Nailsworth cottage

Had a wonderful week only time we used the car was to visit a relative in Bristol so many walks to do and places to visit from the cottage the town was easily accessible with plenty of cafes & eateries and supermarkets The cottage itself was small but great for two people fitted out to a very high standard we stayed late September and still had a few beautiful afternoons on the patio on returning from a walk it would be bliss in the summer evenings too a real suntrap highly recommend

Weekend in the Cotswolds

A pleasant cottage beautifully situated within walking distance of all the lovely shops and eateries in Nailsworth. The cottage would possibly benefit from a small fireplace or wood burning stove to add a focal point in the small kitchen/sitting area during the winter months. Unfortunately a very wet weekend so the pretty outside space was not utilised. The single off road parking space situated near the cottage requires a little bit of extra skill and care to use, with a tight daily 3 point turn required to head off in the right direction, but not a show stopper by any means.

Stunning property, perfectly located

The cottage is fantastic. It is situated in a quiet area but within easy reach of a shop (that has everything you need), restaurants and plenty of stunning walks. It has everything you need in terms of pots, pans, crockery, bedding etc. It even has a bluetooth speaker, tv, washing machine and dishwasher, etc. and is well heated. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage

Lovely well appointed cottage with a good secure garden for the dog and within walking distance of Nailsworth with its interesting shops and nice eating places, many of which were dog friendly.

Wonderful little bolt hole!

This cottage totally lived up to all our expectations and more! It’s been tastefully furnished throughout & very well equipped. The outside space is totally dog proof & this is really important for us as our little jack Russell can usually find a way out somewhere! We had some very relaxing afternoons on the sun loungers without worrying about where the naughty terrier might have escaped too! I would highly recommend this cottage & we will definitely be returning very soon....... absolute gem of a find!

Compact, quiet, and comfortable

This is a lovely little cottage set in a superb location with an outlook down the leafy valley. The cottage is generally well appointed and comfortable, and has a big comfy bed. The garden is private, sunny and secure, and being a dog friendly property, this makes it an ideal garden for dogs. There is WiFi in the cottage and good phone signal in the area We found the kitchen facilities rather lacking as the kitchen is dominated by a huge "range" cooker which was of limited use, being slow to heat up, (We couldn't get the hotplates to work). The cottage has two additional gas hobs which were useful, but it does not have any grilling facilities. We enjoy cooking when on holiday so found the cooking facilities limiting. Kitchen storage comprises of open shelves only, meaning glassware and crockery remains out in the open. There is no covered cupboard storage to put things away, (so nowhere to store food away from doggy noses) The cottage is advertised as having a freezer, but this is just an "ice box" inside the fridge. Otherwise the cottage was well presented and very comfortable. It is set up the hill making it a quiet location, yet it is only a few minutes walk into the town centre. The cottage is in a good location for touring the Cotswold's, and also fairly close to the Mendip's and the Welsh Borders, and also to Bristol and Bath for those wanting to travel a little further afield.

Home Away from Home

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at PHC. Nicely secluded in the tree tops it was very peaceful and quiet. Well situated to the bustling little town of Nailsworth, which is just a 3 minute walk away, and a perfect location for sampling the many restaurants that Nailsworth has to offer, all within walking distance of this charming home. We loved the private little courtyard garden, and whiled away many hours sitting admiring the view. Hope to return next year.

Very cute cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pensile Cottage. The cottage was clean, well appointed with an absolutely super bathroom. It is enclosed meaning our dogs could wander safely. I can whole heartedly recommend this cottage for a stay in the Cotswolds.
