Luxury apartment located on the third floor of a building with elevator on Via San Nicola de’ Cesarini, in the heart of Downtown, a few minutes away from Piazza Navona, Campo de’Fiori (famous for its colourful open-air market), Piazza Farnese, the Pantheon, the Capitol Hill, Piazza Venezia and Trastevere. Excellent location

This is absolutely superbly located, being 5 minutes walk to Pantheon, Navona, Campo di Fiori, 10 minutes walk to Trastevere or Forum, 15 minutes walk to Colosseum or Trevi and of course overlooking the ruins and cats of Largo di Torre Argentina. There are plentiful taxis on the square too. Inside, the decor is old fashioned but clean and comfortable throughout. There are quite a few rules and things to be aware of in an old property which they tell you about on check in. The lift is very old for instance with limited capacity but can take a person and a suitcase or 2 people at a time. There are small balconies, and two small outdoor chairs provided. The balconies are west facing so get the sun in the afternoon. We very much enjoyed sitting out there watching the goings on. The kids room with the twin beds also has a balcony but you can pull shutters down to help restrict access if you would eather not have children unsupervised on the balconies. When the doors to the balcony are open the noise of the city come in, but we never really noticed noise when they were closed and we slept well. Overall, we would recommend.

Superb base for a sight seeing weekend

For a family of 4 this is an ideal base to locate yourself for everything you could need. Hosts were excellent, friendly and very helpful organising taxis for us to and from airport. We had a great stay in Rome where the apartment provided us with all you will need. The apartment itself is typical old style Italian but has all you needed. Warm, clean and provided the essentials for a 3 night stay. Would go back to same location and apartment. Great weekend. Thanks to hosts and team- excellent hospitality.

Relaxing stay in a spacious apartment

We had an amazing stay at Francesca's apartment. The location couldn't be better with access to anywhere you would want to visit in the centre of Rome within a short walk. Francesca arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport, which made things very easy, Raoni was waiting to meet us at the front door. He was very helpful and gave us a tour of the apartment and told us lots of useful local information about restaurants and local sites. We were concerned about the reviews that mention break in's, he assured us that the locks had been since changed, and that the problem had been sorted out. We didn't have any issues during our stay. We found the apartment to be fantastic. It is a lovely spacious flat with loads of character. The view over the square is fantastic and very immersive into the cities atmosphere. We were amazed at how effective the double glazing was for sound protection, & with the windows and blinds closed you would not believe you are in the centre of Roma. The AC worked well and created a place to retreat to when the streets got too hot. It could be said that the flat is a bit tired in its appearance, but we found it was just character, and not filled with IKEA style furniture, which for us added to is charm. Raoni was available on the phone if we needed him, which was only for some additional information on how the recycling worked. Roma is a beautiful city, and this apartment worked perfectly for all of our needs. We will definitely be recommending it.

Unique location above the Largo, no need to buy a ticket for the archaeological site below! Large and bright apartment we’ll situated for Pantheon, Forum, Fiori, Jewish Quarter, Trastevere within ten minutes walk as well as easy taxi and bus interchange. Great Rome sightseeing base.

Great location!

The apartment is in a great location. It is a bit tired inside but it’s a great size for a family of 4. We had an issue with the electricity tripping out. The instructions in the apartment were out of date and took a bit to sort in 40 degree heat. However the property contact was quick to respond. The kitchen is very small and not very well equipped but we only used it to make a light breakfast or sandwich. All in all I would recommend.

Superb location, a comfortable property but in need of attention.

The location could not be better. The views from the apartment are great and it is a comfortable apartment but many of the crucial facilities (such as the workability of the locks to access the building and exit the lift, the quantity and quality of crockery and cutlery, the malfunctioning dishwasher) are in serious need of attention/renewal.

Brilliant location, great apartment

Lovely apartment, maybe a wee bit shabbier irl than in the photos, but an awesome location, so handy for everything yet surprisingly quiet. It was so hot in Rome, and we really appreciated the aircon, being able to walk everywhere easily and the taxi rank just outside for when we couldn’t face the heat but needed to get across town,

Fabulous apartment

Fabulous! Loved the apartment and location was fantastic. Simone was very good to respond quickly shower needed unblocking it was done the next day. Only negative was dishwasher probably just needs a good clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. The location is perfect. Walking distance to most of the sites. The apartment was larger than it appears in the photos. The property manager was quick to respond to all of our questions and check in with Alessandro was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Large comfortable apartment with even better view

Our family of four stayed three nights. The agent communicated with us as we were delayed in arriving. He meet us at the front door when we arrived and explained everything we needed to know. The building is located in a busy square but on a large pedestrian walkway. It was also quiet. The location across the walkway from ancient ruins was wicked cool. We could also walk to many of the attractions. Just blocks away was a quiet square with many restaurants with more amazing ruins. If ever back in Rome I would try to book this apartment again.

