Nestled in the hills above Keuka Lake, "A Beautiful Place" is an 1,100 square foot, all-season Log Cabin. This fully furnished cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and is located on six acres overlooking the lake just two miles from the rural village of Penn Yan, NY. You are only minutes away from Keuka College, Keuka State Park, several terrific restaurants and many of the Finger Lakes' award-winning wineries. On the other side of the lake you'll find the Penn Yan Airport and a challenging 18 hole golf course. Sunrises over Keuka Lake are really special, so "A Beautiful Place" is great for a romantic weekend getaway for two. It's also perfect lodging for a wine tasting or ski trip, or a fun family vacation!

Long weekend at Finger Lakes

Property is exactly as advertised. A beautiful view of the lake, a great porch to enjoy the scenery (including the deer roaming the property!) and a very clean cabin for your stay. If you have your fur babies, there is a very nice fenced in yard for them to play in. Highly recommend!

Great hosts and amazing property!

The host was amazing, very accommodating. We’ve stayed here in the past and the stay this time was nothing short of exceptional as the last! Very very clean, fenced in yard for the dogs and everything on the property was very well kept up with. Thanks again for our second great stay! We look forward to another in the near future!

It was a beautiful place.

We had a fabulous stay and so peaceful. We enjoyed the house and all the privacy and had 8 deerin the back yard. We toured some wineries but stayed at the cabin most of our stay. We loved it.

Truly amazing and relaxing

We had a very relaxing weekend in this beautiful place. We especially loved the gorgeous view of the lake. Had a nice time putting together a puzzle while staying warm and cozy inside with the fireplace on. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Our Happy Place!

A Beautiful Place is our happy place! It’s clean, comfortable, cozy (love the fireplace), secluded but convenient. This was our fourth visit (and counting) for my husband and me and our two pupsters. We celebrated my birthday by visiting our favorites — Konstantin Frank winery, Sans dumplings, Amity coffee shop and Abandon Brewery — and discovering Azure Hill winery. As if on cue eight deer appeared in the backyard on my birthday just as they did last year. A happy place indeed!

This is truly a beautiful place!

Beautiful wooden place as i was dreaming to be in! Its only 5 mins away from down town where you can find all kinds of shop. The people in town are very friendly and kind. I would love to come back again soon!

Dog Friendly Get Away

The property is perfect for a small group with their dogs! It's secluded from the main town, yet close enough that if you forget something it's easily accessible. This is our 2nd year staying here, and we love coming back!

Cozy cabin at Christmas!

This cabin was exactly as advertised. There is something special about the finger lakes in December. The pace is slower, as tourists are fewer and the winery, distillery and brewery workers have more time to chat. Then to be able to go back to this lovely, secluded cabin at the end of the day and unwind wa just what we needed!

The cabin is owned by Ed (father), Tricia (daughter) and Kara (daughter). Ed, who has sold and built log cabins for over 40 years, built this cabin for a client in the late 80's. When that person decided to move, the family decided to purchase the cabin as a rental property.

Why they chose this property

This is a great, year-round rental in the beautiful Finger Lakes on Upstate NY. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but you are not far from numerous activities if you choose to pursue them.

What makes this property unique

The view of Keuka Lake from the front porch is breath-taking. Wake-up to beautiful sun rises as you sit on the porch and enjoy a cup of coffee.
