Central Rome, Testaccio and Trastevere, 2 stops to Coliseum, two bathrooms

THE APARTMENT - Our apartment is spacious and suitable for two couples (2 bathrooms). It is ideally located to visit the city on foot and for a full immersion in the most authentic Roman atmosphere.
It is located in the historical center, on the first floor of a building close to Piazza Testaccio. The street is not very busy and very quiet.
The apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower and 2 single beds that can be combined, a second bathroom with shower, a small living room with single sofa bed and a well-equipped kitchen with a table for 4/5 people
Supermarkets, shops and several typically Roman restaurants nearby.

THE DISTRICT - Testaccio is certainly the most authentic neighborhood of the historic center of Rome. It is frequented, young people, families and artists. In Testaccio you will find many clubs, the best Roman trattorias, the most famous and colorful local market in Rome (it is 4-6 minutes walk from our apartment) and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome (5 minutes walk).

THE REST OF THE HISTORICAL CENTER - You can reach by foot all the other famous places of Rome. You will reach Trastevere neighborhood in less than 10 minutes on foot. The Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla and the Colosseum are 10 or 15 minute away.
‘Piramide’ subway station is about 7 minute away by foot. The Circus Maximus and the Baths of Caracalla are just one stop away (2 minutes), the Colosseum two stops away (4 minutes). Continuing with the subway you will quickly reach the Termini Station, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, the Vatican City.
An urban train leave ‘Piramide’ station to get to the famous archaeological site of ‘Ostia Antica’ and for the beaches of Ostia.

LA CASA – Il nostro appartamento è spazioso, adatto anche a due coppie (2 bagni), ed è situato in posizione ideale per visitare la città anche a piedi e per l’immersione nella più autentica atmosfera romana.
Si trova in pieno Centro Storico, al primo piano di un palazzo che si affaccia lateralmente su Piazza Testaccio. La via è poco trafficata e molto silenziosa.
La casa è composta da una camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale, una seconda camera da letto con un bagno interno con doccia e con 2 letti singoli che è possibile accostare, da un secondo bagno anch’esso con doccia, da un piccolo soggiorno con divano letto singolo e da una cucina ben attrezzata con un tavolo per 4/5 persone
Supermercati, negozi e diversi ristoranti tipicamente romani nelle vicinanze.

IL QUARTIERE - Testaccio è sicuramente il più autentico tra i rioni del Centro Storico di Roma perché ancora abitato con larga prevalenza da romani, perché vissuto e frequentato da giovani, famiglie, artisti e personaggi dello spettacolo. A Testaccio troverete numerosi locali, le migliori trattorie romane, il più famoso e colorato mercato rionale di Roma (si trova 4-6 minuti a piedi dal nostro appartamento) e Il Museo d Arte Contemporanea di Roma, il MACRO (5 minuti a piedi).

IL RESTO DEL CENTRO - Con una passeggiata si possono raggiungere tutti gli altri luoghi di Roma tra i più visitati. Così giungerete a Trastevere in meno di 10 minuti a piedi. Il Circo Massimo, le Terme di Caracalla e a seguire il Colosseo si trovano a una passeggiata di 10 - 15 minuti.
Per chi lo preferisce è possibile muoversi con la metropolitana. La fermata Piramide dista una passeggiata di circa 7 minuti da casa. Il Circo Massimo e le Terme di Caracalla sono a una sola fermata (2 minuti), il Colosseo due sole fermate (4 minuti). A seguire raggiungerete rapidamente la Stazione Termini, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Villa Borghese, il Vaticano. Dalla fermata Piramide parte anche il treno urbano per gli scavi di Ostia Antica e per le spiagge di Ostia.
