Amazing historic family farmhouse with grand furnished entrance, 8 large bedrooms, (3 double) (5 twin) 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, dining room, kitchen with pantry, utility rooms and lots of space both inside and out. Great family holiday ..

Lovely holiday for 13 of us. Accommodation just right, pool excellent and the area round the house much loved by the children. Trinidad a very helpful and kind hostess .Easy walk to the very useful co-op . Lots of shady bits if it gets too hot. Recommended.

Fab Finca!

Wonderful setting, great views from the pool and back garden. Excellent barbecue set up with its own little cleaning area with sink, hot water and cleaning gear. Superb host, really helpful and nice to chat with The property retains its charm and reflects its been in the hands of one family for a couple of centuries or so. We generally had lunch out and cooked and ate in for dinner, cooking was a joy. Every conceivable utensil was available, you just had to find in sometimes in the nooks and crannies of the kitchen and larder. I could go on but find out for yourselves! When we need a large finca in the Soller/Binairaix area again, this will be our spot

Celebration week

Beautiful property, beautiful location. Everything to hand, local shop excellent & easy walk into Soller. Drive & Lane extremely narrow, difficulty turning round, small cars recommended but you do get used to it and all worth it.

Friends & family holiday at Can Posteta 30 Aug - 6 Set 2022

We all had a fantastic week at Can Posteta. The house was beautiful and situated in a stunning location. A beautiful welcome pack awaited us inside full of local produce. The property itself was very spacious, comfortable and full of character. The pool attached to the house was a good size, clean with ample seating for everyone, they even supplied pool towels. Lying there the views were stunning with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Around the house there is various lovely seating/eating areas we took full advantage of. We didn't hire a car, the supermarkets are in town a 15 minute walk away and there is a lovely Cooperative farm shop a 5 minutes along the road with fresh local produce & nice wine on tap we used a lot. Trinidad is an absolutely wonderful host and Stephen made us feel very welcome, showing us the wine process from the vineyard at the property and a big thank you for taking our daughter to see a doctor for some medical attention. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. Hugh & Dawn

The Allen's in Soller

A very happy stay for our whole family. Though the heat was exceptional, we managed to adapt and used the excellent pool to the maximum. A very warm and generous welcome from Trinidad and Stephen. The house was well provided and well used, with several large meals made in the kitchen and eaten on the long table outside. We visited the surrounding area, from walking to Binareix for the 2 bars, Fornalutz by car for coffee, the Cooperative fore bread, wine and cakes, and of course Soller for bread, lunches, Eroski supermarket, and a fine family meal at Bar Molino. This was a memorable family event in fine house with magnificent surroundings.

Beautiful House

We were a group of 10 from ages 5yrs to 80yrs & we all had a wonderful week at this lovely house. It is beautifully decorated, with lots of places to relax inside & out. The pool & the view from there is fantastic. Trinidad had provided a huge crate of local sweet oranges for us which the kids loved juicing every day. We took inspiration from previous reviews and booked a chef to cook paella 1 evening for us all. This was a great experience & absolutely delicious. It was expensive but we ate it for lunch over the next 2 days. Highly recommended!

Awesome property

Everything about the property was first clsss. Will go again. Fantastic for a reunion to attend a family wedding. Quiet with the feel of the country but easy access to Soller on foot. Excellent farm shop nearby. Pool is awesom with many areas in and outside to relax and chill out. Will go again thats for sure.

Wonderful place

Our group of 14 had a fantastic time here. It was a 20 minutes walk into Soller centre. 5 minutes walk away was a fantastic farm shop for buying food, beer, wine and ordering superb croissants. The house has everything for making your stay memorable. Inside it was eccentric and completely charming, with some gorgeous furniture, pictures etc. The house is surrounded by land offering you an array of seating/lounging options. A magnificent (and deep) pool completes the picture. The surrounding area is a walker's paradise. Finally a word about our delightful host, Trinidad, who did everything to make our stay a special one.

Wonderful Christmas in Soller

We had an absolute wonderful family Christmas at Trinidad and Stephen's lovely property. They were lovely and responsive hosts who live right next door and and helped with small questions and requests instantly. The views from the house are gorgeous - orange groves to one side and mountains to the other - and Soller is just a short walk away. Great hiking in the area as well. Would definitely come back!

