Great rental!

This little house was perfect for my family! It was close to everything we needed as well as the family we were visiting! Perfect amount of space inside and out! The house was very clean and the host communicated very well! The view from the back of the house was a great addition; absolutely beautiful! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Spring Break Get Away

We stayed two nights. It was a comfortable stay. Had it not been raining, we would have taken advantage of the nice out door patio and fire pit. Parking was plenty and easy.

Amazing house with everything you need for a perfect stay. The outdoor area is stunning, offering breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere, plenty of seating, and a lovely firepit with wood provided.The bathroom was beautifully designed and well-equipped, even offering toothbrushes and other essentials. The owner was extremely accommodating and welcoming, allowing us to check in early when possible and answering all of our questions promptly.Both the kitchen and living room were comfortable and practical, making our stay even more enjoyable. We stayed with friends, and everyone absolutely loved it.The only minor issue was that the mattresses on all the beds were a bit noisy when moving around, but they were still comfortable for sleeping.I will definitely book this place again when I return to Ravenel!

So peaceful

Loved this cottage. So peaceful. Host goes out of the way to provide little things that mean a lot. Location was perfect for us to attend a wedding on John’s Island.

Great hospitality

This is our second stay and both have been great. The home is immaculately clean, you have easy access to Charlestown and the surrounding area. We were able to check in a little early which was nice after traveling all day. Bucky has been a great host for both our stays. Would definitely stay again.

Great Trip, Will Definitely Be Back

I had an amazing stay at this property. The house has everything you need and the owner is very accommodating and flexible. The property is beautiful and not far from downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. Overall had a great time and will be renting this house again.

Super Cute Blue House

We loved the little house. It had everything we needed and was super clean. We were a little surprised to see the house was right off the main road. We were also surprised at the possibility of alligators on the property. Yes, we know they are in SC, we were just surprised. All in all it was a wonderful stay and location. And the host is amazing.

Excellent location

20 minutes to downtown Charleston and 5 minutes to The Links of Stono Ferry golf club. We also attended The PGA Championship at Kiawah Island. Very convenient to everything. Bucky was an excellent host and the accommodations were perfect. A perfect getaway weekend.

Nice secluded getaway

Our stay was wonderful. I enjoyed the bird watching and relaxing. The decor and overall cleanliness of the place was great. It was close enough to beaches and the city. My youngest loved the apple tree! Thanks to Buckey for the refreshments ready for us after the long drive!

The perfect getaway!

We wanted to see Charleston but didn’t want to pay $200+ a night to stay downtown…this place was absolutely perfect. A short drive to everything you want to see. We throughly enjoyed the patio and the backyard view. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, etc that we needed to cook a big breakfast every morning. The bathroom was stocked with towels. The WiFi worked great. I can’t think of a thing that wasn’t perfect!

Fantastic little cottage

We love this place and intend to return (again). Although right off of Hwy 17, it feels secluded and has a fantastic view of beautiful marshlands. I have to work in Charleston a few times a year and this great little place allows my wife and dogs to accompany me for a little break. Buckey is a great host and the cottage has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay.

Girl’s weekend

Very nice home, the owners have everything you could possibly need there. We had such a busy weekend wasn’t able to enjoy as much, hopefully will be able to come back soon. Location was also great, outside the hustle of the city, but easy to get everywhere.

Great house for our trip

We enjoyed the Birds of Flight Cottage-the place was just the right size for our quick weekend there-everything we needed ready upon our arrival including some cold drinks. The place was clean and cool (which was great on the hot drive in), the backyard amazing to sit and enjoy a cold drink along with the gorgeous view. The kids had a great time exploring and fishing and the owner was fantastic letting us know some good places to go to eat and tips on good fishing. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
