Goditi la vita sul lago e rilassati al Bally K, un'accogliente casetta con 3 camere da letto su un appartato terreno di 5 acri. 28 minuti dal centro di Charlotte, 5 minuti dalla I-77

Questo è un terreno a bassa pendenza. Tutti hanno un facile accesso all'acqua. Nessun gradino per salire al molo, nessun gradino per salire per tornare a casa.

Recentemente rinnovato con nuova cucina, pavimenti in legno e nuovi arredi. Coperto e schermato in veranda con zona pranzo. Ponte aperto con splendida vista sul lago.

Pontile galleggiante 30 'x 30'. Lotto di acque profonde con oltre 15 'di acqua al molo, anche nei mesi invernali. Gazebo coperto situato sopra l'acqua per godersi quei tramonti sul lago Normanno.

Ottieni un uso illimitato dei 4 kayak e stand up paddle board - tutto gratuitamente con il noleggio. Lanciarli dal molo o dalla spiaggia sabbiosa sul bordo dell'acqua. Ottimo nuoto nella baia privata, nessun traffico in barca, quindi è sicuro per i bambini.

Porta la tua barca, entra nell'accesso pubblico di Haggar Creek. Skipper a meno di mezzo miglio e ritorno al nostro molo, legalo nello scivolo della barca privata.

Cavo Time Warner con Disney, Nick, Nick Jr, Boomerang e tutti i canali per bambini. Play Station, Wii, con molti giochi. Ottimo posto per i bambini a godersi le vacanze estive.

WiFi a banda larga gratuito

10 minuti di auto da Target, Best Buy, Sam's, Wall-Mart, Dick's, Belk's e altro. 10 minuti di auto da ottimo cibo o prendere la barca per uno dei tanti ristoranti sul lago.

Relaxing stay

The house is wonderful and the views were instantly relaxing! I stayed for a few days while in town visiting my parents who also stayed. It was the perfect location, tucked back into a quiet residential neighborhood but close to restaurants and stores. The dock and spacious back porch were beautiful! We took the kayaks out for a spin on the lake and my parents really enjoyed their time. The hosts were responsive and the house was immaculate. I plan to return again!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful weekend getaway. Convenient location for food, and amazing home. Very clean and had tons of entertainment options for the kids. We selected this rental based on the ease of access from the home to the water (no steps) and it exceeded all expectations. Would love to revisit this home again!

Comfortable and relaxing

My wife and I have stayed at Bally K 6 times and will continue to come back. Our children/grandchildren come for a day and they enjoy the water and amenities. Always a good time..

Excellent location and fabulous owners!

Timothy was very prompt in responding to me. The house was very clean, organized, and had everything that you could possibly need. Timothy was so accommodating; we were greeted with fresh fruit, chocolates, cookies, and a lovely welcome note. We could not have asked for a better girls weekend away. Just The Best

First impressions are important. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable. Kudos to the cleaning crew. The Owners thought of everything! Plenty of towels, bath and beach. Stainless cookware and everything that was needed in the kitchen. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of ways to relax....we especially enjoyed the screened porch and gazebo on the pier. Our son and his family came to visit most days and they enjoyed the shallow entry to the water and the numerous paddleboards and kayaks. We had trouble dragging them out of the water to eat...Overall, one of the best vacation homes we have ever had the pleasure to rent. Top notch all around. Just the best Thank you

A perfect week on Lake Norman!

In addition to Tim & Katherine being accommodating hosts, the peaceful cottage was very clean and well-appointed with a full kitchen & linens. The view from the screen porch is serene & the fishing from dock proved to be successful!

The Bally K Cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. It was not only comfortable and well-appointed but also beautifully maintained. Nestled along the serene lake, the location was ideal for swimming, kayaking, and simply unwinding amidst nature's splendor.

From Beach Bums to Lake Lovers

We have been vacationing to NC beaches for over 20 years and now LOVE the lake! This house was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers). The beautiful property, quiet location and cleanliness of the house was exactly as described. The communication with the owners was prompt and detailed. We will definitely be returning!

Summertime Cottage

We loved staying at Bally-K. Despite the dreadful heat and humidity, it was so lovely to be in a simple, cozy cottage in a small cove. Quiet, relaxing, and welcoming. All things we needed were provided and more! From the flowers, to the treats - we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Listing said there were 3 queen beds when in fact there was only 2 and a couch that folds out into what amounts to a single. We were very happy with everything else and had a very relaxing vacation.

In LOVE with this cottage!

We were in love with everything about this cottage! It was absolutely perfect…the location, the view, the dock, the lake, the amenities, the hosts, everything! The cottage was super cozy and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was amazing and the beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we could need. The view from all the windows and from the screened in porch and deck was breathtaking! Tom and Katherine were amazing and the most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever had! They had fresh flowers, fruit, and goodies along with a handwritten welcome note when we arrived. They went above and beyond to provide us with everything we would need. They even put some wood in the fire pit for us after we messaged to find out where we could buy some wood. My family thoroughly enjoyed our first vacation to Lake Norman! We spent everyday either on the boat that we rented or swimming and floating right off the dock. The ladder made it so easy to get in and out. The evenings were spent cooking out and playing yard games by the water. We cannot wait to go back to the Bally K next summer!