Magical farmhouse

A wonderfully unspoilt and peaceful Mallorcan farmhouse enclosed by an amphitheatre of beautiful mountains and set in its citrus groves and vineyard. Soller is close by as is the village of Fornalutx (well worth a visit) and the house is very well located for exploring the northwest coast and for walking - the GR221 passes very close by. There is also a local co-op with great fruit and vegetables and we had delicious freshly squeezed orange juice every morning using oranges from the gardens. Stephen and Trinidad were very welcoming and helpful and we had a wonderful time. We could have stayed much longer!

Fantastic family holiday

The property easily accommodated 13 people. There are plenty of outdoor spaces, lounges and rooms and so it is very easy for everyone to come together to socialise but also to find some quiet space. The internet works very well and the range of TV channels was great (Wimbledon, Cricket World Cup and Tour de France)! Having said that most of the time was spent outside and enjoying Mallorca. The pictures do not do the house justice. The swimming pool area is lovely with great views of the mountains. There are plenty of shaded outdoor areas which are well lit for the evenings. The kitchen is small but well equipped and there is plenty of crockery etc for 13 or more. The design of the house keeps it cool in Summer. One of the bedrooms has AC as well as the 2 sitting rooms. A number of the bedrooms have ceiling fans, which worked well for me. It is a 5 min walk to the local Co-operative which is a well stocked shop with local produce. We enjoyed the local Rose at 2 Euros a litre! It is about 15 mins to walk to the centre of Soller. Plenty of gift shops/ cafes and restaurants as well as the tram. There are 2 bike rental places on the way in to town- Tramuntana tours and Kilometro Cero. The main Tramuntana tours shop is at the Port. I used both, both excellent. Also take away and delivery pizza from Cafe Circulo in the square was pretty good. We had Paella at the vila, cooked by Juan. It was a lovely experience- ask the owners for details. We also chartered a boat for the day using Bonnie Lass Charters. Again excellent. I think market day in Soller is Saturday and Pollenca Sunday. The owners, Stephen and Trinidad were very easy to deal with and everything dealt with very efficiently- many thanks to them.

Magical!

Can Posteta was the perfect villa for our family holiday. 11 of us had the most wonderful time here, it's a house with so much charm and character. We didn't feel overcrowded at all, as there is an abundance of different areas to enjoy your time at Can Posteta, whether you're feeling sociable (lovely large dining tables), playful (ping pong table was brilliant), or want to relax by yourself in the shade (the side veranda was my favourite!). The salt water pool was excellent, and the poolside area was a real suntrap (with two umbrellas ready to provide shade). The ground floor bedroom and bathroom was perfect for my 90 year old grandad. We loved strolling down to the Cooperative each morning for fresh croissants and local produce (5 mins walk away!), and the walk into Soller is pleasant too. We thoroughly recommend Juan and Justine's homecooked paella, it was incredibly delicious and such a treat to have them cook it for us at the villa. Can Posteta is a very special place, thank you Stephen and Trinidad for a wonderful holiday!

An enchanting place to stay

We met for a family reunion, 14 of us, ranging in ages from 77 to 5. The farm house was an ideal choice. For our first and last night Juan and Justine cooked for us delicious paella and then a chicken dish. Otherwise we cooked for ourselves or eat at the local Bar Molino. Indulged in a lot of walking, some cycling for two enthusiasts, visits to the beach and coaststeering for the brave. But mostly it was a great place to hang out, make orange juice and lemonade from the local produce and relax and be together. Thank you Stephen and Trinidad for sharing your magical home with us.

Amazing

We spent 1 week at Stephen’s and Trinidad’s place with 9 adults and 4 teenagers/ children. We had a terrific time. Location is excellent, the house is very spacious and also offers enough “private” space, it is very well equipped, and the pool is great. We can highly recommend and would love to return.

Magical and Unforgettable!

