Fabulous holiday

Great villa had everything we needed, amazing views, we loved Moraira, 30 min walk away, would recommend a car though as walk back up the hill to villa is quite tough, nice beach at El Portet, but very busy all the time, excellent communication with owner Chris and her daughter Fleur, all in all my family and I had a fabulous holiday at Villa Fleur.

Very good

Host communication was excellent. Property was great, though a tough walk up the hill so a car is a must. Nice quiet area. Property very good and clean, a few unfinished touches which I am sure once finished will make this property even better.

Perfect family villa

We had an excellent stay at Villa Fluer. The villa is split across two levels which makes it ideal for two families and the views are amazing. El Portet and it’s beach are lovely. Chris was very helpful leading up to the stay, particularly around the complications/concerns that Covid brought to our group. This did not impede our holiday at all and we had a fabulous time.

Superb villa in great location

8 of us had a great time staying in this villa. Four children aged 10-15 and four young parents in their 40s. Walk down to the beach and back up was absolutely no problem. No need to reverse into the drive - can just leave cars on road at top of villa as no other traffic. Such beautiful sunsets much enjoyed over a glass of vino. Above all Chris was very helpful and answered our questions quickly and sorted everything out for us. Highly recommended!

Fabulous location

We had a wonderful stay here. The location and view are great, although a car is very helpful. All the rooms are a great size there are lots of spaces to enjoy. Chris was very helpful throughout the booking process and answered all my questions and gave me extra information . I would love to visit this place again.

A Perfect Stay

Villa Fleur is a welcoming and lovely villa, very relaxing and comfortable. Just the antidote to stressful living. Spotlessly clean and we appreciated the wine and nibbles on arrival. It is equipped with just about everything we have at home. El Portet is just outside the main hub of Moraira and utterly delightful, The owners are local and very caring. We will definitely return to Villa Fleur.

Amazing Views

Beautiful villa with amazing views. 10 of us stayed with ages ranging from 1 to 71. Only negative was the walk up the hill which for some of us was a struggle so would definitely recommend a car.

A lovely place to spend time with family

We weren’t at all disappointed as the property allowed all ten of us to have space from each other whilst the communal areas were excellent, especially the downstairs bar area. The views are wonderful across the valley but fair to say the walk back from El Portet requires stamina.

The owner really makes this property

We were first of the season after building work and I think we will all agree, they were not quite ready for us. However, Chris was superb. Out came her little address book and in came a queue of efficient trades to sort all problems. We would definitely return. The views are amazing, beds as comfy as promised, the kitchen contains useful (not holiday) utensils, kids report wifi fast & Sky good and sundown in the hot tub will not be forgotten. We upgraded to the pool heating - really worth it.

Guaranteed to leave you at peace with the world

A wonderfully peaceful villa with lovely views across the mountains and simply beautiful sunsets. Well equipped when the weather is not perfect. You definitely need heating in Spain in winter when the sun goes down. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We loved it and look forward to returning to Villa Fleur in the Summer.

Enjoyed our stay

Comfortable and well equipped. We were glad of the central heating and Sky TV as it wasn't as warm as usual but enjoyed some lovely walks. Most of the restaurants were open and offering great value menu del dia. We can recommend the local Hotel Manet for 5 course lunch for 18euros. Delicious and terrific value. The owners are doing landscaping and enlarging the terraces. It's almost finished and we will enjoy it another time. We can recommend Villa Fleur for adults and families. The owners and daughter are on hand and very helpful and considerate. Moraira is the perfect destination, everything it says on the box.

fantastic mountainous views

This was a beautiful villa, situated on a mountain, with lovely views for miles around. The villa wss very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. There is a lovely swimming pool , with hot tub nearby and and surrounding terraces with lounge chairs for lounging in the never ending sunshine. It is very comfortable and the villa lacks nothing you could possible want, sky tv, outside table tennis,

Lovely, well equipt and spacious villa

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Fleur, the rooms were big and very clean and the self catering facilities fantastic. Although there is no sea view, the view of the valley, especially at sunset is really lovely. It was very quiet in May half term. The heated pool was the highlight for our little children, and my 3 and 5 year old learnt to swim lengths of it during our stay! The owners and their family were very helpful with any information we needed during our stay. The area is fairly built up with villas, but all very tastefully done. It is a 4 minute drive to a lovely bay with a nice sandy beach and crystal clear waters. Some lovely eating places nearby including El Chamizo on the waterfront. We really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous villa... but look out for mischievous cats looking for a free meal!

