4/10 Poor

Tired, grubby, scruffy and lacking in equipment
The apartment is small- but we knew it would be, that wasn’t an issue. The view from the balcony was amazing so we decided to open a bottle of Cava - but unfortunately there were no wine glasses to drink from (only tumblers). Never mind! So we sat down and one of the chairs was slightly broken and nipped my skin on my leg. A twig dropped down so I looked up to the canopy above and saw an old bird’s nest!
The lounge/kitchen/diner contained a comfy settee and a table, above which were holes in the wall paper. It could have contained a few more utensils such as salad servers, a jug and a sieve. We did no cooking so I didn’t notice cooking utensils.
In the bedroom there were dust balls but no quilt cover & no spare pillows. The bedspread was mucky and I had to wash it before we could use it. There was a well-sized wardrobe in the bedroom. The bed was bouncy and if was one of us moved, the other bounced up! It was a bit like a bouncy castle.
The bathroom had no shelf for toiletries so they lived in the bedroom. There was a brilliant washing machine in the bathroom- the best thing in the apartment in my view though my husband didn’t like how it meant you couldn’t open the bathroom door fully!
We had a great stay in Sitges but wouldn’t stay here again unless the apartment were renovated or at least cleaned properly. The agent, Blausitges, apologised but insisted the issues weren’t their fault.
Just more thing- we stayed during Festa Major in mid-August. The view of the stage at Fragata was great but the music went on until at least 3.30am and made the building shake. Not anyone’s fault, but it is something to bear in mind.
