We rent villa 'Casa Don Camillo', a spacious holiday home for 8 persons with private pool, located in the urbanization Playa Flamenca in Orihuela on the Costa Blanca.
This holiday home is the perfect location for your relaxing holiday. It is easily accessible from the airports of Murcia or Alicante.
Villa 'Casa Don Camillo' is the ideal base for all water sports, golf and for beautiful nature walks to make!

On the ground floor of this villa there is a comfortable kitchen with all appliances (dishwasher, microwave, ...), 4 double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, two bathrooms with bath and shower, a spacious living room with direct access to the pool, sun terrace and closed parking for 2 to 3 cars.

Behind the house, there is a boules court and a spacious garden surrounded by plants and palm trees that stay in the shade for a large part of the day.

Perfect for relaxation

Great location 5 mins walking to beach. Great bars/restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Accommodation perfect with large veranda to sit on in an evening. Pool brilliant with gradual access rather than ladders (I have mobility issues) to enjoy and swim in plus sun loungers by the pool to enjoy the sun

Fabulous Family Holiday in Playa Flamenca

Just back from a week long stay in this lovely villa. The villa is spacious, clean, in a convenient location and had everthing we needed for an enjoyable stay. We spent most days just relaxing by the pool. If I’m honest, a new set of sun loungers and cushions would be a great addition, as the current ones are a quite worn, but this didn’t affect our holiday too much. If I was returning to the area, I’d definitely consider booking here again.

Beautiful

We really loved the villa, fully equipped with everything you would need. The pool and grounds were outstanding. Location was perfect. Would definitely recommend. We met with Marina, who was lovely and showed us round the villa and communication with Tom was great he replied to all messages very quickly.

Family Holiday

We were given straight forward instructions and meet at the property and showed around which was very helpful. The villia itself has everything you could wish for and was beautifully clean even though they were hit with Sahara dust the evening before. Everything was in walking distance although booking a taxi was straightforward and some of our group used the scooters which was easy to do. I would highly recommend this villia and Vrbo to anyone. Many thanks to Marina for looking after us.

Well equipped spacious property

Fantastic outside space, well equipped with furniture & sunbeds for everyone & lovely pool. Very good position within easy walking distance of beaches/bars/restaurants/supermarket & a reliable local taxi firm for evenings out slightly further away so a car is not essential. Villa kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses & cooking equipment & plenty of towels for the bathroom & pool were provided. Extensive gardens with lots of space for families with children & outside dining facilities. Overall a great property we would happily return to.

A beautiful home in a great location

There were only 3 of us, the house could have easily accommodated 8 or more. It was immaculate and everything was good quality. Everything was thought of and the management company were super helpful and efficient. Once you're there you don't really need a car, the beach, bars and mercadona are on the doorstep. But the pool and grounds are so nice you don't need to leave the house! It is a lot of money for a week and no doubt there are cheaper options. But for large families it's definitely worth it, and having experienced bedding fees/ cleaning fees/ air con fees/ excess electricity fees in other villas we personally felt it was a fair price for the location and the quality. We had an amazing time, and would totally book again, thank you!

The property was ideal for our family. Great pool everything you could need was available. Close to all amenities and walking distance to the beach. Beds a little firm for us but other than that a lovely place to stay.

Fantastic villa

We stayed in this villa for two weeks this August. 4 adults and two children. The villa grounds are beautifully kept, and the pool is super. The villa is lovely, with everything you will need. Villa is really well located, the beach at the end of the road with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The villa would suit two families also. We will definitely be back! Excellent comms with Tom and Marina!

Fantastic villa in an amazing location.

We had an amazing holiday staying at this villa, the villa was very spacious and the pool was perfect and our little boy had a wonderful time playing in it. The host was very helpful and welcoming and we would stay there again. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, so close to the beach and near some lovely restaurants and bars.

Stunning Villa

We stay in the area a lot, but this is by far the best property we have used. Spacious, beautiful gardens and pool, perfect location for all of our favourite bars and beaches. The housekeeper was exceptionally helpful! Can’t wait to return!

Great location lovely and peaceful with 5 min walk to Flamenca Beach

Had a great week staying at the villa, it was lovely and peaceful. Pool and garden area is excellent in size. A very short walk to Flamenca beach with a good little beach bar. Marina who looks after the property was super helpful throughout our stay. Would stay again.

Beautiful Villa

We stayed here as a family of 8. All different ages. The pool was amazing !! ... So warm, just like a bath. Villa was very spacious and clean. Location excellent !! Couple minute walk to Playa Flamenca Beach. The view from the terrace was amazing.

Great location, nice outside space, bedrooms a bit cold

Let's start with the Pros - this villa is in a great location. Easy 2 minute (if that!) walk down to Playa Flamenca beach (which has been a bit battered by the recent floods but I am sure will be sorted by 2020). Also an easy walk over to La Zenia & Cala Capitan beaches - 10-15 minutes along the coast path. Really close to a Mercadona supermarket too. The outside space at the villa is great. A lovely covered terrace/verandah area with a seaview & dining table right outside the front door. A nice outside comfy sofa for chilling on & a variety of sun loungers dotted around the place to catch the sun or shade as required. The pool is an ok size, not heated (but they aren't usually). No fence or gate though (a consideration if you have young children which we don't). There's a pretty new (& very clean) washing machine in the garage with airers & a whirligig line if needed. The front door leads to a decent size lounge/dining area with tv - we spent most of the time outside but this was a nice space if needed. The kitchen is ok, although a little dated & needs a bit of a review of the items. Quite a bit of the crockery (plates, mugs etc) were chipped - I guess we rented at the end of the season & this probably gets looked at at the start of the season. Also, the dishwasher baskets/racks need to be replaced as there were quite a few 'prongs' that had rust on them. The kettle had rust on it around the rim at the top so needs to be replaced. The main negative point for us was that the bedrooms were really quite cold (we had to use the air con units as heaters as instructed by the property manager) and damp. To be fair we rented the villa late October but the smell of damp was quite noticeable - this is obviously a known issue as there was a little damp trap/absorber in one of the rooms. I am guessing that this isn't an issue in the summer months - so just beware if you're visiting out of season. Overall though this is a great villa & we'd probably rent again if we returned. to visit.