Perfect for a family holiday

I booked this villa for a family holiday for 5 adults, 2 children 9 & 7 years and an infant of 18 months. The communication from Chris throughout was first class. What a great choice this villa was. The rooms and facilities are excellent, and the pool was superb (we paid extra for the heating ) which kept the pool at a constant pleasant temperature. We did not hire car but the walk into town, it is really a small village was about 10 minutes it was slightly hilly on the way back but the old ones including my wife and myself made it back with a few stops. As this holiday coincided with my 65th birthday we hired Davids Dinner Parties to cook a BBQ at the villa. We can highly recommend them as the food was excellent and plenty of it. To sum up if you book this Villa you will not be disappointed, Barrie Elson

Stunning Villa with exceptional Views

After an easy drive from Alicante airport, we arrived at the Villa Fleur which was exactly as described and very welcoming. Everything a family could want was supplied from pool towels, washing machine and a fantastic pool. We enjoyed the hot tub on the cooler April evenings before BBQ-ing and eating on one of the many terrace choices. Thank you Chris and Fleur for introducing us to a couple of local restaurants at which we shared some lovely evenings. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful break in a stunning villa that can provide everything and more that you might need to enjoy your holiday. We were not surprised at the standard of this villa having previously stayed in other villas owned by Chris and James Pacey. 10 out of 10 yet again!

Relaxed Quality Holiday.

Six adults ( well OK pensioners!) stayed here for eight days. The villa is well situated although initially not easy to locate unless you have satnav. Once there we found it well equipped ( apart from the downstairs fridge freezer which failed to work, Chris is ordering a new one, and the downstairs bed which apparently sank in the middle). The views were great with the sun arriving on the villa at around 11.am giving us a comfortable start to the day. Although other reviews mention a short walk to the beach we found it took approx 20 mins downhill and easily double that to return ( we are pensioners!). We hired cars and found the road up to the villa from the beach was mainly in first gear as the roads are bendy and quite steep in some areas. The villa was well laid out with the kitchen areas more than adequate, roomy bedrooms with a/c and overhead fans which, in October, were fine to keep the rooms cool. Outside the hot tub was welcoming and the pool refreshing. Chris and James visited us towards the end of the holiday and their daughter Fleur was present on our arrival. The area of Moraira is less touristy than the larger towns of Benidorm and Calp which we visited as they were in easy driving distance. We also spent a day in Valencia which was about an hour and a half away. We had very good tapas and meals in Moraira however we found that the further out of town, the better and less expensive the bars became. The market in Moraira on Fridays is well worth a visit, and luckily when we were there a German style beer fest was held over the weekend. Overall we would highly recommend this villa, especially if you are looking for a quiet quality break. However in my opinion a car is a must, unless you are fit and healthy and enjoy walking.

Lovely villa in stunning location

The villa was as described and everything clean and well prepared except for the child's cot which was found to be broken. The owner's daughter brought us a child's bed but we had to improvise for the first night. There were 6 adults and two toddlers in our party and the layout of the accommodation worked well. My daughter and her husband and the 2 children occupied the rooms on the lower floor whilst the other 4 adults took the upper floor. All the bedrooms are air conditioned but the other areas are not. The kitchen on the upper floor whilst not large, is adequate although the lack of a full width dishwasher is a disadvantage. There is a full width dishwasher in the outside kitchen but this is not fully equipped with pans etc. The fridge freezer in the outside kitchen is useful for storing water and other items but probably needs replacing as the temperature is not low enough. My daughter who slept in the double room on the lower floor says that the mattress needs replacing as it seems to be dipping in the middle and gave her back ache. The only room not shown in the pictures is the double room without en suite on the upper floor. The decor is disappointing and is probably the final room to be updated as all the other rooms are stylish and fresh looking. The villa is not particularly suited for toddlers but you could say that of any villa abroad. The stairs shown in the photograph connect the lower and upper parts of the villa. There are no internal stairs. The pool is a good size and cleaned on a regular basis. The area where the steps exit the pool is treacherous when wet and we had to be extremely vigilant with the children. Our solution was to place towels at that point and train the children to walk on the astro turf and then on to the edge of the pool before jumping in. The other side of the pool is tiled and is lethal for children with wet feet. It is a nice walk into El Portet where we had lunch one day and drinks one evening before walking in to Moraira. Moraira has plenty of nice restaurants and there is a good beach just beyond the Castle. There is a villa under construction below the villa and it was not possible to tell if this would obscure any views in the future. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Villa Fleur, the owners and Fleur their daughter!