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for in the heart of Rome. We walked to the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, The Pantheon, and the Travestere neighborhood. Grazi!

Great location, a view and a comfortable stay.

This apartment is centrally located within a fairly easy 30-minute walk of nearly of all the major sights of ancient Rome. Unlike just about all the other apartments I looked at, this 5th floor unit, overlooking the “Area Sacra di Largo Argentina” archaeological site [which dates back from 2,050 to nearly 2,400 years ago], allows one a nice wide view and setting sun, instead of an alley, other windows or a wall. Pros: This is off the street, so car exhaust – engine noises are not as pronounced as with other places. The apartment is very roomy and nicely laid out. There is only this and one other apartment on this floor with the elevator right at the front door. 3 step out balconies. Air Conditioners: 3 room A/C units with remote controls all work very well [one in each bedroom and one for the living room] cools each room rapidly and maintains good temperatures. This is a safe location as far as I am concerned, lots of people around, an outdoor restaurant feet away and 3 keys required to get into the apartment. Sidewalk door, elevator door [you need to unlock the hall door to get off the elevator], and a specialized front door key for the apartment. There are 3 local small grocery stores within a short walk. Tiger, nearly next door on the south corner (there is also a Tiger products store on the north corner), Pam – a 4 minute walk to the east towards the Monument to Victor Emmanuel and the Supermercato Carrefour Express – 3 minutes north. This is a great place to stay

Ancient Rome Apartment ❤️

The apartment was great and the location was fantastic and central to everything we wanted to see and do. The view out of apartment windows was exactly as advertised and amazing. The apartment was roomy for 2 couples. Just wish there was 4 comfortable lounge chairs in lounge room and more pillows on the beds and that the Second room bed could be converted to a double would be nice. Otherwise the perfect place to stay.

Wonderful holiday

The location could not be better! The home was lovely. There was a very sweet bar/restaurant just outside the entry that served the best drinks and food you could ask for - got at least a nightcap there every evening. We were within walking distance to most everything! Clean, comfortable and charmingly furnished. We loved it! My husband, and two grandchildren (17&18).

Everything we needed!

Beautiful apartment near cafe/reataurants/coffee/groceries/taxis! We did take taxis to sights but very inexpensive 6-10euro. We stayed in for dinner our last night and enjoyed the sunset and people passing by. Our favorite spot was looking at all the cats coming out at night and letting the people petting them. Enjoyed apartment immensely

Perfect location!

This was the perfect location for our first stay in Rome. The Pantheon was 2 short blocks away. We walked to the Colosseum, Trevi, Trastevere and the shopping district. The only place we used a taxi was the Vatican, and to he train station with our luggage. The balcony over looks the ruins, and the apartment is furnished with antiques. The one queen bed and 2 twins were perfect for my family, as well as the 2 bathrooms and a small clothes washer. I can’t wait to come back!

Magnifique!!

Excellent séjour dans cette ville toujours aussi merveilleuse, en partie grâce à ce bel appartement ancien, parfaitement situé pour gagner les points d'intérêt importants lors d'une 1ère visite, comme c'était le cas pour ma petite fille de 10 ans. Nous avons adoré l'appartement, très propre, très confortable et très "classe"! La vue sur le site archéologique de la Torre Argentina (et les chats!) est magnifique, de jour comme de nuit. Tout s'est parfaitement organisé pour l'accueil à l'aéroport, la remise des clés, les explications. Juste un petit point pourrait être amélioré: le matériel de cuisine ( une ou deux marmites pour cuire les pâtes! une râpe à fromage, un épluche-légumes...) À part cela, il me semble que rien ne manque! Merci pour ce beau séjour.

Fantastic Roman Apartment

We stayed for a week and loved everything about this apartment. The location can not be beat - easily walkable to most neighborhoods, center, Trastevere, Testaccio, Monti. There is a taxi stand within sight of the door, so getting to farther locations - Vatican, Airport etc… - was a breeze. We had some concern that the apartment could be noisy being on a big piazza but it was plenty quiet. We had also read that there had been some safety questions from previous years, but the hosts were able to answer all of our questions ahead of time and actually the building and the apartment seemed extremely safe. We were totally comfortable with our two kids. The view from the windows and balconies is really something special.

Great location

The apartment was a good mix of historic charm and functional updates. The location was great - easy to walk to many Rome attractions. We would recommend to friends and would consider staying again if we are in Rome.
