Over promised and under delivered
On viewing the pictures and video on this villa on line , we were excited to stay here with our family and friends . The cost to stay here was astronomical for what we actually ended up living in . The villa is very tired , in need of renovating to keep in line with its Neighbourhood . Outside pool area very dangerous , uplifted tiles , sharp edging , unkept patio , ripped, mouldy chair cushions dangerous steps . Blinds did not work , kitchen equipment minimal and some not working . Kitchen damp with evidence of leaks on ceiling and doors . Deco unprofessional painted , no books to work anything , no instruction Manuel to guide you around the villa , two days with no hot water ,some even had no water due to faulty heaters , water poured through ceiling in one guest room , one lift wasn’t working , no brooms ,hoovers , mops for 5 days , small fridge in main kitchen not enough room for large families regardless of other kitchens in the house , bowling balls became regularly stuck , cinema didn’t work , ripped chairs in entertainment area , missing light shades , lastly we had cockroaches !!! All in all a very disappointing stay . I would like the owner to know of these problems so someone else doesn’t have this dissatisfaction. We have stayed on reunion for many years and at many beautiful villas with our family and this has to be the worst . I wouldn’t of paid half of the money to stay here and would like some kind of refund for our misery . On a more positive note the management of this villa was helpful as they could be , Rafael in particular was apologetic and helped as much as possible but eboni’s problem are not skin deep and are in need of some real TLC .