I don't even know where to begin. Stephen, Trinidad and C'an Posteta exceeded any expectations we had! We were on a week-long family/friend vacation but with the added bonus of also hosting our wedding at C'an Posteta. There were 16 people staying at the farmhouse and it was perfect for our needs. Photos do not do enough justice to the property. The owners live next door and while you are left alone to enjoy your holiday should anything go wrong they are extremely helpful and very friendly. The house is so spacious and tasteful but the stunning views in all directions really made it an outstanding place to stay. We had many happy hours round the pool and on the terraces in the evening. The house is very well equipped with all the supplies you can imagine, especially for cooking for a large group. Trini greeted us with a fridge filled with ice and water as well as with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers to congratulate us for our upcoming nuptials. A beautiful and thought detail that did not go unnoticed. There are so many beautiful nooks and spaces in this house to relax. Perfect for anything you may want, sunny spots, shady spots, quiet, noisy. This house seriously has it all! The salt water pool was amazing and definitely got the most use. The house feels private and secluded yet you're a quick 15 min walk into town which we loved! My wife (fiancé then) and I decided to host our wedding at the farmhouse. It was a small and intimate affair and it was perfect. We had a total of about 45 people at the wedding and the space allowed for wonderful interaction. Stephen and Trini went above and beyond in helping us prepare for the big day. I can't say enough about how great they were. Stephen even went as far as driving us around Soller to pick up supplies for a little pool party we hosted the day after the wedding. Aside from how great the actual house is, they offer great services for their guests. As previously stated, we hosted a small pool party and were able to arrange for someone to come and cook the most delicious paella right at the house. Since we had a large party, we were able to get someone to come and clean the house for us. Any questions we had were answered very quickly. There’s also a wonderful local farmers co-op where you can buy fresh produce and wine. Speaking of wine, if you get a chance to talk to Stephen, he can certainly recommend some great wines! All in all, one of the best vacations we've had! We can’t wait to go back!

Can posteta is full if character, spacious snd well situated.

The property was perfect. Lots of space for 6 adults and 3 children under 6yrs. Layout well thought through with room to have your own space. Swimming pool was great-salt pool so no sore eyes. Perfect. The property was really well situated, 10mins walk to centre soller and 15mins car journey to puerto soller. The scenery and mountains are stunning. The property relaxing and while close to town you feel private and secluded. Kitchen small but well equipped with a large table to eat outside. Family and children had a great time and we will definately be staying again.

A spacious, comfortable and traditional finca full of charm.

C’an Posteta is a well equipped house set in beautiful grounds conveniently close to Soller, Fornalutx and Biniaraisx, all of which are well worth visiting. They offer excellent sightseeing and several good eating places mostly within walking distance of the house. Our fortnight passed in a most enjoyable peace and quiet. Help was close at hand and immediate if anything needed attention and there was very little call for help. The house offered a great choice of sunny and shady spaces in which to relax in its mature garden.

Fantastic!

With a golden wedding to celebrate, three generations of our family - aged between 7 and 81 - spent a fabulous week at the Ca'n Posteta. The house was extremely well equipped, clean, cosy and full of charm. We loved the different outdoor seating areas, perfect for relaxing, eating, drinking and watching the sun rise and set. Thank you very much to Stephen, Trinidad and Charlie for being so helpful during our stay. We had a truly memorable holiday and a magical family celebration.

Wonderful property, fantastic location

We were 2 families with adult children, 10 of us in total, & the farmhouse accommodated us perfectly. There are plenty of different communal areas, with many options for al-fresco dining. A great outdoor kitchen & the main kitchen is extremely well equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. The salt water swimming pool is well looked after & there are plenty of sun beds. Soller is a pleasant 15-20 min walk, with some great shops & bars; we all enjoyed the short walk early evening for beers & cocktails! Plus the co-operative is only a 7-8 min walk for daily supplies. Fornalutx is a must. A stunning village, a short drive up into the hills. Stephen, Trinidad & their daughter Charlie were perfect hosts. Very relaxed & helpful. They made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this wonderful property.

Amazing stay in a beautifull, soulfull farmhouse

What a place! So full of charm, beauty and soul. All the amazing different outdoor areas, lovely pool, charming bedrooms. We celebrate our 25. wedding aniversery with the dinner table set under the trees with the nice lights and atmosphere making it night we will remember for the rest of our lives. And Charlie (Stephens daughter) was so helpfull with everthing from lending us her basil plant, to tablecloth for our celebration dinner. My only complaint is that the pictures doesn't do the place justice ;) Thanks for everything, we adore this place!

Exactly as described. Lovely house great location.

We were a group of 9 friends with 5 young kids between us. The farmhouse strikes the perfect balance with its rustic charm yet modern, clean and well maintained facilities. The house easily had enough bedroom, bathroom and living space to accommodate us comfortably. The communal areas indoors and outdoors were great for eating and socialising as a large group. The kitchen was really well equipped. There was always somewhere you could sit and relax in the sun or shade no matter what time of day it was. We particularly enjoyed sitting towards the front of the house in the evenings with the lovely outdoor lighting watching the sun go down over Soller and the surrounding mountains. The location of the house was perfect for a leisurely walk into Soller and also access to the high mountain trails and cycling routes. Stephen and Trinidad were really welcoming as hosts. They responded quickly to queries we had prior to arriving and also made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We would highly recommended this farmhouse!
