La nostra splendida casa si trova nel nuovissimo sviluppo Lantana, nel cuore della costa occidentale delle Barbados. La costa occidentale. conosciuta come la Platinum Coast affiancata da una serie di hotel a 5 stelle di fama mondiale, Weston St James si trova a soli 2 km a nord di Holetown ea soli 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Alleynes Bay. L'appartamento è adiacente alla strada costiera principale Highway 1 che offre una facile passeggiata al famoso ristorante e hotel Lonestar che si trova marginalmente a sud e Mullins Bay è a solo 1 km a nord - offrendo ai visitatori l'opportunità di vacanze nel cuore di uno dei le coste più desiderabili e affidabili al mondo. Il nostro appartamento ha un generoso ponte coperto e viste fantastiche grazie ai contorni naturali del sito. Lo sviluppo dispone di 2 grandi piscine a forma libera, con aree giardino e ponti coperti per un ingresso sicuro e recintato e un ampio parcheggio.

Our Stay

The property is perfectly located near the pool which made for easy access. Andrea was our contact and she was terrific. She was always available by phone and she answered promptly. We had one problem with the washing machine but things like that happens. It had no bearing on our stay. The unit is large and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

Wonderful time in Weston!

The apartment was perfect for the six of us that stayed here for 7 days. The beds were really comfortable and linens were clean. There were ample towels available, even beach towels. Access to the back porch and pool from two rooms was very convenient. The pool was very clean! If you're stuck at home, there are tons of tv options and the wifi is very stable! Other people have commented on the outside noise from the traffic etc. But since I refused to use an alarm on my vacation, hearing the husyle and bustle was welcoming and didn't interrupt. If you need dead silence in the morning, you may not like that you can hear the sounds. People in the area are extremely nice! It is very easy to catch a bus to go anywhere as a bus stop is at the end of the street. Andrea was super accommodating and helpful at any time! She helped make the trip great! I would recommend this apartment for a family for sure.

Lovely apartment

We had a lovely stay. Kids loved the quick access to the pool and only a quick stroll to the beach. Felt like a home from home. Andrea came to meet us and was absolutely lovely. Allowed us a late check out which was much appreciated. We look forward to visiting again as a family.

Lantana appartment

Lantana appartment was as advertised . Communication with owner was excellent and the property was well maintained and equipped . Only downside was noise from the main road at certain times of the day but no problem overnight . Would stay again

Family vacation in Barbados

The property is nice, fairly new with a nice pool. The condo had everything we needed: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a TV room with 2 couches. The lanai was nice and big with a walkout to the pool which was great for our 5 year old granddaughter. The condo is right beside the highway so the traffic noise was sometimes very loud both on the lanai and at the pool but we spent most days at the beach anyway.

Very Enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. We found Gemma and the housekeeper Andrea to be very helpful with any queries we had. The location was good for getting about. A short walk to the beach and a couple of local bars/rum shops nearby. We used the local buses to get about which cost about £1.30 anywhere. Holetown was about 10mins on bus or about 1hr walk along beach, with more restaurants and a supermarket. Could be noisy as it is next to the road but didn’t bother us too much and wouldn’t put us off returning.

Fabulous location

The location was perfect as easy to hop on and off the local buses to anywhere. The property was a bit tired and unfortunately next to the main road bit as we weren't spending much time there this didn't matter too much and in the master bedroom we could not hear it at night. Andrea our contact there was fabulous and dealt with problems quickly and efficiently Had a great time

Excellent location

A lovely complex excellent location just perfect for us…. Loved the lower ground floor apartment as the pool was so accessible and the outside area was fab for having a drink on an evening.

It was terrible - we had difficulty breathing immediately upon entering the property and had to leave. We spent the first.night at the Hilton and then found other accommodation for the remainder of our stay. We were unable to stay because of the air quality.

Had a blast

We had a great time despite being in Barbados when the Pandemic hit! Gemma was a pleasure to communicate with from day one. Answered all of my questions and always very prompt. Brian was amazing and very helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. Being on the main floor was so convenient with two young kids being close to the pool was nice and convenient. The condo had everything we needed and was in close proximity to supermarkets etc. The buses can get a bit loud during day but that was to be expected. We would love to visit Lantana again in the future. Thanks Gemma and Brian!!

We had a few small issues but the property manager was very accessible and helpful. Overall the unit could use some refreshing but we loved the property and the area. We felt very safe.

Very Disappointing

In desperate need of refurb.. when we arrived the dishwasher wasn’t working .. luckily the property manager managed to get the owner to purchase a new one which came the 2nd week .. there was power points in the kitchen not working so had to put the kettle on top of the microwave to boil ( which broke so had to wait for new one ) which was very dangerous when you have children 👶 door handle in bedroom hanging off curtains with hooks missing so they was hanging down .. clothes rack on patio full of rust .. they did provide new one I asked Gemma when she had last visited the property and she said she just rented it ... to be honest she really tried her best Think owners need to visit 😩

Great spot for a beautiful stay on the west side of Barbados

I LOVED it! Such a nice, clean condo with a beautiful, private outdoor space right next to the pool. A great central location for exploring the island. Some people have mentioned the road noise, yes there is some but it’s mostly the buses which is a part of Barbadian culture! From inside with doors closed you can’t hear it. It did not effect our great nights sleep!

Great stay at Lantana

Had a great 3 week stay here with family. The apartment was clean and tidy. Property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. Road was noisy but with widows and doors closed, noise was minimal.

