Stunning

I’ve been traveling for work every two months for the past 2 years and this is hands down the most beautiful home I’ve ever stayed in. I don’t even have the words to describe how incredible it was. The heated garage, the fully stocked kitchen, the hot tub, everything was extremely clean (literally not even a piece of dust), the amenities, the location, the view, the comfy beds and blankets, I could go on forever.

Thanksgiving 2024 was a blast because of the house and location. The admins were kind enough to accommodate our check in request affected by a snow storm. The house itself is very well maintained and well stocked.

Multiple Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this house is amazing! There are 3 sets of bunkbeds (split between 2 rooms) which is perfect for kids. There is so much space indoors and outdoors for activities. They have games, an arcade machine, sleds for the winter, life size chess and more. The place was very clean when we arrived and management responded quickly every time we had a question. I wish the indoor main fireplace was gas, but it was the only one that was wood burning. One issue we had was the bottom level outdoor area to the hot tub was super icy (since the stairs down were blocked off) so management had to come put sand down so we didn't slip. It was only a 13 min drive to the Ski lifts and had an amazing view. We would definitely rent again.

Excellent Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for eight of us. It has plenty of room and is generously equipped. We were able to get to at least 5 different ski resorts within 45 minutes. I would love to use this house in the summertime with the large deck and infinity doors that open up to the deck. The grill and toaster did not work but they were promptly replaced with a new ones. Those type of appliances in the home are very cheap so I am guessing they don't last long which was disappointing but in a rental it may make sense to the owners. The master bath was beautiful but did not have blinds so the tub was not usable for a modest person because of the house behind this house and the trail between the two houses. We would definitely rent again but would ask for blinds in the master bath first.

Wonderful trip

We had a group of 3 families with little kiddos and we had the best time. More than enough room for us all. The home was beautiful with an expansive deck and fireplaces everywhere. The driveway was perfect for our toddlers to sled down. The kitchen was large and had plenty of room for home cooked meals. We really enjoyed ourselves here! Our only recommendation to be more family friendly would be to offer possibly a crib or pack n play to make things easier for young parents. This home was just outside of town giving us the quietness and serenity we wanted but close enough to drive to sight see and partake in the sky/ snowboarding. Thank you for sharing your lovely home, we hope to come back next year to enjoy it again.

Everyone at the Highlands House can find their own space and tranquility. But can also meet in several warm community spaces like the large living / dining room, kitchen, or game room in the basement. Also, the various outdoor areas (all with fireplaces) were wonderful places to relax and visit.A special note about Candance. If anyone is looking for guidance / support on where to stay in Breckenridge or the best house to rent...Candance (with ) is your one stop shop. She is a long-term resident / community member. There is NO better person to involve in planning your next trip to Breck! Airbnb / VRBO just won’t cut it!Neal

Vacation review

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin itself was fantastic, but we did encounter a few issues. Regrettably, it wasn't as clean as expected, with beer bottles and Gatorade containers left on the patio. Additionally, the grill was excessively dirty, impacting our ability to use it. The gas tanks were empty, affecting our use of the grill and outside heater. We understand this is a separate issue, but it added to the overall inconvenience. Most notably, the boiler wasn't functional, leaving us without hot water for a significant part of our stay. This was unacceptable, especially considering the price we paid. Despite these concerns, we still appreciated the cabin, but we strongly feel that addressing such essential amenities promptly is crucial for guest satisfaction.

This home was spacious and perfect for my group of 14. The floors were heated so it was cozy even when it was cold outside. This home provided with many spices and cookware as well as enough towels so we could use the hot tub. Definitely would book this place again.

Family get together

We stayed in the home with our 3 grown children and their families. We all loved the home and lived on the back deck! Absolutely beautiful views. The house had everything you could possibly need for cooking your own meals. There were lots of games, ping pong, pool, hot tub, even a video arcade for the young and old alike. We were close enough to enjoy the town but we loved the quiet of being out a bit. The house was spotless and comfortable. We all said that we would love to Come back again!

Fantastic house

We loved the house! It was beautiful. We liked being able open the sliding doors to the deck, though we had a chipmunk friend come inside for a evening. We did manage to get him back outside. We were able to enjoy the deck fire pit one evening as it rained the rest of our stay. The throw blankets and the good chewy ice in the downstairs bar area were our favorites . We had plenty of room to be together and yet each family was able to have their own space, too. We would definitely stay again.

Family of 11 Together Making Memories

The home was far more than we expected right down to the fresh flowers that were greating us upon our arrival. We cooked all our meals in the well stocked kitchen and had plenty of room for us to all eat together. It was amazing! Just had a couple things that wish would have been disclosed. The ice maker in the refrigerator in the kitchen did not work & no light in the refrigerator. The fireplace on the upper deck did not work & thats where we spent all our time in the evenings. We made due with the fire pit but would have been really nice to have the fireplace too with our large group. We made a service call on a plumbing issue and the service guy came didnt have the correct tool, said he'd be right back but never returned. None of this stopped us from having a fabulous time. We would come back in a heart beat and highly recommend this property. Thank you for sharing your home!

The house was beautiful. The views were extraordinary everything about this house location View was a 10+ I would stay there again in a heartbeat they have everything you need to have fun with the kids, small and big. The pictures of the house are right on. I don’t know how you could do any better

Great property - loved the house. We were overhwhelmed at how nice the house was and how well it was stocked. Certainly one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. Above and Beyond!

We absoluteeeely loved our stay here. We had communication leading up to our trip, during our trip and after. Checking in and checking out was clear and concise which was beyond helpful. Also, checking out was a breeze! No crazy cleaning instructions or taking bedding off, etc which was helpful getting out the door. This house was beautiful. Honestly, I wish we could have spent more time there than we did. It’s decorated beautifully, well kept and super clean. We had a group of 10 girls and there was plenty of space in the living room for us to hang out and relax and love the long dinging room table for group meals. The house is a quick drive to town but if you are choosing to have some drinks the HOA transportation option was such a bonus! One thing to note, there is a master bedroom on the first floor and there are blinds but not on the top windows so it did get a little bright early in the morning so early birds should take that room :) Other than that, everyone slept wonderfully and all the beds were very comfortable! Looking forward to booking again during the summer time and enjoy the big outside deck and hot tub We will definitely be back and looking forward to our next stay.

Amazing place to stay in Breckenridge

Could not recommend enough, beautiful house with fantastic views. Plenty of space for everyone in our party and just a short drive away from the mountain.

Perfect spot for a big group!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about this place was perfect. We had a group of 13 and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals every night, the hot tub was great, and the views off the back porch are so beautiful! The shuttle was pretty wonderful also. There were a lot of caveats with the shuttle, but once we learned the times and locations they could drop off and pick up, we were good. Definitely try to make shuttle reservations a day or two in advance. Book this place - you won't be disappointed. :)
