We had a wonderful time on our vacation at this property. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The location of the property is very close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Donabeth’s property was clean, beautiful, and a perfect fit for our family of 5. Teenagers had enough space and privacy. Beds were comfortable. Lots of wildlife to view in the yard. Hot tub every night. Kitchen had everything we needed for dinners together. We loved it. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
The house was great. Well equipped with a nice hot tub. Great location, close to the park and to town. Easy check in. Donnabeth was helpful wit good communication. We loved it!!
Beautiful comfortable home. Had everything we needed for a home away from home while visiting RMNP and Estes Park. This home location has the added bonus of being on the outskirts of town on the same side as the National Park, so you don’t have to get through Estes every time you want to drive into the park. Owner herself represents the property, you don’t have to go through a property manager. Owner had fantastic communication, and left information about the best spots in town to eat and purchase quality pieces for souvenirs that weren’t just junk made in china. We found some art pieces that will help us remember this trip forever. Thank you Donabeth!!
My family and I stayed at this beautiful house right down the street from RMNP last year and we couldn’t wait to come back! We went with the entire family this year and could not be more pleased. The location is perfect. We saw multiple elk in the backyard on a couple occasions! The house was exactly as described. Donabeth is a gracious host who ensures visitors will have a memorable experience. We are very thankful we were able to stay in her beautiful home a second time.
This is a great cabin home in Estes, located very close to the park entrance. We really enjoyed the hot tub after our RMNP hikes. The home is very clean. Owner was responsive when an issue came up.
Wonderful close location for getting into the Park
This is a nice home with beautiful views of the mountains all around it. It's easy to get to and it's away from the commotion of downtown, yet close enough to the diners, gas, coffee, gift shops, etc.
The kitchen is outfitted well and the hot tub is very nice. A few things could be updated here and there but all around this was a comfortable cozy spot after a long day in the mountains. I would absolutely stay again and I look forward to my next visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin feel was exactly what we wanted. It was quiet, felt remote, but was close to everything we needed and wanted. The proximity to RMNP was perfect as we went into it three days. The local grocery store was more than adequate and super close. (Two of us have to eat gluten free and we found everything we needed there, to our surprise.) Getting to town was easy as well, although we did not spend much time there. The cabin itself was comfortable, clean, well appointed, and was a nice place to just enjoy family time on our "down days" after days of hikes. The view of Long's Peak was fantastic and we enjoyed seeing how it changes throughout the day with the variations of light and clouds. A mama and baby elk walked by most every day and they were fun to watch. We enjoyed grilling and made full use of the kitchen most days. Having laundry facilities in the cabin was super convenient. The only thing we didn't get to use was the hot tub since we had thunder storms most afternoons. We will definitely recommend this place to others and stay again if we get a chance to.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Estes Park you can’t go wrong with “Whispering Pines”!
The house is clean, convenient, and located beautifully. The view from the back porch (with hot tub!!) is stunning and throughout the day you will see wildlife hang out around the house.
The host is sweet and made sure we are all set and ready to enjoy her place.
We will be back!
Great location, and a host who is proactive to help you have a good stay. The cabin was recently remodeled and has a good floor plan for a family stay, plus a new hot tub that looks out over the mountains. Some pest control issues that the owner seems to be addressing.
Perfect Retreat for Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park
This place is the perfect location for a base camp when visiting RMNP. Just outside of the Beaver Meadows Entry (you can see the visitor center from the house!). Communication was fantastic, the place is comfortable and excellently equipped for your family to relax after a day of hiking or viewing the beauty of RMNP. I would highly recommend this VRBO!
Everything about our stay was great. The house was comfortable and completely clean. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a real treat after long days of hiking. The location is perfect - right by the park entrance, close enough to town to be convenient but still away from the crowds, and in a natural setting that has an amazing view of Long's Peak and lots of deer wandering through the yard. If we ever have a chance to stay here again on future trips, we wouldn't hesitate to do so.
Amazing property with an incredible view. Minutes away from RMNP entrance. Owner was very thorough with details about the home and tips for everything Estes. The property was beautiful and perfect for our family. Could not say enough good things about this rental. You should definitely rent this property! You won’t be disappointed!
Great stay! Master closet big enough for a pack and play! The hot tub never got “hot” but was enjoyable until the sun went down. Owner has someone come to check the hot tub midday every day: it startled us the first time as we were not made aware it would be happening.
