Barbreck Cottage is on the south side of Campbeltown Loch. It is conveniently placed close (1 mile) to the centre of Campbeltown with its full array of services, but has uninterrupted views over the water towards Davaar Island and Arran. Spectacular coastal scenery is only a short drive away in several directions. The house was recently refurbished and extended. Lovely spacious cottage in fabulous location looking directly on to the Loch

This property is extremely spacious, it has 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and would easily accomodate a large family.Everything you could need was provided and to top it off there were gifts left for us of wine, chocolates, ice cream and a bottle of milk.Lovely touches and great communication with both the housekeeper and the owner when necessary.Just a short lochside walk into the small town where there are a few pubs and eating places.All in all we feel this property is very good value for money and would definately recommend it!

A spacious comfortable cottage with wonderful sea views

We spent three most enjoyable weeks here in November. It's a brilliant location right on the sea front. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished.

Lovely cottage

We booked this cottage as it was near to the centre of town which was what we were looking for. The situation on the side of Campbeltown Loch was a bonus - the view was stunning. We were very lucky that the weather was fantastic for our stay - everyday was sunny and bright. The property was lovely - it had 3 bedrooms, all a good size and 2 bathrooms. The living room and dining room were two very nice connected rooms. The kitchen we really only used for breakfast but it was well equipped. I would book the property again if we were returning to Campbeltown. The information from the host (Gavin) was excellent and we also had a local contact which was helpful.

A little piece of heaven

Despite the weather we had the most perfect stay in this cottage, the location is stunning and we were lucky enough for one sunrise over Campbeltown Loch that could be viewed from the living room, dining room, kitchen and one of the bedrooms. Highly recommend for people who love being right beside the water in a peaceful idyllic setting !

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful location

We had a great week in Campbeltown. The cottage was an ideal distance to town and great for exploring the area. There was plenty of room in the house and garden for the children to run around. The cottage is well equipped and comfy with a great collection of books.

Stunning views. Saw dolphins, seals and even an otter from the front of the house. Great paddle boarding in loch. House beautifully clean and equipped with all we needed

A lovely,clean, well equipped property in a great location. Great communication before our stay which made the check in process very easy. The parking area was suitable for one car but would have been a struggle if guests had additional vehicles. We hope to return for a future visit.

Home from Home

This is a lovely place to stay, would have stayed longer if we could and we are hoping to stay again. Everything we needed was there and despite a couple of issues around worn indicators on the cooker, we enjoyed excellent meals with friends. Local manager was more than helpful; our warmest thanks.

Tremendous location right on the water

What a great stay in this lovely house just outside Campbeltown. So much to see and do in the area - it's definitely a trek to get there, but very much worth it. Our whole family loved the week we had down there.

Barbreck Cottage

Beautiful location, well-furnished and equipped private small patio and garden. Decent TV. often faults with equipment but that is not a problem for us as we just love staying there.

The cottage is ideal with everything you need in an ideal location, I have nothing negertive to say there is even a bottle of wine and biscuits with milk in the fridge fresh flowers to greet you.. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Fabulous Cottage

Google Earth does not do justice to how fabulous this cottage is. Open the front door to a comfortable, well equipped and clean welcoming home. Three good bedrooms, two bathrooms and superb living/dining area. Overall a true gem.