Hidden Gem!

We were in love from the moment we turned into the driveway! Breathtaking view of the lake, cozy and inviting entrance to the cottage with windows that allowed views of the backyard and dock…just perfect for our week to enjoy the lake with family and friends. Like being home.. but with better view

My wife and I have been using this home for 5 last vacations. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Cozy home with all the amenities. Lake front is good for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc…. 10 mins from restaurants and grocery stores. Our children and grandkids come visit for a day and they always look forward to coming. Will be back!

We had an absolute amazing time during our stay. Everything was perfect. We brought our son and his GF to celebrate surviving their first year of college. The weather was unbelievable. We had lots of good food, went kayaking, rented a boat, and enjoyed our lakeside fires. I highly recommend and look forward to our next stay. It was perfection!

Amazing week at the lake!

The property was absolutely perfect for us. Our son moved to Charlotte 2 years ago and we have always stayed in the city. This time we decided to stay in Lake Norman and were so happy that we did. Our son came to visit us ( our other two children went with us) and it was like a vacation for him too. The cottage was lovely. Honestly it had everything we could have asked for. The area was so peaceful and quiet. We played cards on the screened in deck. The location was convenient to get groceries, etc. I hope to stay here again sometime!!

Perfect Family Get-Away!

What a beautiful little getaway for our adult family of four! We spent the days after Christmas enjoying this cottage, cozy by the fire. We were welcomed with a sweet little Christmas tree and some snacks on the table... such a nice touch. The cottage has everything you will need to stay in and cook but is also convenient to downtown Mooresville and some delicious restaurant options. We spent one afternoon having a family field day in the beautiful yard, playing yard games and warming up by the bonfire between. We also enjoyed board games inside in the evening after grilling steaks on the grill. My favorite was watching the sunset on the end of the dock, bundled up in the Adirondack. Thank you for sharing your perfect little cottage. We really felt like we got away from the hustle of the holidays!

Excellent lake vacation home

If you are searching for a relaxing, clean and a lake view cottage, this is it! We loved our stay and we will definitely be back to make more amazing memories. A perfect secluded spot on the lake

My wife and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Bally K Cottage in late October. Pictures are a poor substitute for the scenes you will enjoy here. The house may appear small compared to the neighbors, but as you walk through the door it transforms before your eyes! The vaulted ceiling immediately lends copious space to this delightfully decorated, cozy dwelling. We loved the modern kitchen and the bathroom accent lighting adds so much to the rain-shower experience. Every room has a smartTV which is a nice touch since streaming applications are more and more commonplace. And if pictures dont do justice to the view of the lake through the giant window panes lining the front of the house, then my words will fall even shorter. The screened in porch is a perfect spot to watch the sun rise with your morning coffee before grabbing a life jacket and exploring the lake on the included kayaks. When it comes to sunsets, its hard to beat the view from the gazebo on the dock. I spent each night enjoying the serene stillness of the lake, broken up only by the occasional freindly boater passing by, with a cigar in hand as the sun disappeared. We couldnt have asked for anything more. My only hesitation for writing this review is that I dont want too many people to discover this hidden gem, because I want it to be available for me to rent the next time we can travel to Lake Norman!

Just no like home

My wife and I have stayed here 4 times and have enjoyed each time and have felt at home. Good, quiet location with relaxing porch and deck. Only 10 minutes to grocery stores… we will be back.

Wonderful stay!

This was our third summer at Bally K and we have made some wonderful memories. No worries as it’s meticulously clean, well-equipped and quite comfortable. Plenty of places to gather; my fav is the gazebo on the dock, hubby loves the screened in porch & our grandson just learned to jump in the water off the dock. Feels peaceful but you’re just minutes away from everything. BTW- turns out we stink at Escape Rooms. Thanks to all the O’Hares for their warm welcome and really going the extra mile for us! We appreciate it!

Wonderful stay

The place was lovely; simple and calm; the view spectacular; the thoughtfulness of the hosts to provide treats and flowers and the ease of not having to deal with bedding and towels made the stay so easy. Having the water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, large float, big ball) available made it extra fun! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Host: Tom O'Hare

Céad Míle Fáilte (Irish for a hundred thousand welcomes)

Born in Ireland, Tom and Katie lived and worked all over the world. Their 2 children attended American schools in Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Although they traveled extensively, they always called Charlotte home. Now retired, they spend part of the year at their home in Mooresville, and the rest in Northern Ireland.

Bally K was purchased in 1982 as a vacation home. Both Tom and Katie have a passion for hosting. Since owning a chain of boutique motels seemed out of reach, (and a lot of work) Bally K Cottage was born.
