About this property

Set to one side of the unmade farm track to Lower Tresmorn farm, the cottage is surrounded by a secluded lawned and fenced garden with amazing uninterrupted views to the cliffs. A 10 minute walk down the track will take you to some of the most beautiful and unspoilt scenery on this coast. A longer walk will take you to Crackington Haven or you can drive there in 5 minutes. Stay in touch with the world if you wish with free unlimited WiFi.
7 nights minimum stay in high season, Short stays in high season only considered last minute.
Regretfully we cannot accept dogs.
Electricity is metered and you pay for what you use, rather than building it into the cost. [However 'Off peak'/night storage heating electricity is included from September until the end of April] First basket of logs supplied.

Cornwall break between Boxing Day and New Year

A great way to spend that rather flat post-Christmas period with a few coastal walks and pubs and that lovely log fire! Hope to be back again soon.

Wonderful cottage

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location

We loved staying here with our two young boys. The cottage is stylish, very comfortable and well equipped with everything that you might need. The bed mattress is extremely comfortable and all bedding is of a very good quality. We really enjoyed going to sleep each night in such peaceful surroundings. Needless to say, the location is amazing.

Marvelous Views

This was a cute old but but very well maintained, clean and comfortable cottage with the most fantastic views across the Cornish countryside and coast. If you want a quiet, peaceful location this is the place to be and it has good access to the coast path.Rachel our host was great, most accommodating and on hand if needed. We had a great stay at Lower Tresmorn Farm Cottage

Christmas 2023

We had a wonderful 3 day break over Christmas. Although the weather was very wet, windy and foggy we were able to enjoy ourselves in such a beautiful cosy cottage. The log burner was in full use! Love to return one day in the summer to enjoy the beautiful views which we missed this time.

The cottage is clean and comfortable and has everything needed. The views from the garden are wonderful and the location is very peaceful. We enjoyed being able to walk down to the coast path via the footpath that starts at the farm and taking our young daughter to see the cows.

St Genny's stay

My partner and I stayed a week in this delightful and cosy little cottage. The location is stunning - exactly as described on the web site. Rachel and Chris were friendly whilst keeping a sensible distance due to Covid - which was appreciated. The cottage is close to the cliff path so a beautiful place to walk from. I would strongly recommend a break here if you want to be away from it all in a clean, comfortable home from home.

Great Rural Family House

If you are looking to get away from it all, in a lovely cottage, with amazing views, then this is the place for you. The cottage was well maintained and had everything we needed as a holiday base. We spent most of our days out on adventures, but when we were at the cottage we had plenty of space to rest inside and glorious views outside. The walks to and along the coastal path were amazing and Chris the owner was so helpful and friendly whenever we saw them. This was a fantastic holiday find for anyone who wants to get away from it all.

Very comfortable cottage

The cottage is very comfortable and ideal for a couple or a family looking for a quiet location. The views from the cottage are stunning and there are great walks in the area. The hosts are very welcoming and the wifi and TV etc works well.

Well satisfied

Our stay was shortened due to the virus crisis. The cottage is well equipped, clean and with the log burner, warm and comfortable. Need to be patient finding the cottage as the owner says the sat nav doesn't quite get you there. As the picture of the property suggests, you are a couple of miles away from the nearest shops and local beach but if the kids like the open countryside, there are bags of open space to run around. The views are delightful. Communication was excellent throughout. The owners are on hand to make sure you have settled in and their E mails with copious information were extremely helpful. The property provides an excellent launching point for Bude and Port Isaac . It would be nice to go back when things return to normal and I wish the owners well for the future.

We spent a wonderful few days at Chris and Rachel’s lovely cottage. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The wood burning stove proved to be very welcome and was on when we arrived. We loved the cosy evenings in front of it as the weather was quite wild. The cottage is part of the farm and as a Londoner I love being able to stay somewhere where the owners have such a deep connection with the land. It’s a truly beautiful spot. I heartily recommend this cottage.

This is a perfect cottage which has all the modern day requirements needed with out any loss of cottage charm. Super and cosy on any colder night with easy to use log burner . Perfect location with stunning views . Looking for peace and tranquillity here is where it’s at .
