellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautiful with a large comfortable living room, a large master bedroom (with en-suite) and two other rooms. The balcony is fantastic with sea views over the Mediterranean. The local beach bars are great with good food and drink.

Can't fault it - Perfect

Absolutely perfect. The apartment was lovely, clean, bright, spacious and with fantastic sea views. Ideally located to walk to either the supermarket or The Old Town where you are spoilt for choice of bars and restaurants. John the owner was extremely helpful and we will definitely be back.

Lovely apartment with fantastic sea view

Lovely apartment on a quiet beach about 10 minutes walk from downtown Marbella, apartment was spotless and in excellent condition. We really enjoyed our balcony looking directly onto the sea. The beach is very nice and cleaned every day, gentle shelf into the water so good for swimming. Large shopping mall 'La Canada is about' 10 minutes by car if that floats your boat, my two ladies has an enjoyable morning shopping there while I was booked into the 'man Cresche' (cafe on ground floor) reading a book. Local supermarkets about 10 minutes walk have everything you need food wise. If you need your endorphin hit we found a good gym 5 minutes away 'Olympic Fitness Center' where you could pay per day €10 or for the week €25 including classes, did spinning and pilates which were very good. The owner John was a pleasure to deal with, punctual and polite. We would be very happy to go back again.

Highly recommended

The apartment was perfect for us, a family of 4 with 2 grown up children. It was modern and spacious, spotlessly clean and it had a decent sized balcony with amazing, uninterrupted views of the Med. There were 3 chiringuitos within 5 minutes walk of the apartment where you could have breakfast , dinner or just a snack. They tended to be low key during the day and lively without being rowdy at night so it wasn't always necessary to go into Marbella, which was about a 20 minute stroll along the promenade. We did one excursion to Gibraltar to visit friends and we took a taxi to the bus station (9 euros) where we caught the bus to La Linea (90 mins) and walked across the border. Easy! We loved it and will certainly go back .

Highly recommended

This is a beautiful apartment which is maintained to a high standard. It has stunning views over the sea and instant access to one of the best beaches in Marbella. It is close to several chiringitos and not far from Marbella centre with its abundance of bars and restaurants. We will definitely be renting this apartment again.

Stunning apartment, highly recommend!

My husband and I recently stayed at Banana Beach and really can't recommend this apartment enough. It has stunning views from the large sea-facing balcony, very clean, nice pool, close to everything that Marbella has to offer but without the noise! Don't miss the restaurants in the fishing village located along the beach to the west of the apartment block by the marina. We will definitely be back - thank you for a wonderful holiday experience!

Relax and unwind in luxury

A spotless apartment with stunning views, we really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was spacious with everything you need for a relaxing break and within close proximity to amenities. The beautiful beach is an amazing outlook from the balcony and we would certainly visit again!

Why they chose this property

It is right on the best beach in Marbella, one of the nicest coastal towns in Spain, with breathtaking views across the Mediterranean. There is no road between the apartment and the beach so, most of the time, all you can hear is the sea. If you head east along the beach or the wooden promenade, you can walk for hours on fairly quiet and unspoilt beaches, with dunes and other natural features. To the west you can walk along the beach or the promenade to the fishing port, with all its restaurants, and from there along the promenade into the town centre.
In the summer there are also some bars and restaurants on the beach a few steps away from the apartment.

What makes this property unique

The views are spectacular from the sitting room and terrace, due south across the Mediterranean Sea. On a clear day you can see the so-called "Pillars of Hercules" at the entrance to the Mediterranean - Gibraltar (which is about 40 miles away) and Jebel Musa in North Africa (about 50 miles). On a really clear day you can see the mountains of North Africa, some of which are almost 100 miles away. If you like to watch the sea, the seabirds, the ever changing colours and patterns of the waves and currents, this is a heavenly spot from which to do so.
