Extremely comfortable self contained apartment, comprises 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Fully fitted kitchen including washing machine , fridge freezer, microwave , oven & hob. Living room with smart TV which provides Netflix, plus DVD and bluetooth stereo. Free WIFI included. Board games, books & DVD´s are provided. We also have a beginners surf board for your use as well as body boards, fishing nets & buckets & spades and snorkels. The terrace provides outside dining for 4 people overlooking the garden and out over the coastline, BBQ & garden! We can also offer a beginners surf board, for those that want to have a go. Welcome pack provided on arrival which includes water, milk, tea, coffee, juice, biscuits, crisps and wine.

The property has amazing sea views, and is only 2 minutes to the beach. Childrens play park. Nearest restaurant is only a minutes walk away Ideal for windsurfers, surfers, kitesurfers, hang gliders & paragliders, cyclists and walking holidays. The apartment is also has wheelchair access. The village is only 5 minutes drive away where you will find a good range of restaurants and cafes suiting all tastes, surf schools and three supermarkets

A Perfect Spot

We LOVED our stay here. Lynne is the perfect host and her property is fantastic - pretty, spacious, well-equipped, cool inside, even on hot days, and the garden was so appreciated. The views out across Famara are stunning, and we saw some incredible sunsets. We’ll be back.

Wonderful location!

The apartment has amazing views over the bay of Famara, with towering cliffs behind. We could watch the surfers and kite surfers from the garden. The weather was sunny, warm and windy. We hired a car so we could go sightseeing, and visited the Sunday market at Teguise. I think a car is more or less essential to get around. The area seems very unspoilt compared to the big tourist resorts , which we preferred. We had spent the previous week in Playa Blanca. The apartment is very well equipped and the Welcome pack was much appreciated. Lynne was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. The only thing that could be improved is the windows which are very hard to reach and impossible to open in the bathrooms, so the steam can’t escape after a shower. But overall this was a minor niggle when everything else was really good.We only stayed for 3 nights and I wish we had been booked for longer. We can definitely recommend this apartment, and would like to return in the future.

Perfect base for our stay in lanzarote

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay in lanzarote with kids. The apartment is cozy and well equipped. The kids loved the garden and the trampoline. We could walk to the beach. Farmara is a great spot to explore the island. Definatly a Place to return to!

Lovely apartment with great views

The apartment is very well kept and has great facilities - it's a lovely place to spend time. We were here for 10 nights and had a great holiday, making the most of the surf on Famara beach in the mornings and evenings and exploring the island during the days. It's a great location base for getting around and there are a couple of really nice restaurants in Caleta de Famara, which is just a short walk along the beach. Lynn made us very welcome and was available to answer any questions but left us to get on with our holiday in peace. We would definitely come back - highly recommended!

The best spot on the island

After 20+ years of visits to Lanzarote, why would a couple visit the very same apartment in Famara every year, sometimes twice a year? The 10 minute walk to the loveliest beach in Lanzarote. The spectacular views of the plains, the volcanoes and the islands of Graciosa. The proximity of Teguise, ancient, historic, capital of Lanzarote with its enchanting buildings, romantic restaurants and exotic shops. The towering, brooding cliffs. The quaint, unspoiled fishing village of Caleta de Famara, a short walk along the beach. Picturesque sunsets seen viewed from the terrace over a glass of Lanzarotean wine. The comfortable, spacious, well equipped and attractively furnished apartment. Why wouldn't you go back? We’ve stayed in lots of other places on the Island including the Arracife Gran and LagOmar but this is the best. I’m getting all excited now about our return visit in the Autumn.

The perfect Lanzarote apartment

A perfect location and lovely hosts are just two of the reasons we keep returning to this apartment. We've been going to Lanzarote for about 8 years now and after ok experiences for the first couple of years in other properties we finally found this apartment and have been staying there ever since. The place is huge, with a massive garden, living area and kitchen. There is a large selection of DVDs and books, a hi-fi you can plug your iPod into. Just a 3 min walk away there is a small shop where you can get fresh bread and breakfast stuff, and for dinner the village of Famara has a few really good restaurants to choose from. The setting is perfect also, with stunning views over Famara beach and the Macizo of Famara cliffs rising up just behind the apartment and you could not ask for a better spot to watch the sunset from every night with a cold drink in your hand! If you are into surfing it is possible to check the surf without leaving the garden, and walking to the beach with your board only take 5 mins. The owner Lynne is the perfect host, always on hand just upstairs if you have any questions but otherwise happy to let you get on with your holiday in peace.

Much Better Than a Hotel

Great apartment with wonderful views and facilities. Lynne is friendly, helpful yet discreet and all our requests were no trouble to her. A great base to have a super holiday whether you're a lazy tourist, surfer, walker, cyclist or sun worshiper. You need a car! (best deal was with Goldcar); for food shopping (Eurospar supermarket on road out of Arrecife....prices lot lower than UK...). Enjoyed our BBQs in landscaped garden overlooking beach and later would relax with a dvd from the vast collection. Want to visit again and I wouldn't consider a hotel after being here. We will definitely return.

Great apartment with fab views!

