Beautiful Welsh cottage
We absolutely loved this property, it’s so beautiful. It’s nested in the Welsh countryside with stunning views. We were greeted with a freshly made loaf of bread, orange juice, butter and eggs which was lovely! The interior furnishings were really well done too!
There are only a few reasons for not making each point 5*’s, they are as follows; the WiFi didn’t work - we didn’t mention this to the owners as we were only staying 2 nights and didn’t find it worth bothering them for. But it may cause disruption to your holiday if you’re planning on doing some work which requires the use of internet (might be fixed but maybe expect it to be patchy!). The second point which isn’t a bad thing - we didn’t realise the whole building was just for us, we thought we’d only be using 1/2 of the building pictured, so that was a pleasant surprise. I can’t remember whether it mentions accessibility in the description but the garden, as beautiful as it is, isn’t accessible if you have mobility issues. It’s also incredibly slippy - I slipped on the slabs pretty much as soon as we arrived. There is a note in the welcome book about it but only read that after… might be good to get a sign. It sounds strange but we didn’t know how to leave the property when we left. We hung around a bit, thinking the owner would come out and send us on our way - asking if we’d enjoyed our stay etc. but they didn’t. Again didn’t think it was worth disrupting their Sunday at 10am so we just left.
