Just perfect!

An amazing property, immaculately clean with absolutely everything you would need for a fully self catering holiday. A delightful place to holiday both as a base and for cosy, relaxing comfort on the 2 rainy days we were there. Spectacular views from the cottage inviting you to walk the western way. Couldn't have wished for a better home from home. Thanks very much Dolores for your excellent communication with us, your obvious care and attention to detail in the cottage and for providing such a wonderful holiday home.

Amazing cottage

Loved my stay at this cottage, it was clean, loved the decor and the landlady is lovely. Although I stayed alone, I was happy, exploring what Ireland had to offer, visited loads of places, the warmth of the fireplace always welcoming me back to the cottage. The views and the surroundings are spectacular, so quiet and peaceful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tranquility in the mountains.

We had a lovely quite week with the smell of peat burning and a few drinks in the evening. The weather was a bit patchy, but it was May. Dolores made check in and out very easy. Lovely quite spot with mountains around. Sheep around us and even a cuckoo at times.

Stunning views

The cottage was really clean and tidy with everything we needed for our break, the only negative for us was that as we’re quite tall, the sofa and chairs weren’t very comfortable. The photos of the views around the cottage really can’t do justice to just how stunning they are.

Beautiful spacious well equipped cottage in great location with stunning views

The photos do not do justice to this beautiful spacious idyllic cottage, more than we could have wished for. The tranquillity, comfort and magnificent scenery made us instantly relax. Full of character and very convenient for all that Connemara has to offer. Cottage is very well equipped for all your needs.

A truly beautiful place to spend a week.

This cottage is warm, well equipped and is situated in a majestic setting with mountains on one side and Lough Inagh on the other. It has the additional benefits of wifi and satellite tv. There are many walking/hiking opportunities close by. The Western Way is on the doorstep of the property. The owner was friendly and helpful. We really couldn't fault it as it fitted our needs perfectly.

even better the second time around

This was our second visit. The previous time was so good that I booked this cottage for a short stay again. The tranquility of the area is hard to beat, and the owner, Dolores was a fantastic host. Having been elsewhere since our first visit, this remains my top spot, including England, Wales, New Zealand and Athens. I cannot praise the cottage and Dolores more.

Fantastic Cottage and surroundings

Had a great week first time in Ireland. Just put your walking shoes on, and walk out the backdoor of the cottage for great walks. Or take the car for a walk near the ocean. Buy some logs on the way back and enjoy your evening at the fire. Cottage is great, some small lights in the kitchen would be nice though. The fluorescent lamp isn't that cozy... Cottage is very clean and has all you need. Dishwasher, washing machine, etc.

Everything was perfect

Immaculately maintained cottage with all mod-cons. Well stocked kitchen, lovely beds, plenty of fresh towels and all the comforts you would need during your stay. Fabulous fireplace for those cosy nights in. Internet broadband Wi-Fi was excellent with a very fast and stable connection throughout our week. Positioned in a beautiful part of Connemara with spectacular views not far from Kylemore Abbey, Clifden and Cleggan (for trip to Innismore Island). Local shop and pub is a short drive away. Thank you Dolores for a wonderful stay.

Amazing Cottage

The cottage was beyond our expectations, it is set in the most wonderful location. The scenery changed every day with the fast changing weather. The property had everything that was needed for a relaxing holiday. It was clean and tidy and was a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking and cycling. We have stayed in many family cottages over the years and this was certainly the best.

Absolutely stunning cottage

My wife and I had traveled from South Africa to enjoy some quiet rural places in Ireland, followed by stays in England and Wales. This was our first stay, and we were delighted with the cottage which had every comfort, particularly the peat fires in the evenings! The cottage was immaculately cleaned and equipped with all that we needed for our short stay. I would like to congratulate Dolores for the manner in which she handled the booking, and she was extremely helpful with regard to information about the area and places of interest. My only regret is that we were able to stay only three nights. After our departure, we stayed at a number of other cottages in Ireland and the UK, but this first stay was far and away the most memorable cottage. If ever I plan another trip to Ireland, I will make sure that I book this cottage again for the sheer beauty of the countryside and the comforts of the accommodation. Well Done to Dolores!!! Kind regards Hugh and Liz Rivers-Moore, Penny and Chris Roux

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful

From several experiences of booking accomodation on line, I have found that the pictures dont always convey the reality. Certain angles give a better impression then the reality. However The Inagh Valley Cottages does exactly the opposite. The pictures, although beautiful in themselves, do not do the beauty of this cottage or the location justice. From start to finish this holiday was perfect. Dolores was extremely friendly and helpful. The cottage was in immaculate codition and is very roomy and cosy. But its the location that sets this apart from other cottages. It is divine. The sun welcomed us as we arrived at the cottage and apart from one rainy day we were blessed with blue skies for the week. We fished once at the DerryClare Butts with the help of Colin in the Lough Inagh Lodge and for the rest of the week we visited as many beaches as possible including the beautiful Glassilaun, Omey Island and Ballyconeely. There were so many choices and all fantastic. We had 3 children with us 6, 8 and 10 who loved heading for the mountain or stream a short stroll from the cottage where the Western Way passes. It is a quite area and perfectly safe. Have no worries booking this cottage as as it does more than it says on the tin.