We stayed at the apartment earlier this year and had a great time. We were made very welcome by the owner who had lots of advice about things to do and places to visit on the island and also advice about kite surfing and surfing spots which was one of the reasons for our visit. They supplied a 'welcome pack' of food and drink . Their daughter also very kindly helped me with my Spanish! Although the owners live 'on site' they weren't at all intrusive but were happy to chat if we sought them out. The apartment is very well equipped and has tv,dvd and video so great if you have children with you or if you want to watch kite surf/surf dvds. There are lots of videos,dvds and books available in the apartment. The kitchen is better equipped than most rental properties we've stayed in - you can actually cook a meal and not just warm up a pizza! Outside there are views of the ocean and a walk down a footpath to a swimming pool. The beach is a short walk away. There are a few restaurants in the town. Blue painted place by water (don't remember name) was excellent with friendly staff who were very good Spanish teachers who didn't mind me practicing the language on them. We would definately stay in the apartment again.

Fantastic place

This place is fantastic - I couldn't stop smiling the moment we turned the corner onto the terrace!! Its beautifully furnished with literally everything you could possibly need, even down to candles and fairy lights! The location is amazing, with lovely views of the sea, cliffs and landscape. We spent hours star spotting on the terrace in the evenings, after a stroll down to the local fish restaurants in town. I can't describe how beautiful Famara is and Lynne's apartment provides a lovely peaceful setting to enjoy it! 100% recommended! .... Emma & Chris, Manchester

Fab Famara

My boyfriend and I just had the most amazing week at Lynne's beautiful apartment. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a bit of piece and quiet, and with the backdrop of the mountains it's gets quite spectacular around sunset. Everything you could need is supplied, and there is also an great library of books, DVDs and games. The apartment is huge and very tastefully decorated. Lynne is the perfect host, always on hand if you have a question but completely hands-off otherwise. After staying in a few other self-catering places in Famara I can honestly say this is the best, and the only place I'll be staying from now on

Perfect

We spent three fantastic weeks at Lynne 's lovely house. Lynne could not have been more helpful before, during or after our stay. She was able to help with all enquiries, requests or questions. The house gives you a home from home feeling, the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The house has a bathroom and a shower wet room that was brilliant. The accommodation has been thought about carefully and made to fit your needs. The garden has the trampoline which our kids bounced on every day. The garden with great views to the beach was lovely to use at the end of a hot day reading under the pergola on the sun beds and the area itself it quiet and away from the touristy buzz of the more commercial resorts. The boys both had several surf lessons with Maxi, (Lynnes son) who was very good with them and we recommend him highly - You can hire body boards or surf boards in the village and also wet suits if you need them. The beach is less than a 10 min walk away or you can drive down in the car. The local supermercado (supermarket) is a 5 min walk away and open 8am till 9pm in summer months. The harbour behind the towns high street is great fun to swim in quite safely, children jumping in and playing in the water. The little cafes in the town really are a delight and it is so beautiful in its own way. We loved it and if you don't want the hussle of the bigger resorts then stay in Famara - it was just wonderful. Once again lastly, our thanks to Lynne.

Great peaceful location

Just come back from the most relaxing holiday ever. Spent two weeks here with friends so the men could surf. Fantastic uncrowded beach. Great accommodation equipped with everything you need. Lots of space both inside and out. We hired a car which was great for going to the beach and trips out. There is a local supermarket but it is poorly stocked and expensive. Restaurants In Famara are good but it is a fair walk. Sol restaurant excellent for fish and steak and great value. Lynne the owner was most helpful.

A beautiful place to relax and experience Lanzarote

We found everything as described and the garden is even better than on the photos. Great view and a lot of space. Our son loved to play there in the morning. Everything was well prepared and clean. Communication was always easy and nice. If we come back to Lanzarote, we will definately try to stay there again. Awesome Place!

Un cocon avec vue panoramique

Un véritable havre de paix, très confortable, bien décoré avec une vue panoramique omniprésente depuis la terrasse, le salon ou la cuisine. Bercé par le bruit des vagues, idéal pour décompresser, méditer, lire ou descendre surfer sur la plage directement sur le bon côté de la plage. Un must pour découvrir Famara. stunning view with little insight from the outside

Tastefully furnished bungalow with a well-tended garden and a stunning view from the terrace table through the garden on the sunset above the mountainside next to the ocean. The details of arrangements were just perfectly balanced. The bathrooms are plain and fully functional and clean, the kitchen well equipped, with a large refrigerator. The hosts were very friendly and ready to help with any question. We felt completely comfortable and have totally recovered. Thank you so much again, Lynne! Hope to be there soon again...

Amazing Apartment and an amazing host

The apartment is stunning and includes everything you need and more. It is super tidy, cosy and makes you feel at home instantly. We even had a welcome package waiting for us with orange juice, milk, cookies, chips and wine - super thoughtful! Lynne is an outstanding host, who really takes care of her guests. We have been renting our apartment for the last few years. We also live in Famara right next door, so are always on hand, should you have any queries or, need local advice or restaurant recommendations! My children also live in Famara, Tom & Maxi, the eldest are keen surfers & kite surfers, so are on hand to guide you to the nearest & best wave breaks. Max is also a qualified surf instructor and International lifeguard, so can offer lessons if required. Tom owns a local popular restaurant in the village. When Paloma and Sienna are here for the Summer they are on hand to babysit if required

Famara is a really special place, surrounded by stunning scenery & uninterrupted views so Its lovely to see guests enjoying the area & having a great holiday. Its really rewarding to see the same people come back year after year.

Why they chose this property

Driving down the road the Famara beach I always look forward to coming home. Breathtaking views of the sea with the volcanos in the background, its just very hard to beat. Being a National Park that view will never change which is a rare find in this climate.

If you want the nightlife its only a 20 minute drive away, & only 20 minutes walk away are some fabulous waterfront restaurants, so you never feel cut off.

What makes this property unique

Being here for the majority of 20 years the kids have grown up with the sea and sports, something I know most families enjoy with their own children whilst on holiday.
