Really peaceful for such a central location. A very clean and charming holiday home with everything you need.Brilliant owner with great communication and instructions.
What a lovely place
Stayed 2 nights & loved it, impeccably kept cottage, all the facilities we needed, great central location & 5mins walk to the coast with pubs restaurants & eating places ;-)
Book this cottage you won’t regret a thing, Dylan our host was great & we WILL be goin back
We stayed in this lovely seaside property for 3 nights, and already can't wait to come back. The location is perfect. Very close to shops, restaurants and just a short stroll to the harbour.
The property itself was spot on. Well designed, really well furnished and had all the bits you'd need to make it feel like a home from home. We found it perfect for a couple, but think it'd work ideally as well for a small family too. Cosy yet spacious. Overall, a really lovely, welcoming and comfortable place to stay and relax.
Ideal location for exploring the whole Northumberland coastline. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit not just Seahouses, but all the surrounding beaches, castles and small towns.

Had everything we needed and more. Very well equipped and literally 2 minutes walk to the first of many eating/dining options. Nicely decorated with a high standard of finish. Very helpful owner who gave easy instructions on how to reach the property and we felt comfortable that if we had have needed any help/guidance then they would have responded quickly. Seahouses is a lovely place with miles of beautiful beaches and is a must see destination.
This was a perfect stay, the accommodation is very clean, cosy and comfortable. Well equipped within an amazing location. Car parking is a bonus. Dylan and Karen very helpful, if and when required. Many thanks, would not hesitate to recommend.
Really can’t fault this property and Dylan for his prompt and friendly communication. Quiet bungalow near to town centre, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Will definitely return!
The cottage is in a great location, out of the main hustle and bustle but only a minute or 2 away from the centre and so handy for all the shops and restaurants. The Rolling Pig deli at the end of the alleyway is great for Bacon butties and coffee in a morning and nice items for your picnic lunches.
The Cottage was cosy and though small, it has plenty of living space room and we all had somewhere comfortable to lounge on an evening. The free wifi and tv package was great to have and worked really well. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.
The contact with the owner was really good and though we didn't need to, we knew we could have just rung if there had been any issues.
All in all, a great place to stay at a great price.

The cottage is in a fabulous location, so handy for Seahouses village and has everything you could need
We had a lovely week really enjoyed our time there it was situated perfectly for everything and the south facing garden was such a bonus. The glorious sandy beaches within a 10 minute walk where you can walk along the golden sandy beach for miles to Bamburgh and Beadnell. The boat trip to see the Farne Islands goes from the harbour which is 5 minutes walk. We were so lucky with the weather it's a beautiful area and we hope to return again one day. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, like a home from home.
My family and I had a fantastic time staying at Little Haven over the weekend. Very cosy and clean inside and lots of games and jigsaws which my children loved. Would highly recommend, we would love to come back again in the future.
Great cottage, great location and close to town centre. We were very impressed from our first contact with the owner who was really friendly and helpful and answered all questions quickly . The cottage is well furnished, immaculately clean and very comfortable. There plenty of space to relax, comfy beds, wifi and a good TV package. This was our first trip to Seahouses and will not be the last, we will definitely try to book this venue again in the future. Well done the owners on providing such a great well maintained cottage.

Comfy and spotless
Lovely place to stay, great for the two of us. Brilliant location, lots to do, easy to walk to Bamburgh and Beadnell. Local shops, restaurants great. Nice to know Dylan around if any problems, and directions, info re parking all fine. Might be old fashioned, but a visitors book would be good. 😁 Low Newton beach also fantastic. Thanks for providing great holiday accommodation, hope to return. 👍

Well equipped little cottage with everything we needed.
Cottage is set back from main road so heard no traffic noise. Cottage had everything needed for a short stay and a few thoughtful details beside. Kitchen recently kitted out with functional IKEA accessories, good toaster, microwave, oven and grill. No washing machine but laundrette nearby if that was problem for you. WiFi was superb, with loads of Freeview TV (and cable sport if that’s your thing). Good electric shower and electric heating (although we were there on the hottest week of the year). Parking is tight so if you have a wider than normal vehicle plan on parking it elsewhere-this was the only drawback and it is well warned in the documentation for the property. Great location for all of the Northumberland coast and more.
Would heartily recommend for couple or small family needing a holiday base.

Lovely little cottage...
Lovely little cottage, very nicely decorated/furnished and kitted out with all you need for your stay. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, close enough to the sea and with a handy supermarket within a few mins walk. Only small downside was the available parking. Great value for money.

Home from home.
The property couldn't be more perfectly positioned, set far enough back from the main Street to give you your well earned peace and quiet but also leaving you within strolling distance of anything you require.
The property itself has that duality of feeling well decorated and loved without making you feel like you need to walk on eggshells for fear of making a mess.
We'll definitely be back.

Lovely cottage perfect location
I stayed at little haven for a few days, it was lovely cosy comfy cottage with everything you need. Plenty space for a family, big screen tv and DVD player and also a cupboard full of games for the kids. It's about a 5 minute walk from the harbour with shops and facilities within 50 yards! Perfect location you couldn't be any closer! Thank you for a wonderful stay. And I will say make sure you visit bamburgh castle it is beautiful and the views from the beach are gorgeous. Thank you again

Everything we needed was in the cottage which is lovely and in the center of town within walking distance of everything, shops, restaurants, pubs, harbour and beach. We walked to beautiful Bamburgh castle one day and the weather was great all the time we were there. The cottage is in a quiet area and contains everything one needs, is clean and a lovely place to stay.

Cosy and well-loated
Our hosts made us feel very welcome through all communications, and the cottage was charming. It's nicely located close to all of Seahouses, yet sheltered a bit away from the wind. We found that the cottage had everything we needed. It felt like a place the owners want to take good care of both for guests and for themselves! We'll definately be back.

Ideal central and cosy location
More roomy living area than pictures appear. Close to all shops, amenities, harbour and beach. The weather prevented the Farne islands trip we hoped for, but still plenty to do with my 7 year old. Would highly recommend this property.

About the host
Hosted by Dylan Younger
I am a 47-year-old self-employed father of two children, and I own the cottage jointly with my partner, Karen. We love the relaxed pace of the life in Seahouses, the cosy old-fashioned pubs, the superb wildlife and birdwatching, the stunning castles and coastal views and the countless beautiful walks along the beach and the dunes.
Why they chose this property
Karen and I both have fond childhood memories of holidays on the beautiful Northumberland beaches. We bought the cottage in 2002 when our children were very young and have enjoyed many special family holidays in it since. With lovely walks, spectacular views and acres of sandy beaches just a few minutes' walk from the front door, we have found it a cosy and convenient base from which to explore our favourite part of the British Isles. This part of Northumberland is one of the most unspoilt areas of England, and its rich wildlife and cosy character pubs and restaurants have kept us returning year after year. My whole family has, time and again, relished the relaxed pace of life offered by a break in Seahouses.
What makes this property unique
In Seahouses, the stresses & strains of working life ebb away in a beautiful harbour village which has lost none of its historic charm. The shopping centres of Newcastle and Gateshead are less than an hour's drive, but also a world away. The addition of an indoor heated pool and gym at the village leisure centre has proven an added attraction, while the village's proximity to the pretty market towns of Alnwick (recently voted as the town with the best quality of life in the UK!) and Berwick, has been a great benefit. We have travelled further afield to Edinburgh (90 minutes' drive) to see the castle and the zoo, but Seahouses itself offers so much, with a warm friendly welcome, a smattering of unusual craft and gift shops, some superb pubs offering great value food & two Indian restaurants.