Fantastic family holiday

The apartment was great, location was handy for the west coast of the island, everywhere was accessible! Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you needed and more! Traffic was a little noisy but certainly didn’t affect the holiday in any way!

Great base

The booking process was simple, Gemma sent detailed emails and Brian was waiting to welcome everyone. The apartment was spacious and homely, the noise is bareable and does not affect sleeping, the only problem was the dishwasher smell and the small leak but otherwise no problems and would return. Thank you

Cool breeze and worry free

The pictures of the villa and scenery, cannot fully capture how amazing this place is! Gemma is great, and very patient. He took time to answer all of my questions, and was always courteous and welcoming. He made the reservation process simple and quick. Brian was great to work with as well. He was waiting in the guard building when we arrived. Brian provided the keys, and tour of the villa. He was also very responsive in assisting our group. The villa was adequately furnished for our visit, and included access to additional linens. The direct pool to patio access is a plus! Additionally, the villa is located (walking distance) across the street from a beach, and a short (driving) distance from Massey's Supermarket. The full sized fridge, stove and oven enable you to cook your own meals, if you choose to do so. The washer and dryer are a plus as well. Finally, I became nervous while reading the prior comments about sound of the buses. The sound is quite manageable, and having air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms offset the noise. Having cool air in the main area is a commodity, as some of the other villas do not have air conditioning in their common areas. We loved this place, and will definitely stay here again!

Stunning views feels like luxury

I loved it here unfortunately we experienced some bad weather and when we were in the tv channel was not always in English so a bit of a pain with the kids but the apartment has all the latest facilities and the guy that meets you Brian is really friendly can't fault the apartment just shame about the weather

Our family of 8 had a fantastic stay at Lantana!

We loved our stay. The kids loved the pool and it was very convenient to catch a bus to go anywhere across the island. Having my morning coffee on the veranda looking out at the swaying coconut trees with the Caribbean sea in the background was some of my best moments. The washer and dryer was in very good condition and so convenient to have in the condo. The only down side would be that the bathrooms could use a refresh and update and the kitchen would benefit from some better pots, frying pans and baking dishes. Barbados is expensive for food so cooking at the condo is a must. Gemma is a real Gem (pun intended) and was very accommodating for all of our needs. Brian greeted us at the condo and gave us good advice on where to go and what to do. Overall, it was a fabulous experience. If you are thinking of coming to Barbados and you enjoy feeling like you are on a resort but still want to have the freedom to travel and shop at local markets to buy food and enjoy a local Barbadian experience then you should stay here at Lantana. Great holiday, spacious apartment & handy location

We had a wonderful two weeks holiday, the apartment was perfectly located and had everything we needed. Being on the ground floor gave us direct access to the pool, easy for nipping in and out of the apartment, and ideal if you have children, but also being on the end we were sheltered by the garden, unlike other apartments, so other guests could not sit directly in front of our patio. The lounge and master bedroom had bi-folding doors that opened out on to the spacious patio where we ate our meals, relaxed with drinks, or just sheltered from the midday sun snoozing! The apartment is very spacious, home from home, the kitchen is well equipped including a large fridge-freezer with ice machine which kept us in a constant supply of ice for our evening drinks! We slept well in the comfortable bed, all the rooms had air-conditioning, plus fans, and the bathrooms had good powerful showers. Plenty of linen and towels were provided, including beach towels. We spent many evenings at John Moores Rum Shack (5 mins walk), watching the sun set. Just next to John Moores is a small fish market where we'd pick up flying fish for dinner. Yes, the apartment block is near the road, and this is ideal if you don't have a car as the bus stop is just outside, they are regular and cheap to use so it's easy to get around the island. Obviously there is some traffic noise but it didn't bother us and at night the traffic eased off and did not disturb our sleep. If we return to Barbados we would definitely be looking to stay here again.

Could be great but was just ok.

Stayed one week in this condo and it was certainly adequate . The size was perfect and the beds comfy. However the road noise was awful. After reading previous reviews I was expecting and prepared (I thought) for it to be loud but it was very bad! The condo is truly right at the road, right beside a bus stop! The convenience of the bus stop came second to the annoyance of the noise! The condo itself is obviously a rental property as shown by it's need for freshening up. A coat of paint, black out curtains and attention to tired appliances and furniture would do wonders! Gemma and Brian were fabulous to work with and certainly appreciated them both! Would I stay there again???? Unfortunately not.

Wonderful Place!!

'My family and I spent 11 days at Lantana and we had a fantastic time! We have visited Barbados on a number of occasions as we have relatives however being a larger party this time we needed our own accommodation. Waking up on the first morning and having breakfast, then lunch and later dinner on the patio at Lantana was an amazing experience and we made the most of it. Our grand-daughter loved the pool - what a great place. We had transport but also used the buses which were frequent and easy to use. We will return!'

Fantastic place!

We had a lovely holiday at Lantana. The apartment was fantastic and everything was as described. Had everything we needed to cook and we made dinner almost every night. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Wi-fi worked really well, no problems at all. It was spacious enough for the four of us and we loved that it was literally steps from the lovely pool. There weren't too many people staying at Lantana when we were there so it was very peaceful and the pool area was never too crowded. The location of the apartment was nice, it was close to a beautiful beach but there weren't too many restaurants or shops nearby. Didn't bother us as we had a car but would have been a problem without it. The only thing we didn't like was the road in front of the building as it was very noisy. Doesn't bother when you are inside but sitting outside it is annoying at times. Bryan, who was there to welcome us, was very friendly and nice. All in all a lovely experience. We would definately recommend staying at Lantana. It was great value for the money. Thank you!
