A charming Paris apartment - a wonderful host

We spent 25 days in this charming apartment. It was a great location for exploring Paris. The street is lined with small shops, cafes, bakeries, many different food markets, fresh fruits & vegetable stalls, and even a grocery store just a short block away. The street was filled with people and yet it is was quiet at night for sleeping. We would shop for dinner every day on our way back from our daily excursions. There are metro and bus stops just minutes away and you can get almost anywhere you want to go. There is a clothes washer and a drying rack in the apartment, but you can also do what we did. We washed our clothes in the apartment and dried them in a very nice laundromat just around the corner. It is a small apartment but I think that is normal for Paris. It worked out fine for us. The rooms all in a line. That means if you are sleeping in the back bedroom, you have to walk through the second bedroom to reach the bathroom or eat-in kitchen. We were all family, so it was not an issue for us. The large windows open above an inner courtyard and provide lots of light and fresh air if wanted. The listing says the apartment is on the first floor. In Paris that does not mean it is on the ground floor. There is a short set of circular stairs to the apartment. Our host, Isabel is a lovely person who was wonderful. While she doesn't speak English, she is a master of Google translate. She and her husband made sure that we had everything that we needed.

Perfect Paris apartment

This apartment was in an absolutely wonderful neighborhood with cafes, bakeries, cheese shops, wine shops and boutiques right at your doorstep. It was comfortable, well equipped with coffee, and Isabelle was a wonderful host. This apartment is gem!

Nice apt in Montmare neighborhood

Our hostess was very welcoming and the apartment had all we needed for our week stay in Paris, nice water pressures for showers, comfortable beds!! The Montmare neighborhood is a great place to explore and a great location to explore Paris. We used the Metro to get to other locations: Notre Dame, Versailles, Eiffel Tower…

Excellent apartment

Isabelle was the nicest host! The apartment was perfect. Easy access to public transportation, loads of bakeries, shopping and restaurants, it had everything you need. Isabelle is what makes this place even more special. She left us a little gift for a birthday and received a package we had delivered. I definitely recommend!

Amazing apartment and wonderful host

I planned a girls trip with a friend and we booked this apartment. Isabel was just fantastic to work with. Very flexible and nice. The place was very clean and the beds were nice and comfy. Very good restaurants nearby. Close to the metro and bus stops. We also loved the espresso machine she provided. And ability to do laundry! Thank you Isabel!

This was a nice but small apartment that made a perfect home base for exploring Paris. Great location with easy access to lots of wonderful Paris neighborhoods. Isabel, the host, was lovely and very helpful.

Paris apartment

This 2 bedroom apartment was so nice and quiet although it was on a busy street. The neighborhood is safe and quaint with so many shops and restaurants, not so far from Mont Martyres. Isabell and Sophie were very nice and helpful. The building has a pretty courtyard.

Wonderful apartment close to everything

This is a great little place with access to everything. Close to many metro stops and within walking distance of: Moulin Rouge, the Palais Garnier, the Big Bus tour and many shops and restaurants. Isabel was a wonderful host and very responsive to all our questions and needs.

Cute Paris apartment

The property is very small but in a quiet building and in between 2 metro stations. There are boulangeries, green grocers, grocery stores, and scores of restaurants. Very convenient; especially if you walk to Sacre Coeur. Two bedrooms so perfect for a couple, or a family of 3. The apartment is long and narrow but there is a sizeable closet and dressers that can store clothing. The bathroom is great. A good place to stay if you want to walk around and explore Paris.

Wonderful Welcome

I stayed here with my teenager and the property was just perfect. After some travel trouble, we arrived very late and they were very kind and understanding. The apartment was exactly what we were hoping for and the location was very convenient. The hosts were terrific and checkout was a breeze.

Good apartment, great neighborhood!

The apartment is small, but has what you need to cook simple meals. It’s not a great place to hang out much or entertain, but the neighborhood MORE than makes up for it. The hosts are simply amazing; friendly, generous and accommodating. This place was great and we hope to stay here again.

Cute little flat in Paris

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in this cute flat. The owner was very nice, informative and helpful. She was very friendly and met us at the door. It was our first time in Paris and she recommended places to see and restaurants to go to. The flat had all the things that we needed to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this flat. Great location and easy access to the metro.

Great location on wonderful street in the 9th arr.

The Rue des Martyrs is so convenient with nearby metro stations and easy walking to fabulous restaurants and food shops. The rooms face quiet inner courtyard. As noted it’s a small place but fine for 2 people. Isabel is very responsive. Will stay there again.

perfect Parisian stay

Isabelle is very helpful and nice. The apartment is well located. Artfully decorated and meets all needs including a clothes washer and stocked kitchen. I highly recommend this sweet little place if you are looking for a nice place in Paris.

Wonderful New Year Stay

Ending 2019 and starting 2020 in Paris was a dream come true, and Isabel and her apartment made it even better. The apartment is small but cozy. The use of space worked great for our group. We didn't do any cooking, but the apartment had everything you would need. Isabel was attentive and easily accessible. We all adored her. I also loved the location of the apartment. We were walking distance to many great spots. Her apartment is 10 minute walk from two of my favorite restaurants (Le Coq Rico and Canard & Champagne - highly recommend). Overall happy with our stay and will come back again! Obrigada, Isabel!

This apartment is small but more than adequate. It is quiet well equipped and Isabelle is a gem! Location is superb on line 12 of Metro. I would stay here again.

User friendly

Good location from train station and metro. Isabelle and husband were above and beyond helpful. No air but don’t usually need it. Great place to stay if your running around touring all day and need a convenient place to stay at night. Would definitely recommend.