Perfect!

What a great all round villa. So much space for our group with two kitchens being a massive bonus. The pool was great, as was the hot tub and we never got bored of the amazing views. It was a short stroll down the road to the lovely beach in El Portet which wasn't huge, but was perfect for us. The sea was as calm as can be, which made our first paddle boarding experience very enjoyable (must try - board hire at the beach). Moraira was a further 15 minute walk around the coastline, which is stunning. We also took the up on the recommendation to have a paella night at the villa which was brilliant. Speak to the owner for more details, but Fleur (the owners daughter) was very helpful and professional and delivered a great evening for us. And off course was the owner Chris, who couldn't have done more for us during the pre booking questions, to the booking and was even on hand during our stay. Deposit arrived back to us within a couple of days of our holiday ending making the whole trip faultless. Hope to book here again soon. :) Ashley

Well-equipped villa in beautiful area

Villa Fleur was just as described and the self-contained downstairs accommodation was ideal for two couples, one with a small child. It's an easy downhill walk into El Portet, which has a couple of nice bars and a much more expensive restaurant. We caught the kids' road train into Moraira a couple of times (the toddler *loved* it) and at only 3 euros return, it's a bargain. (It runs from the car park in El Portet to Moraira centre, but times vary.) The beaches at Calpe and Javea are nice, and we also spent a day in Valencia, which is very impressive. All in all, an attractive, spacious and well-equipped villa in a lovely part of Spain. Highly recommended.

Lovely home from home.

Just come back from a weeks stay at Villa Fleur to celebrate my 50th birthday. On day of arrival there had been a storm and it was pouring with rain and the central heating wasn't working. But we expected the weather to be a bit hit and miss at this time of year. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 as it was cold in the night but overall the villa was as expected. Clean and fully equipped. My daughter, husband and friend arranged for a chef to to come and cook on my birthday and the meal was lovely. There was also a bespoke birthday cake made for me. The villa is situated on a hill and it is a strenuous walk back up from El Portet and the town but it was good exercise and it was our choice not to hire a car. The hot tub is a lovely luxury addition and was used often by us and our children. I would definitely recommend this villa to others. In the summer months you really wouldn't need to have heating and the storm we encountered was a rarity according to everyone we spoke to so probably doesn't really matter about the heating anyway. But if going out of season, may be something you want to check on. However, the owner was very accommodating and brought us heaters when she realised the heating was not working. My grandchildren absolutely loved it and my 5 year old granddaughter declared it was 'the bestest holiday she had ever had as the villa, or villa, as she called it, felt like a proper home. That's good enough for me!! Thank you Chris Pacey, for yor excellent customer service before during and after or stay. We will return.

Relaxing Holiday

From the first enquiry the owners provided an excellent customer service, my questions where answered promptly and information was provided efficiently. Villa Fleur is an older style villa with more character than the modern boxes scattered about the hillside. We were a family of 8, for a few days 9, and had more than enough room. The bedrooms down by the pool were used by the children and their parents, giving us a bit of breathing space upstairs. Loved having the pool heated it was used almost every day, such a bonus in October. The views from the terraces are wonderful we particularly liked the little terrace with the BBQ, nice and sheltered if there was a breeze. The villa is so well equipped we did tend to eat in quite a bit, however there is an abundance of restaurants to try in Moraira, you will find the staff welcoming and polite. We walked to Moraira from the villa it took us around 20 minutes, but only because we kept stopping to admire the views. There is a mini market in El Portet where we got fresh bread, pastries and croissants most mornings. I really can't fault the villa and would highly recommend anyone wanting peace and relaxation to stay here. This is a beautiful region of Spain with a breathtaking coast line, we had a day in Denia, Javea, Calpe and Altea all stunning coastal towns and within easy reach from the Villa. This is the 4th time we have stayed in this area and love it, we will keep returning again and again.
